I suppose I ought to give this at least some sort of epilogue, the next series was supposed to focus on Bright and his son, who would be introduced in a written but unpublished work. That would focus on them as Bright's son Midnight manages losing his memories and college. It would have expanded the Voidwalker legacy. And Midnight he would be in the Bottom and Top of the World, two stories that shared a timeline. One where Niko goes to the South Pole and one where he fights the Soviet Union, both were different timelines and that was a fun experience to write as well. I started to write on Fanfiction.com with Pokemon Fusion Warriors where my proclivity for taking ideas that other authors idea and expanding started. After that I did it again with the Outsiders, thanks to Nex Canis, you inspired to become a better writer.

And then I did a bit more and stopped, I made another account embarrassed of what the last incarnation of me wrote and I started writing again. This time I reworte the Outsiders story, pretending to be a friend of my old account and continuing the stories, not that any of you cared. I started to write Outsiders: Legend on 9/24/15. The next series Return of the Energywalkers built on conspects and then Creators and Hunters created a multiverse with a returning series who traveled between series and became a villain, Kagens appeared as well, and so did the devil. And while I started grander ideas of a long scale series, I wanted to wrap up what I now called Phase 1, the final 5 chapters in Creators and Hunters did this and what I believe is in a glorious fashion. And I bullshitted that so hard, but it was so grand and rebooted the Kagens.

In the now Phase 3, I introduced a rival race to the Kagens, the Riftwalkers and another universe set on Tau Ceti. And then through the Modern Rainforest and Limits at Infinity we finally arrive at Rise of the First Front. And then the Old Rainforest, and to the Fall of the First Front. I finished writing War of the First Front on 11/26/2016, and I have to say writing this was one of the greatest years of my life. And I thank everyone who commented and read because you inspire me to do better and as for next, well I figure if you can do something with mild success why do it for free, The Bottom of the World is being adapted into my little own story Ashes of the World, and the first draft for the story, which while replaced is a starting place can be read here.

Chapter Twelve: Earthlings, Part Two

In the final days of the Earth, everyone had bad dreams. Not dreams of the horrors of war and instantly that took place outside of their windows, but at the breathtaking future that their race had. All of them forgot, because as mortals they must; the knowledge of the future is too much for one person to handle.

And in the end no one remembered the end of time facing them, the chains of death and the destruction of the Earth by the nanobots and moon in the sky. With a countdown clock, everyone on the planet had been given a notification of how long they had. And in the final week of the month of October, with the grips of fall taking the northern hemisphere and the grips of life taking the southern, everyone had bad dreams.

Some dreamed of even more hells to be fighting in, other worlds of Kagen and Riftwalker fighting. Some saw the failed process of peace in the past and where that had gotten the Outsiders before and all of them forgot. Some saw the deaths of the Outsiders, all of them, each and every one of them passing into the great beyond, existing out of time and waiting to go to be rebirthed.

And they all forgot, because everyone on the planet of Earth had bad dreams in that week but no one remembered. No expect for one single man…

Nanobot Bright walked around the darkened city of San Francisco. With the war temporally coming to a close in order to deal with the approaching moon, the shark could finally step out from the Lake Tahoe Corridor and get some relaxation. With a cup of hot cider in his hand, it seemed that at least some of the niceness of the human race was coming out in their final week.

Everyone was out, doing what they could, what they could enjoy. The street he walked upon was empty of cars, filled with civilians. Bright allowed his appearance to change, changing his metal skin into dark blue oily shark skin and a black jacket over a pair of jeans to be is normal mortal appearance.

Sipping on the cider, it brought memories of New York, memories he had of two timelines. But in both the time before winter, in fall when he and Colin had just gotten together and could step out were the ones he remembered well. The timeline he saw was only but starting, this would be one where he was prepared.

His normal counterpart would be dragged to New York and if all went well, he would finally enjoy his time with Colin. After all that had happened, Bright felt his younger self deserved it. Taking another sip of the cider, he looked up into the night sky; the moon was closer but it wasn’t moving as fast as before.

His little trick was to make sure the humans knew something was closer, so he only moved the moon closer before setting it on its slowing path. Lights and street signs were hung up, and children ran through the streets; all the while music played over, butchers displayed their proudest cuts of meat and shops prepared their finest food.

“Maybe I should trap them in a state of perpetual doom, like make them forgot about the approaching moon each week and then reset the moon back to its position, make it fall again and partake in human joy. Then again the killings that will probably happen on the last day might make it a bit hard to sell.” Bright told himself and then his watch shook. “Ah another challenger approaches.”

Bright teleported, disappearing in a flash of light. And when he entered the mortal realm again, he was standing on a cliff edge. In front of him was the eternally judging face of Isaac O’Neil, the shark had his hands crossed and was looking forward with a sly look on his face. Bright knew that he was being interrogated.

“I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt in saying that you don’t want to kill me, but like I said I created this situation so you could work this out with the Kagens and the Riftwalkers. Right now I am sure that they are still freaking out on why they can’t create protals…” Bright spoke, a laugh coming to his mind as he imagined Twilight freaking out. “It’s the small victories that count sometimes.”

“Goddamn these powers, why won’t you open!” Twilight thrusted his hands forward and to his surprised, finally the green ball of energy started to expand out. But it was a no sell, the portal popped open like a ball of confetti and the Kagen was knocked back. “Fuck!”

“Would you like to join us at the table? Joss is so far resisting any attempts and I think you might have really stolen all of his nanobots.” Isaac asked. Bright smiled and his hand glowed purple as a set of wings appeared on his back. The nanobots feel to the ground as Bright snapped his fingers.

Isaac watched as Bright took a step forward, his face now covered in shadow like before.

“Fine then, they will not know who I am or why I did it but, keep the attention off me; you know why I am doing this and so should they.” Bright spoke, his voice muffled as he grabbed Isaac’s hand and snapped his fingers. In front of him, a single table sat.

It was wooden, and a set of tea was placed in the center. Grabbing a seat, the Nanobot Master looked over to the three judging faces between him. Across the long end of the table was Finn, and to his side was Twilight to his right and Ignatius to his left. The shark just sat down and allowed his presence to be known.

“Ah and look who has arrived at the table, the destroyer to the human race. Do you have anything to say for yourself?” Ignatius asked as he looked up over and slammed his hands down on the table. The shark held his hands out and a stream of nanobots grabbed a cup and a tea bag holding them together and a third pouring hot water into a cup.

“Yes, I do.” Bright spoke, his voice and face muffled by the shroud of airborne nanobots around him. “Before I was known as that, you two were co-equally known as that. Don’t give up our day job, Ignatius but then again with how many mortal races you fucked over, I’m still surprised the Brotherhood employs your services.”

Nanobot Bright took a sip of the tea, enjoying the taste of the chai as it slipped over his tongue and down his throat. Ignatius’s head started to steam, the leader of the Riftwalker army mocking the nanobot as he sat down.

“The Brotherhood employs me because I get results. And if not for you interference, the war would have been over by this time because the Kagens can’t make a defense!” The Riftwalker Brother accused the other two members.

“Men calm down, we are here for all four of us. We need to set aside our differences in order to escape this planet and allow all four of us to survive in the future.” Finn calmly moderated. Twilight looked over and glanced at the nanobot leader, his presence was so familiar but so different.

“Well maybe if you had shown some reverence for the Gods that you should be worshipping, you would understand why this war has to happen!” Ignatius yelled to Finn, the shark opening his mouth in confusion.

“Oh I’m sorry last I checked, Gods really didn’t let their own worshippers die; then explain to me; Maryam Edison, Iren, Tidus, Billy and Basil, Michelle and even Erick.” Finn glanced his head over to the three killers he saw in front of him. “I have been waiting to see you be confronted with the deaths you caused, and maybe if you were really gods you would understand the deaths of the people I loved, the deaths of the civilians you took away from us!”

“Listen we all fucked up, but this is a war.” Twilight spoke as he crossed his arms and looked around at the three people around him, hoping that peace would be maintained at the table. If not in here then hopefully outside, because he knew that the war was not something that the Kagens could win.

“And maybe you would then understand not to fight on people’s worlds, this is our land and maybe you should have fucked off this world and gone to Mars when you got here; and you could have had your little happy war. But you made the wrong choice, you involved my Earth.” Finn spoke as he glanced at the three.

“Well fuck that, I don’t have to take this.” Ignatius spoke as he clapped his hands and teleported away in a blast of fire. Finn smiled at the “Gods” around him as they teleported away. Twilight frowned as he disappeared in blue light and the nanobot master in a flash of white.

“Well shit.” Finn looked over to the window and saw the set sun, the moon was alive in the sky. And surely as he walked over to the window, he could see the entire surface before him. All the craters and all the impact marks were spread out in front of him to see. “Back to the drawing board.”

Finn slept that night if only barely, sleeping with Isaac; the shark managed to close his eyes and fall into the world of sleep. Which was dark, Finn stepped forward but it seemed he was trapped in a sphere of darkness. With each step, he took, the sound of his footsteps echoed around.

He peered forward into his dreams and looked around, there was no moon in the sky. No stars lighting up his dreams, he was in pure darkness. The shark sat down as he looked around in his own void. And then he sat down, Finn sat down. The shark was caught between two stools, accept the Riftwalkers or accept the Kagens.

“But you know you can’t choose either of those can you.” Finn opened his eyes and the void of darkness was gone. It was only a layer of dreams, this time he was in a meadow. A dark meadow, the normal sized moon shined in the sky; and the stars were like tiny points of light in the sky.

And as the wind blew through the field, through the gossiping grass; Finn took a needed breath of air. Filling his parched lungs and opening his throat. He felt himself able to talk again, Finn stepped forward as he looked at the figure in the center of the meadow.

It was a bird, the rainbow feathers along her wings and head suggested some sort of toucan to him. Finn extended his hand and as soon as he touched the figure, his hand phased through her. Her body was gone, only a representation, a hologram appeared in front of him. She was a hologram, Finn stared with his eyes on a hologram.

“Oh Mr. Finn I do declare, please be nicer with your hands.” The toucan spoke as she turned around and looked at the shark. Finn backed up, putting both of his hands in the air.

“Oh, I’m sorry I didn’t mean to…” Finn spoke before he realized who he was talking to. The toucan laughed as she watched Finn’s face filled with shock and awe. “You’re a hologram, how can you feel anything?”

“I’m not a hologram, this is just how your kind see my kind. I am dead, but in the meantime, you can call me Mary.” The original Outsider extended her hand, and Finn grabbed it. Mary smiled as she shook his hand, and into the innocent eyes of the Outsider she stared. “Shame about this all, but you are caught in a thousand-year conflict that has taken place in the future and in the past, but you are the one who can end it. I can feel that. And I wish you luck and offer you this, appeal to the original foundations of the Kagens.”

Billy was sealed up forever, a zipper separating him from the world of the living forever. And Ross stood their bravely as Barry pushed him into the morgue, a temporary burial until they could properly do something with the dragon. Ross stood their silent as Barry closed up the little grave and locked it.

“You okay?” Barry asked and Ross nodded his head in disagreement. Barry extended his hands and embraced the metallic dragon. They were turned into toys by the nanobot empire and both could relate being nanobots. Ross just soot their silent with his hand on the morgue wall.

“Come on get yourself back together, we don’t have a lot of time left on this world but I think there is one thing we can do that we would both agree to spend our fragile time on.” Barry looked at Ross and the dragon opened his eyes. “I think we can agree that Joss did this, he found Billy too much or somehow it all relates back to Joss.”

“You mean you want to go on a trip of revenge?” Ross asked as he looked back and wondered what the dead dragon would want them to do. “Well I suppose so, I think I deserve to kill that bastard where he stands after all he has done to us.”

“Exactly that’s the point, we Earthlings need to make sure these nanobots know where their place is and we are going to tear them limb by limb.” Barry smiled as he raised his hand up and an energy cannon appeared. Ross did the same and his sword jutted out.

“Joss went barking up the wrong tree when he decided to take what was Billy’s because now he has to deal with us. And we are Outsiders, we don’t cut corners and this will cost him an arm and a leg.” Ross smiled as he walked over to the morgue entrance, leaving the white tiled room and walking up the stairs. Barry opened a side door and walked right into the garage.

“You know what I think you’re right, Joss has fucked with us and when you fuck with the Outsiders we fuck you back.” Barry smiled as he jumped into the first jeep he found. Ross unbuckled his jean jacket and jumped into the passenger side, clicking a button on the dash, and starting the engine, the garage opened up and they saw the sunlight of the eternal sun. Barry started to accelerate and drove out of the garage, turning off and deciding to use their time on a mission for revenge and love.

“Well then besides the soldiers, me and Finn are the only Outsiders left on this base. I suppose at this point we have lost nearly everyone, who knows where Barry and Ross have gotten to at this point and I suppose that makes us the only two Outsiders left on this planet.” Isaac contemplated as he looked over to Bright.

“You know, besides the others in every major city that fought along with you in order to make sure their city wasn’t taken over by the Kagens or Riftwalkers but who cares about them?” Bright responded as he sat down on the cliff, his nanobot genes kept shifting. “And you know the version of me that is also here.”

“Out in the woods training.” Isaac responded as he leaned back and looked into the sky, the moon was bright. And it was massive, it could be seen in the daytime sky. That seemed to be the eternal signaler of the upcoming apocalypse. “Just you me and the apocalypse isn’t it.”

“Listen both sides can be appealed to and just like before, I’m not going to give you the answer. Just know, portals are the only blocked off method off this planet, a shift however might just work with enough energy but to use that much energy, you need a lot of people.” Bright smiled and waved as he teleported away. Isaac looked around, he was alone now.

“Isaac, are you out here?” Finn yelled into the forest and Isaac put his hand out shifting a few trees with his power. The shark laughed as he noticed and walked out into the opening, joining Isaac, both sharks sitting down on the edge of the cliff. “So then how long do you suppose we have until we are blown to pieces?”

“Two days or so, but I think I might have a way to get out of here. But we have time, so you know we can cuddle here for a while.” Isaac leaned into Finn and smiled as he placed his hand on the shark’s chest. The Outsider felt his lover’s fragile breathing and leaned him back, both of them looking up into the deadly moon.

“Shame it is always like the trick you used to pull on me, but gravitation lensing seems like a cheap party trick now that I know how you did it.” Finn whispered into Isaac’s ear. The forest was stained an orange color and the sun burned up in the sky, below them the scene with a little village and the forest surrounded them looked amazing.

“I wish it could be like this forever, if only we could remain in perpetual doom like this. Everyone would have something they wanted to do and no inhibitions, this is a very truthy time.” Finn looked into Isaac and leaned his head into the open chest of the shark. “But I think the biggest truth, that we know right now is that I love you.”

“And the truth from me is.” Isaac nearly stumbled as memories of everything he did filled his head. “I love you too.”

“Men we have gathered her today, in the name of peace and in the name of peace I swear something will happen; either we all kill each other or we manage to work something out.” Finn stood up and in front of the two Kagen representatives, Twilight and Ignatius; looked at them with judging faces. The moon was crashing into the Earth and they had no other options but to try something.

“I don’t know but I think that we might be able to kill two birds with one stone, kill the Riftwalkers and get that annoying headache.” Twilight flippantly released, flapping his hand about as he twisted around on the chair, legs pulled up and a resting bitch faced competently applied.

“Oh really you want to just go here, because behind that smug and smarm I see a dead man!” Ignatius yelled standing up as he pointed, fire summoning from his wrist, bending around his hand and standing at the end of his finger; ready to fire at the first sign of snark.

“Ignatius, you couldn’t fathom the dead men behind me.” Twilight confidently rolled off. Finn just stood there with a shocked expression on his face, Isaac looked around and raised a finger.

“Now then time to try this again.” The shark used his powers, both leaders slamming back into their chairs with force. Isaac jumped onto the table and looked around at the room, it was dark and dusty. Turning his other hand to the edge of the room, a pair of curtains were pulled back, sunlight flowing in but the image of the moon in the distance readily in their minds now.

“So then let’s look out there, we were all wrong; we have little more than twenty-four, maybe twenty-five hours left on this planet. And if you remember none of you can escape!” Isaac yelled, pulling down on the seats, making sure the Kagen and Riftwalker could really feel the weight of the situation on their shoulders.

“Now then either we manage to find a solution that leads to peace, or find a solution that leads to peace and if it involves both of you sucking the other’s cocks, so be it!” The shark confidently marched over. With an unbeatable amount of smugness, smarm and snark under his belt, nothing could stand in the way of his ideals. “Now then gets just make sure you all understand.”

“Ignatius, you and Riftwalkers are assholes; you could have ended it when you arrived and simply went off planet and found another world to fuck over, but as it seems, you fucked with the wrong universe.” Isaac spoke, in the background Twilight laughing. “Oh don’t get any ideas cherry princess.”

“And you have killed Iren, Tidus and Basil; those are three people I really liked and who knows the bounds of dead men behind you. Don’t answer that because I don’t give a shit!” Isaac walked to the edge of the table, as he did the plates and set up tea started to slide, the shark using his powers and weight to balance on the table at angle. “So then understand you place in this peaking order.”

Isaac turned around and kicked his foot back, Ignatius screamed as he and his chair were slammed back into the wall. Finn shocked as the wolf hit the ground, Isaac snapped his fingers and the wolf was raised up and trapped in his place again.

“Twilight… Twilight… Twilight… I shouldn’t have had to spent a moment in order to talk down to you but as it seems you have forgotten the ideals that Koji fucked into your brain. And right now I have to remind you of them. Let me tell you something, I have the greatest idea to save this planet and you better not mess this up, so agree or kill yourself and get a better personality.” Isaac yelled as he jumped off from the edge of the table and landed in the middle. The room was ruffled and so were its attendants, so all was well in the shark’s book.

“Holy shit.” Finn whispered under his breath as Isaac twisted on his foot, knelling down and standing face to face with the shark. Finn smiled as he felt the warm breath of Isaac on his nose.

“See this is why you…”

“What the hell are you doing aren’t you supposed to be focusing…” Ignatius yelled as he stood up again.

“I am trying to have a moment with my fiancé over here!” Isaac yelled leaning into Finn’s face, all the while kicking his foot down and slamming the wolf. He nibbled on Finn’s lip and then backed off. “Okay don’t let it go to your head but maybe I should focus, the moon always kills my boners.”

“So then, let’s get some focus here; in the words of a starfish, why can’t we take the Earth and push it somewhere else?” Isaac looked around the room and the two leaders seemingly couldn’t speak. “What haven’t you thought about getting out of your little constrained boxes?”

“What if we take all the citizens of Earth and move them somewhere else?” Finn proposed. Isaac stopped his thinking for a second and turned over to his love, the shark had a bubbly look on his face. Isaac smiling and patting Finn on the head as he jumped down to the ground.

“So then if we can’t portal people off this world, or fly away; what if we shift them off this world? Find a new Earth, a new universe; I mean if all possibilities are nearly possible, then surely there might be an empty Earth just like ours, maybe one say killed by a virus?” Isaac added and then he looked over to the two leaders, both of them, hands in the air with energy circling around.

“Isaac, congratulations you might have figured out a way to save your race and end this war.” Twilight was the first to speak. “I found that world exactly, and I suppose as soon as we get there, we can sign a peace treaty.”

“I suppose so.” Ignatius spoke.

“The war was put to a standstill, a ceasefire; and like that all the Kagens and Riftwalkers were ordered to cross the Earth, standing far enough from one but just in the horizon.” Isaac smiled walking out into the Carson City plain, a massive grid of Kagens around him, each one separated by ten or so miles. In unison they flew out into the world, some rebelled but at the end of the day they were all working together to one goal.

And across the world, in cities, on top of skyscrapers, in the darkness. Each worked together to connect themselves. The Kagens and Riftwalkers put up their hands and a red beam connected each one, energy being shared and spread out.

And the concentration of this energy was focused on one being, Bright, the shark finding his motivation to go beyond and join the races. And standing their straining under the energy of the whole world, he knew that would be something that Basil would be proud of.

“And yet here comes the moon.” Isaac stood in the center of the grid, next to him Finn and Bright, the center Kagen smiling as he stood as the focus. Above him the clouds tumbled, spreading out of their way as the first bit of atmosphere was stuck by the moon, an orange glow appeared above them. “We are dealing in minutes, how long Bright?”

“Give me a minute.” The Kagen struggled to speak as he activated his power, the red glow extending over his body. Bright put his hand into the air and smiled, taking a breath. And yet a cold wind tumbled over, Isaac held them still as the ground shook, above them a deafening tumble of a massive body.

Isaac held his hands up and screamed, the moon approaching so quickly; a massive ball of fire appearing in the sky. His powers were only adding seconds and those were seconds that were making the difference. Isaac smiled as Bright held his hand into the air.

“We are a go.” Finn yelled as he watched the Kagen Shark, he threw both of his arms down to the ground. A red flash blasting out, Isaac felt himself knocked away and so did the whole world. As the moon blasted down, a massive shifting wave being pulled across the world, letting all races escape to a new world.

The moon crashed into the Earth, instantly pieces being sent out. Flaming chunks striking the Earth, buildings crumbling. Thousand mile winds being sent out and collapsing trees, a massive wave of fire was sent out and burned the Earth, it would never be usable again. And Finn held on to Isaac as they transported, or at least he hoped.

Opening his eyes, Finn looked around. His feet were on solid ground, a sidewalk, in a city. The shark opened his mouth and escaping his mouth was a noise of joy, instantly they were transported back to Carson City. Large buildings, neon lights, out of place and theme casinos. The world seemed instantly filled with life, the shark feeling everyone else transporting as well.

“We did it Bright, we made it to the next world.” Finn spoke, his hand clasped, something was missing. Opening his hand, he tried to grasp his boyfriend’s hand, where was Isaac. “Did Isaac already run away, trying to find the Outsider base in this city?”

Finn looked around, the night was bright and the moon shined safely in the cloud ridden sky above them. The shark opened his mouth, a comment on the tip of his tongue but he couldn’t speak. Bright looked around, stepping out into the street and looking at the citizens that were transported as well.

“Some citizens managed to get knocked over here as well, some people might have been displayed. But I felt his gravity when we transported, he was pushing up the moon.” Bright explained as he walked around. “I think he might have pushed himself through the dimension shift with his powers, no ground under him.”

“But then, where is he?” Finn asked as he looked around, Barry and Ross stood there both of them knocked out on the cold hard wall. “Well at least someone managed to get back where they needed to come back to.”

“I guess so.” Bright spoke with a laugh. And then an annoyed pained sigh came out of his mouth, he put his hand on his head, like he had a headache. “We are all being summoned, peace time, I have to go my planet needs me.”

An aura flared up around Bright, his normally peaceful hair flapping around as he lifted up into the air. Finn looked and saw the appearance of a thousand or so Kagens flying out through the sky, each leaving a trail of light. He watched as Bright disappeared into the trails. The shark laughed and kicked an empty can onto the streets, before walking over to Barry and Ross.

“Sorry guys, but look like we may have finally done this.” Finn walked over to the lawn and stepped over the fence, leaning back on the house. Barry groaned and the shark laughed, putting his hand on the nanobot’s head and rubbing him.

Nanomaster Bright smiled as his body landed in the desert of Nevada and between the empty planet, and the lights of Carson City in the distance, the large buildings and shining spot lights; the shark knew that something had gone right.

“Now then my cohort where have you managed to get off to?” Asking the important question, Bright walked forward, intending to hide himself soon as to avoid some more timeline confusion. Walking forward, he wondered how Isaac did.

Opening his eyes, Isaac was in an alien world. Like a really alien world, something he had never seen before. Purple clouds spun above his head, tumbling and twisting with an energy, and he stood on a massive floating rock, an arena almost, seats set up and the section he stood in, cut off from that section.

As his mind searched for answers, Isaac looked up. A massive circle in front of him, chains idly ripped on the ground and seemingly some sort of massive transportation chain. When he saw the rock cliff, stairs seemingly carved into the side and leading up to this massive structure, a single world came to his head.

“Kagen Pantheon.” Isaac spoke the word on his mind and he felt the history in his head. His vison flared, static filling the gap between his eyes as he looked forward and it changed, dried blood now fresh; a single dragon standing before a crowd and a glowing portal. A group of what looked to be mortals stood before the dragon, Isaac guessed he was a Kagen.

“Isn’t it simple, we were once gods to the animals and the microbes of the Earth but now we are stuck in this dimension, we want freedom. We want to be the highest forms of life and we want no one to be in our way.” Dawn said as he smiled and looked around. “The Energywalkers, and you the humans have all got in the way and we want no one to challenge our power.”

Isaac watched as the vision disappeared with another touch to his head, walking forward as he looked up at the stairs. They called to him, to follow another’s journey. The shark shook his head.

“Wow that sounded really cheese and I don’t understand a lick of what he meant, still entertaining.” Isaac commented as he reached the stairs, his vision changing again, rocks fresh and not faded. A single shark climbing, no racing to the top of the stairs as if time was against him.

Turning his head and watching the dragon scream at them while Kagens in the crowd threw energy blasts like they were pies, seemed to only help with that idea. Isaac however was alone and he took his time as he climbed the stairs, taking a breath, taking his own breath; this was his choice.

“Well then, I think that if we give the Kagens what they want they might be able to accept their situation, well then they might just finally come to peace, but I think that we can do this if we try enough.” Koji clammy spoke as he turned a corner and started up the second half of the rock wall.

“Woah, Koji, wait Bright said something about this once. The Great Kagen Recombination.” Isaac reached the top of the rock stairs and it craved through the rock up into the massive pantheon like structure. His vision flared up again and he turned back, a massive streak of glowing energy figures flew past him and through the sky.

Isaac stood his breath taken away as he looked at them, they tore through the purple clouds and seemingly escaped from their prison. The shark looked, this was when the Kagens turned into their universal forms. Smiling, Isaac got the resolve to continue up the stairs and arriving at the top, he saw an old decrypt machine.

“The Final Solution, this is but my will.” Words once again felt stuffed into Isaac’s mouth, like whispers in his ear. He walked forward and in the shadow of the large gathering area, he placed his hands down onto the machine. The shark felt his hands glow with energy. “Fine then, I suppose the greatest punishment for both races would be for the other to know what it is like to be each other, so suppose they are both immortal, truly immortal, no regeneration limit, both turned into a single race based around a fake projection of a body, around a gemstone.”

Isaac laughed out as from his hands the machine started to churn again, preparing a massive wave to blast out into this timeline and change it for the better, this would be his final solution.

“The Kagens and the Energywalkers have been fighting for millions of years in millions of different dimensions and in multiple universes and if my plan works, well then maybe you will just get what you wanted.” Koji said as he pulled out two wires out and attached them to himself. Cracking his fingers he found all the energy he never released.

“Exactly Koji, the show must go on and we must improvise, but this war is your fault and you have broken my heart, so much for the hero I thought you were; now then go my energy, fix this wave!” Isaac screamed as a massive shockwave fired out, the shark laughing as he tumbled out from the machine, the wave pushing him back into a dimensional tear.

Bright flew into the sky and then as it happened a massive wave stuck his body, the shark started to tumble down to the ground. His body glowed and the shark felt himself unconstrained from this world. And all while the Kagens and Riftwalkers tumbled around him, he realized where he felt this before.

“No Isaac, you couldn’t have.” The shark continued to fly but down at his chest, a massive jutting blue diamond on his body. Two spikes stood on the points of the diamond, both a life he was. His past and his current. Putting his hands forward, he tried to fly faster but he felt limited. He had all his energy from before but he couldn’t feel it, he couldn’t use it.

Finn looked out as he was knocked by the wave, a little blue gem appearing in his hand as he stood up. The shark was knocked down to the ground and knocked up, looked up into the sky. He felt different, energy sparking from his hands as he raised his hand up and failed to do anything. HIs energy powers felt constrained, he grabbed the gem.

“What the hell did just happen, Isaac did you do this?” Finn asked as he looked to the building, a massive glowing rift appearing in the side. Isaac laughing as he rolled out into the grass. Finn watched as he looked over.

“Fine then Isaac, punish me in whatever way you see fit to.”

Nanomaster Bright smiled, and then the shockwave hit him. Instantly his body was at war. And the metal in his skin was ripped away, a thin and frail shadow being knocked into a dimensional rift. His pointed teeth, his wings being ripped away into a body of its own and disappearing into a rift.

Bright opened his eyes and a diamond, five spikes in the center. Five lives he lived trying to fix this mess. The shark walked forward, his metallic nanobot body ripped away from him; his blue skin back as the way it was. The shark fell to the ground, putting his hands into the desert sand.

“Oh, thank you Isaac, you have redeemed me.” Bright cried out, no longer cursed and his body changed. The shark threw the sand into the air and a tear ran down his eye, leaning back in the sand and giggling as everything seemed well.

And yet some Kagens and Riftwalkers remembered who they were. Fighting still occurred but Isaac had a solution for that, an Earth in the next universe over, a little place he called, Earth 264HF-4, the shark laughed explaining his solution to Finn, the shark looking down at the sapphire gem on his hand. It was strange and different.

“Maybe now if they are immortal, they will realize the futility of the fighting and being the same; well maybe peace will be established between all.” Isaac laughed as he looked around his groups, putting his arms around Finn, Barry and Ross, hugging the three tightly. “And in the end friends will be friends. And after all that has happened well, I had enough energy to perform a miracle, and out of everyone they said he deserved to come back.”

Isaac snapped his finger and a glowing body appeared on the ground in front of them. A metallic dragon, his green eyes opening, his skin blue, an innocent face in an innocent hoodie. Isaac smiled, seeing his own debt wiped from Ross as Billy appeared in front of them. Ross smiled and ran over to Billy, bending down and wrapping his arms around his husband.

“So, then I missed you so much.” Ross caught up his love, as Billy hugged him. The dragon looking over Ross’s shoulder and winking. Isaac caught it and winked back, grabbing Finn and walking away. A few of the new race, Voidwalkers, landed, Igantius and Twilight standing there, with guilty looks on their faces.

“Well I suppose that after all that has happened, this peace has happened. I suppose that maybe we could pay you guys back by giving you a wedding after all this time.” Twilight suggested as Bright landed and he nodded.

“So then do you take Finn Harris to be you lovely wedded Husband?” Barry asked, the second time seemed to be the luckily charm. Isaac smiled, looking into Finn’s eyes and seeing all that happened in the time since they met, even since the nanobots striked.

“I do.” Isaac spoke and he leaned in, kissing Finn, in the wedding hall clapping and cheering erupted. Voidwalkers and mortals scattered across the hall, peace and love had erupted out. Finn dressed in his white suit and Isaac in his black tuxedo, both turned towards the crowd.

“I now have the honor of presenting to you, Mr. and Mr. Harris!” Barry joyously yelled out as he watched the two. Isaac smiled and scoped up Finn in his hands, and bridal style started to run for their life.

The reception started immediately, Barry watched the couples around him. The nanobot felt jealous, the love song playing as everyone ate and he just stood against the pillar. Ross and Billy kissed, Finn and Isaac celebrated their new marriage, shoving some cake into the other’s face.

“Pity me, I guess I poor Barry might never find love for himself.” The Komodo Dragon undid his tie and looked around, a Voidwalker Shark walked by, a green diamond on his chest.

“Hey there, your cute, maybe we could share this dance?” The shark opened his hand and just in time, just for the story to end, Barry to his last dance. And out on the dance floor, the Komodo found a surprising connection with the Voidwalker as the two danced. “By the way, no memories of before but I suppose you can call me Green.”

Barry smiled looking at the chest of the Voidwalker, leaning in as a slow dance started, not wanting to eclipse the two real grooms. But alas, as Barry looked over to Finn and Isaac, it seemed that the gravity shark picked up his husband and make a run to the front door with his love.

“Well then I think we can dance all night.” Barry conveyed to the Voidwalker, leaning in and kissing Green. Barry smiled, at least he found someone.

Nanowalker Bright stood there, after all the time, he supposed that his story might have finally been ending. And looking at the wedding reception hall lit up with lights, he smiled. So, putting his hands forward, and with memories of Colin, Benji and even Koji, he opened a blackish void in front of him.

“To Bitforst Gate then I suppose.” Bright spoke as he walked forward, looking stoic but allowing a single tear to fall down his cheek. “Well I guess the Bright of this timeline has his own choices to make, but good game everyone.”

Bright walked forward and disappeared into the void, on the other side the empty golden gate. And quickly the universe got news of the new race, as each Kagen and Riftwalker were transformed alike.

The Sun shined down on Terraona Prime, the sand being pushed around and blown around by the wind. The sun beat down on the planet, and a war was recently ended on the world. And as the day occurred, some traders walked across the land hoping to get some water and a deal on their goods.

But in the middle of the desert a tiny light glowed, and instantly two little gems popped out. The first gem was white in the light, a fog inside and the other was like a ruby. Both of them were the same gem type but different types of gems, one of them was a Milky Quartz and the other was a Rose Quartz.

The two stones landed in the desert, and nearly instantly in the heat of the sun and the sand; they glowed. A white light was shared between them, a body forming and a hand appearing around both gems. And a body, of a dragon, no a shark, a pair of wings spreading out and a sword on the back. Two sets of guns on their waist, the glowing energy raised up and looked down at his gems.

Isaac smiled as he walked out of the wedding hall, Finn in his arms. Both of them laughed, they finally could say they were ditching their own wedding. Isaac looked at the motorcycle that it seemed was confidently placed in front of the building. A bow on the front, keys in the ignition and a single card with Bright’s name on the center.

“Well then look at this, I get my babe and I get my ride back.” Isaac spoke as he threw the bow away and climbed on, balancing himself with his powers. Turning on the bike, he smiled feeling the engine roar to life.

“I suppose so, before we go, I just want to say, I love you so much and I don’t care what happened in the other universes, you and me are going to stay together forever.” Finn spoke as Isaac smiled, leaning down both shark kissed. Finn stood up and got on the backseat, wrapping his arms around his shark and putting his head on Isaac’s shoulder.

Isaac stood silent for a second as he looked up into the sky, a million stars and a million galaxies in there for him to explore. And then looking in the mirror, he found something more amazing. Finn looked up and smiled.

“So, then I got to ask, where are we going?” Finn asked as Isaac held them still, revving the engine.

“Finn, we are doing what we deserve. We are going on an adventure, you and me, and who cares when we come back, I don’t think we’ll have to do our job for our year.” Isaac pulled his foot up and kissed Finn on the cheek, both of them laughing as they ditched their own wedding and with new rings on their fingers, drove off into the night, into their ending, the way they liked it, Finn and Isaac Harris set off into the moonlight.
