Basically book one lays the groundwork and introduces most of the characters but, as there is so much to introduce, doesn't get as deep into relationships and back story as i would like.

Oh yeah, if anyone wants a back story to absol, say so in the comments. i am waiting for at least 10-15 'say-so's' before i will write it. \*\*** i awoke feeling reinvigorated and the "creepy-voice-inside-head" was completely gone. or i think so anyway.
One Act
Other than that, this is all back story and is more or less a preface to the main story. the end is kind of rushed because i wanted to finish it and get some opinions on my writing before i commit more time to writing it.

In this section we get to see nyeusi's apartment, and get a little back story about old new york. “well, that wasn't convoluted at all," david said, sarcastically as he and nyeusi made their way up from the subway platform.

This is actually part of a back story for orion. what is a dragon? some may say it's a magical reptilian creature capable of breathing fire. some say it's a big reptilian creature that sits in a cave guarding millions of pounds of gold and silver.

#2 of animalands lore back story about two of the guardian tails supporting characters. there are millions of anthros in this world, and they all walk a different road in life. some raise a family and work steady jobs to keep them fed.
"Just the beginning" Chapter One: Pilot
This chapter is obviously titled a pilot, just because i wanted to give some back story on ty's relationship with his friends and where he lives and whatnot to not overwhelm the reader with new information every chapter, but i might just be overthinking it

If i can get myself through all these little back stories or intros or character origins, i can at least build something for them. but, for right now let's continue on with a character that truly fits with this area, mureen.
The Will of Kings - Chapter 3
This and the next chapter were supposed to be one, with this being a page or two, but having this opportunity as set, it just felt like he deserved the chance to express himself, which lead to wanting to have back-story, before things get too far.
