black nights - this is a short story i wrote in between classes and as such is not polished out as well as i would have liked it to be.

What if...
black night on his way." soft crackles of lightning sounded underlying his voice before he stepped to the edge of the cloud he was standing on. the draolf looking down, his sight filled with jets careening through the sky.
Mars Sleeps
Time endures the long black night, sirens doppler effect... flashes of white and blue, split the dark!... scattering of refuse, clouds of dust, then fades to nothing... bottle shatters, baby cries, dust devils dance, wind chime's...

My cabin glows, a candle in the pitch-black night, leaking into nature. again, i lay by the busy hearth, this time on my back, freshly added logs disintegrating inside. i lay with my hands behind my head, watching the spectacular recital of the flames.

Nature did not care whether the contrast of white stars on a black night were too dark or the colors of the earth robed in green and decorated with flowers of many colors were shining too brightly or that a singular, long-since-tamed wolf was out living on
