I've recently completed a follow up story as a spiritual successor to this one called 'season's front' in which the family dynamic has shifted to strangers that have an understanding of their role in the world.
Flashy's coincidence, part 1
This is a follow-up story, and continues in some day! :) flashy is a green dog with some flashy markings. flashy is 16 years old, and wants to found someone, to share tenderness. he's walking on a street in a large city, and looks around.

I'd do the follow up stories for magenta or the series of adventures for benayle's children before i did that one. the publisher did put out a call for submission to write it, but no one was hired. plushfur is a term of endearment similar to honey.
Epilogue
I will be writing a follow up story to this one and if you want my honest opinion, this is the best use of my time i can think of. you all have made me a better writer and i hope you'll keep reading what i write in the future.
