Burned Memories (Part 2)
It had barely been an hour when snowfire returned with a german shepard running around his paws as he walked back to the campsite, the dog's tongue hanging out in enjoyment.

"this must be how rhino felt" she thought sadly as the dog's tongue lapped up her thick, although mild, flavour, but unlike the hamster mitten's had a chance to escape.
Life
But as i felt it, i knew now exactly what it was: a dog's tongue. zeke gave my cheek a gentle lick, a soft murr i swore could be heard as i heard the dog's breathing return to a slumbering rate.
Once, twice and again!
She caught the soft, sweet velvet of the other dog's tongue, and when taru's grip tightened on the mutt's supple side it was the answer to the only question left worth asking. she awoke hours later, still snuggled in the collie's happy embrace.

Initially too shocked at this sudden news and turn of events, the squirrel was pulled back into reality when he felt the (alarmingly familiar) sensation of the dog's tongue giving him a good, hard lick across his face.
