This story features a band new character, calvin richards, who prefers the nickname cal. cal is a deaf boxer who is befriended by one of my other canine characters, l. roy connelley. this is the first of six chapters i’ve already written for cal.

Afterthought
Even with james playing a new character, it was no contest. all i was able to ever do was get him to fifty percent. still, that was more that i'd ever be able to do normally.
