Star Wander: The First Generation
The race is falcats. they are a flying cat/falcon like race and i might post some screan caps of them and the ship if this generates intrest. so yah this is the story of the first falcat in space, captain black pelt.

Pressure built just above her spine and then the feeling of release when a fibrous structure full of nerves, arteries, and veins jutted from her body as the iconic falcate dorsal fin grew proudly above her back.
