#3 of tropical after the near drowning of a pool guest, the two otters head back to rye's place for some relaxation. a teasing moment between them threatens rye's relaxation however. "you were amazing," cloud again complimented rye on his save.

"i will, i will," cloud sobbed and threw himself at rye. rye hugged cloud and rested his head on top of cloud's, ignoring the tears that fell onto cloud. cloud's tears drenched rye's shirt and fur. "i love you," rye said weeping.

"we need to get you dressed," cloud said, grabbing rye's shirt and pulling it over his head. "alright, i'll play along," rye muttered. cloud maneuvered behind rye and put his paws around rye's waist, unbuttoning his pants. "alright what's going on?"

"okay," rye muttered. "i'll see you in government," cloud said and then kissed rye lightly on the lips before he went into the hallway. before rye could recover from the kiss, he heard ariel scream his name. "rye! rye, come here!"

rye carefully laid cloud in the back seat and rye lied next to him as patrick started to drive down the road toward rye's home, where he has hasn't been in months.
