#4 of life
there's a cold dark corner
in the back of my room,
it speaks to me
and says i'm coming for you.
as i lie on my bed
in the fetal position,
my eyes are closed
hoping and wishing.

The door was sort of strange as well, it was a dark, crimson red wood with gold embroided writing. the wood around it, forming the doorway, was a bright pinkish white, which was out of contrast compared to the dark sorroundings.
Dark
darkness... my old friend
darkness... an old friend.
you have come close to making me end my misery.
but the light has found me, i have friends, i have family.
but even then, you still make an appearence.
Dark, Miserable
In the shadows what lurks?
If hates when the light brursts?
In the light what shines?
Does it gleam with all the brights?
When togeter what do they make?
They make the sunrise and sunset.

darkness inside me,
constantly fighting,
barely winning,
this fight is always,
happening silently.

the darkness always comes,
it's call to me so strong.

i dance about,
for i know that i belong.

I feel a darkness inside
it wants an internal homicide
of all the good that can reside
to create a downward slide
it wants an internal war
that has been fought before
all trapped behind a strong door
it is too much to ignore.

Poem
the dark in your heart
calls out to my dark
matching halves of an unfinished fairytale
the hush that stretches
between our fingertips
the mingled breaths
between our lips
the dark in you
that cries out for me
the pain that leaves you lightless

It rears its head of hollow guilt,
At the slightest provocation,
How can I fight this morbid demon,
From my heart does stir.
It claws my heart and shreds my soul,
To no one can I turn,
Because with me the demon comes,
To...
Depressing
darkness surrounds
apathy abounds
life holds no bright light
nothing to shine in this endless night.
i watch the world turn,
watch the waves churn
and crash with unbridled force
to take everything and leave no remorse.
