#3 of black petals here is chapter 2, in which shadow is at the receiving end of a hammer and amy is at the receiving end of, well, a reality check. now, this chapter is not kind to miss rose. this is because shadow is not an immediately kind person.

#2 of black petals fresh from her heart-breaking revelation, amy stumbles into soleanna's forests, and runs into the last person she'd want to see. the reason i'm writing this is to explore venues of character growth for amy, and for shadow, as well.

#6 of black petals the training continues, with shadow giving amy as little quarter as needed. take note that amy's training is going to last a good deal of time. one can't expect to be stronger after just a few days or a few weeks.
