Healing
Good lord, it feels like it has been absolutely forever since I posted anything. Oh well, here's a snippet of something in-progress and as-of-yet very unfinished. I don't write as much as I used to, but I hope I haven't gotten rusty!
Enjoy, and please tell me what you think.
Also, Dunkas... what a terrible name.

*Singing*
Somebody was singing, it was only softly at first, but then the song seemed to grow louder over time. The voice was always the some though, and despite not knowing who it could belong to there was a sense of familiarity to both the voice and the song. As more time passed the singing grew calmer and the voice more confident. And then there was a moment when everything seemed to simply fade away like the mist on the mountains evaporating to leave an open blue sky.
That was when Gray opened his eyes.
"Well, good morning," a familiar and yet unknown voice said as soon as Gray opened his eyes. "I was expecting that you would wake soon, but I didn't realize it would be so soon after the accident."
"Wha..." Gray paused at the sound of his own voice. It sounded off somehow. Rougher... deeper than he imagined he should sound. And there was a gravel to his voice that seemed foreign to his ears. "An accident?" Gray said in his own unfamiliar voice. "What... what happened?"
Gray tried to sit up, but two strong hands on his chest pushed him back down. "You don't remember anything then?"
The hands on Gray's chest seemed so small. He couldn't help but to snort softly when he looked at them. "You're hands are so small."
"No, you're just a really big guy..."
"I'm not any bigger than..." Gray turned to look at the owner of the hands and his words caught in his throat. The sight that greeted him wasn't what Gray had been expecting. He had thought he would find a stern man sitting beside him, but what he saw instead was a very slender and almost childish face framed by the silkiest golden hair that Gray had ever seen. He couldn't help but to reach out towards that face only to freeze when his own hand came into view. "What is...?"
The sight of his hand reaching out honestly gave Gray such a start that he didn't quite know what to do when he saw himself. For sure the hand he saw before him was not the one he remembered having before... before... well before whenever he last remembered himself. No, this hand was that of some sort of gray-fleshed monster. Stone-grey scales grew in small clusters from the hideous flesh of the outstretched hand. The scales were more plentiful on the back of the hand where they seemed to morph into spine-like pointed barbs that mimicked the look of hair. From the back of the hand to the top of the arm attached to it the spiny hair-like growth continued until it was lost to Gray's own vision. It was right about at that moment that the soft touch of the two hands returned. This time they were on Gray's own monstrous hand. "You look scared."
"I... I look..."
"I told you that you were a big guy." The golden-haired youth said softly as a gentle smile grew on his face. The feel of those hands on Gray's made him look back at his own hand as he relaxed and let his monstrous limb drop to the cloth of the bed he was laying on. For a moment Gray didn't say anything. He knew he must be covered with the strange grey scales and the hairy spines. He could feel his own body catching on the very fabric of the bed which supported him. No doubt the cloth mattress below him would need to be replaced after he got up. The queerest sensation though came from what felt like a third leg of sorts resting between his other two. All at once Gray was possessed with a sudden urge to get up and out of the bed.
"Whoa there!" The golden haired youth said as he held Gray down again and somehow kept him from getting up.
This time when Gray turned to look at the youth his face was neither surprised nor happy. A low and very unfriendly sound, almost like when a dog snarls at a man, issued from Gray's throat as his felt his chest expand slightly and his vision began to grow slightly hazy. A low rumbling sound, like rocks falling down a cliff, began to grow in Gray's chest as he felt his whole body flex and his muscles began to click on one by one. Then, in one solid motion, Gray exploded up and out of the cloth that had covered him.
Time seemed to almost slow as the broiling rage Gray felt peaked and he felt himself sailing up and out of the bed. Then his feet, well they felt more like hands with three toes instead of real feet, touched the floor and Gray felt ever spiny hair-like protrusion on his body stand up. The rumbling in his chest grew louder and louder as the anger Gray felt reached the point of boiling over. Gray instinctually arched his shoulders and flexed his back muscles expanding his frame as he stood up on the tips of his three-toed feet and felt all his rage building up to a crescendo.
A plume of black smoke puffed out of Gray's forward-pointing nostrils as his eyes glazed over with rage. He was so confused, so angry, so frustrated at feeling more like a monster than a man, but at that moment everything seemed to pool up inside him and when Gray opened his almost snout-like mouth all that rage and anger exploded outwards in a roar the likes of which any dragon would have been proud of.
The sound of Gray's roar filled the small room he was in and washed over the young man who had been sitting beside him only a moment ago. As upset as Gray was he couldn't help but to feel the cathartic relief of letting all that frustration out. It wasn't until the last of his terrifying roar was let loose that Gray finally felt relief. He felt a queer full-body flexing sensation travel from the tip of his flat nose all the way down to his muscular toes. If Gray could have seen himself he would have noticed how very dog-like he looked as he shook off his frustration and his body relaxed somewhat.
As terrifying as he must have looked though the golden-haired youth remained seated beside the bed. It was a different sound that caught Gray's attention next. The sound of booted feet pounding frantically up a nearby flight of stairs. Then the door to the bedroom burst open and a man who was somewhat similar to Gray in shape and size burst into the room. "Master Corbin!" The man shouted as he exploded into the room with a knife in his hand.
Gray felt the low growl in his chest return as he watched the man's eyes widen at the sight of Gray standing beside the shredded remains of the bed. "Dunkas!" The youth beside the bed shouted and held his hands up.
"Get back you gray-scaled spiny monster!" Dunkas shouted as he brandished the blade at Gray who recoiled slightly from the pointed weapon.
"Dunkas don't threaten him..." Corbin, for that was most likely the young man's name, said wearily. "He might not look it, but he's still very weak from his time spent sleeping."
Gray felt a strange, almost animal-like fear when he looked at the blade in the large man's hands. And yet his own mind knew he must have seen countless blades just like this one in his lifetime. Why would he be afraid of a simple human weapon like this? He was more than strong enough to defend himself against a mere human.
"M'lord," Dunkas said as he lowered his blade slightly. "I must ask that you remember that you're dealing with a monster and not a person. There's likely not a civilized thought between this beast's two horns."
Gray felt his anger return when he heard those words. His chest expanded again and a disgruntled snort sent a puff of black smoke into the air. "A monster eh?" Gray said in his low, growly voice. "Why don't you try me out then big guy?"
Dunkas was either too surprised or too unaccustomed to dealing with monsters to anticipate what happened next. Gray let out a low snarling bark as he lowered his bulky, muscular body slightly and practically pounced on the large human. The two of them went sailing through the room back towards the door that Dunkas had arrived through. Thankfully for Dunkas they landed with Gray on his back, but the two didn't stay that way for long. For what felt like the first time in forever Gray's two huge, monstrous hands were locked against the grip of another fighter. The two of them rolled for another few feet before Dunkas found himself below his spiny gray-scaled opponent.
Gray, who was already naked, couldn't have known what he looked like as he wrestled with the large male below him. And Dunkas, who was already a tall and naturally muscular male, couldn't help but to admire the bulging gray muscles of the part-dragon-man atop him. Also, there was something about Gray that just oozed masculinity and strength. It wasn't often that Dunkas met a match for his strength, but it was even rarer that a man proved to be stronger.
As Gray slowly pushed Dunkas' arms towards the floor their bodies pressed tightly against one another and Gray felt the strangest bulge pressing against his naked torso. A plume of arousal wafted off the male below Gray causing a flurry of strange emotions to well up in the part-dragon's chest. In his moment of confusion Dunkas took charge of the situation and pulled Gray with him as they rolled together and ended up with the human on top, but this time when Dunkas rolled onto Gray the human pushed his hardened manhood against the dragon's waist. Something strange inside Gray snapped as he felt the weirdest sort of arousal begin to grow between his legs.
Until now Gray hadn't really looked at or even acknowledged his own sexual setup. The feeling of blood rushing to his nether region was enough to cause the part-dragon to weaken enough that Dunkas could continue to mount him. The human in question seemed to be just as lost in his own growing arousal as the pheromones coming from the part-dragon urged him to keep humping Gray's muscular torso.
The growing sexual tension between the two large males snapped when the sound of somebody falling out of a chair distracted Dunkas from humping Gray's torso. The large human shook his head as he rolled away from Gray and then quickly stood up. From his perspective below the man Gray got a good look at the very large bulge that was snaking down the pant-leg of the man who had just been on top of him. "Master Corbin!" Dunkas seemed alarmed when he noticed the golden-haired youth was missing from his seat. Concern quickly overcame his arousal as Dunkas ran to the smaller male's aid and then lifted him up off the floor and into his arms.
Gray was momentarily distracted by his own torso and the sight of his arousal. Something very unnatural was protruding from an engorged slit that had opened up between his legs. Gray fled from the two humans as he felt his arousal growing stronger and his sex began to bulge larger.
While Dunkas cared for his fallen master Gray fought through his own battle with himself. From the opposite side of the room Gray rose from his knees and struggled to stand. A glance down at his waist proved that he had indeed become quite aroused, but unlike Dunkas Gray's arousal was much harder to hide. The space between Gray's legs had opened wider as not one but two large, almost muscular members emerged from within. The tops of the fleshy gray cocks were spade-shaped and pointed with rough ridges forming the base of the cock-heads. As Gray fought to control his arousal he swore he could feel the pressure in his sexual orifice growing. It was almost as if there was far more to the two cock-like prehensile muscles than what was showing at the moment.
Fighting through his own arousal meant ignoring the fact that Gray could still smell Dunkas' sweat on his own scaled hide. The scent of the aroused human male made Gray's sex pulse again as it grew moist. "Gotta... focus..." Gray growled to himself and did his best to ignore the other man's scent.
After a while Gray felt his twin cocks begin to pull back into his sex. Then the strange opening began to shrink back down until it was naught but a barely-noticeable slit again. By then Gray had become more aware of the other two males in the room, but from the sounds they made watching Gray neither seemed interested in disturbing him.
"Ah, Dragon Man?" Dunkas called out hesitantly. "I... I know you must be a little confused, but I promise my master and I mean you no harm."
"I know this," Gray said as he pushed away from the wall and turned to look at the two of them. It was evident right away that there was something quite wrong with Corbin's legs. Gray noted the way Dunkas keeled beside the bed as if it were a practiced way to sit with one hand helping Corbin stay upright and the other balancing his own body against the wooden frame. "I owe you both an apology. I am both a monster and a man, but I fear that today you have seen far more of the monster than the man who I once was."
"I told you he wasn't a mindless beast." Corbin said excitedly and smiled at both Dunkas and Gray. "I was so hoping you could tell us something about yourself, anything you can remember at all would be fascinating!"
"Well," Gray said as he took a step towards the two humans and held his hands up to gesture that he meant no harm. "What would you like to know first?"
