I'm taking a shower in my bathroom, to get rid of all the sweat I got from training with Fox, he taught me some hand-to-hand combat, how to use a few guns properly and how to run without quickly exhausting myself.

I think 'Life in the military I guess.' as I turn off the water, I get out of the shower, I grab a nearby towal, I dry myself off and I hear a beeping noise.

I go over to a nearby white box looking thing with rounded corners, about the size of a large microwave and with a digital touch screen to control it. Fox showed me how to use after we were done training, it's the Cornerian version to a washer and dryer, Fox said it uses a type of laser technology to clean and freashen cloaths. Quite a usefull tech from a being of Earth's perspective.

I open the top of the machine like a cooler, I take my cloaths out, I put the towal in the machine, I close the machine, I set it to clean. it starts to clean the towal, I put my cloaths on and I leave the bathroom.

I hear a knock at the door and I say "Come in."

The door opens and Falco enters the room.

I say "Hi Falco." with a light smile.

Falco says "Hey kid, looks like you're settling in just fine."

I say "Honestly I'm trying, I keep forgeting I'm on a startship." with excitment at the end.

Falco says "You sound like you've achevied a dream. Why is that?"

I say "As you know my race is nowhere near as advanced as you or those in this system when it comes to space travel. So starships are a dream that most of us share and they are a great topic, plus they are common in science fiction. We dream of flying amongst the stars and exploring other worlds." with a light smile.

Falco says "Sounds like you have the ambition and you want to do it, you just lack the tech."

I say "Well there's that reason and our leaders lack that ambition, so they focus on draining Earth until there's nothing left. If we finally do leave Earth, it'll be just to find new reasources."

Falco says "That does seem to be it. But anyway I'm here to let you know we'll be landing on Corneria soon, I recommend you wear your suit in case someone gets any ideas."

I nod and I say "Okay, I will." with a light smile.

Falco says "As soon as your able, come to the bridge." and he leaves.

I think 'Not very sociable.' and I begin to put on the suit.

I begin to think of what I've learned and experienced so far in the Lylat system. It's actually interesting, highly advanced anthromorphic beings with starships in a system where dinosaurs exist, this is going to be cool.

I finish putting on the suit, I grab the helmet and I leave the room. Soon I make it to the bridge and I see everyone else already there.

Krystal looks at me and she says "Hi Adam." with a light smile.

I say "Hi Krystal." with a light smile, as I approach her and the others.

Krystal says "As you know we'll be landing on Corneria soon, since they along with practically everyone else doesn't know who you are or what you are, be ready for some stares." still lightly smiling.

I say "That's understandable, it's a first contact situation."

Fox says "Plus expect military being around because of that."

I say "That's normal Fox."

Rob says "We are beginning decent, we'll be arriving at the main landing area in a few moments."

I look straight out of the bridge view, I see a planet that looks alot like Earth, there's a massive looking space station with white starships forming a protective blockade in front of the planet. I see that the Great Fox goes into the atmosphere which is turning out to be going smoothly, soon we enter and exit the cloud cover and I see this cool looking city, surrounded by grassland and a couple highway looking structures leading out.

Fox says "Welcome to Corneria, Adam." with a light smile.

I take a few steps closer to the bridge view window and I say "Incredible." in awe.

Rob says "We will be landing in a few minutes."

Fox says "Krystal, Falco and I will be your escorts, no one will try anything on you while we're around."

Krystal says "But anyway, we should get ready for when we land."

Fox says "Agreed.", he looks at me and he says "Ready for your debut?" with a crack smile.

I nod and I say "You bet." with an enthusiastic smile.

Fox says "Okay, let's head out." still with a crack smile.

Fox, Krystal, Falco and I leave the bridge, we get into the elevator, the elevator heads down, it soon stops, the doors open, we head down a few hallways and end up in this room that looks like it's used for loading or something.

I hear some loud mechanical sounds, suddenly everything rocks, I lose my balance, I feel someone catch me, I look up and I see Krystal.

Krystal says "I think we should have warned you about that." with a light smile.

I say "That's quite okay, but thank you Krystal." with a light smile as I regain my balance.

Krystal says "Your welcome." still lightly smiling.

The floor begins to move down at an angle in front of me with sunlight shining through. The ramp stops, the three team members begin to head out and I follow their lead. We exit the Great Fox, the area looks like a big runway with some of the same white starships around along with a few others. There's actually a huge crowd of anthromorphic people, with some looking like media personnel.

Krystal whispers "Stick close."

We furthur leave the Great Fox with the media focusing on me like how the media on earth would over a hot topic.

Fox says "You drew quite a crowd."

I say "Correction, they drew themselves."

We continue to walk, the media is flashing their cameras and some of the reporters are trying to push through the crowds.

Think 'Huh, even here the media acts like it wants to get trampled on.'

Three individuals are walking towards us, one of them is Pepper and to his left and right are armed guards.

The two groups get close and Pepper says "Welcome to Corneria, Adam."

I say "Thank you sir."

Pepper says "We have much to talk about, but first let's get to headquarters."

I nod and the two groups move as one, I'm trying to hide how nervous I am, but it's kinda hard with cameras flashing paparazzi talking. I feel my right hand being touched, I glance, I see it's being held by Krystal's left hand, I glance up at her and she's glancing at me with a light smile.

I remember that Krystal is a telepath and I think 'Thank you Krystal.' with a light smile.

Krystal lightly nods and her light smile brightens a bit.

We get to what looks like some kind of v.t.o.l., we get in it, one of the guards closes the door to it and I feel it take off.

Pepper says "This has been popping up since we decided to announce that you were coming here. Sorry for the commotion out of this."

I say "It's not a problem, I just don't want them close."

Pepper says "We'll make sure they wont be."

Fox says "Though you will need an armed escort if we aren't around."

I say "Armed escort? Seems kind of much, even in a first contact situation. But I wont argue with you over it."

Krystal says "What exactly is a first contact situation?" with a curious look.

I say "It's a first meeting between races."

Pepper says "But anyway, we're landing now."

I feel the v.t.o.l. land, the door opens, we get out of the v.t.o.l. and we enter this massive building. After sometime we come to this office looking room and Pepper takes a seat at the desk.

Pepper says "Now, onto our discussion. I have read the reports that Fox and his team have given me. But I have some questions for you."

pepper's questions are generic one's, first my name, age, gender, birth date and after that things on the planet I'm from, environment, atmosphere, wildlife and our technology.

Pepper says "Okay, I'll be back in a few minutes." as he gets up from his desk.

I say "If you don't mind me asking sir. What is all of this for?" with a curious look.

Pepper says "The first questions were for identification, but all were for our records. I'll be back with your identification papers." and he leaves the room.

Krystal says "So your nineteen years old?" with a curious look.

I say "Yup, that's how old I am. Why?" both confused and curious.

Krystal says "Nothing, it's just we were uncertain how old you were."

Fox says "But still, your definitely old enough to be in the Cornerian army."

Falco says "I doubt they'll let him join Fox, he is the only one of his kind here."

Fox says "I'm just saying."

Krystal says "They allowed me to join."

Fox says "That's a bit different. Yes you are the sole survivor of your homeworld, but you are a fox, so you fall maybe into a grey area."

I glance at Krystal and I think 'Wait, her planet was destroyed? So since she's the only one left... no. If I bring it up she could get mad or something. But I wonder what her culture was like.' trying to keep my thoughts concealed as deep a thought as possible.

Krystal glances at me with the look that means she heard something.

I think 'Oh no!' with nervousness to the thought.

Pepper comes back in, with what looks like some documents and some kind of pad looking thing, he sits at his desk, he puts the stuff on his desk and he says "We're almost done. I need you to sign some of these and the finalization of an i.d. card for you."

I say "Okay." with a nod.

I sign a few documents, the pad takes my thumb print and even my blood type and photo and an i.d. card comes out of the pad.

Pepper takes the card, he holds it out to me and he says "Congrats you are now a citizen of this planet. It wont go into full effect until two weeks from now though."

I say "thanks Pepper." as I take the card with a light smile.

Pepper says "Your welcome.", he looks at Krystal and he says "Krystal, would you mind being Adam's escort, for now at least?"

Krystal says "I don't mind at all."

Pepper nods and he says "Give Adam a tour, he could use the fresh air." with a chuckle.

Krystal says "Good idea." with a light smile.

Pepper says "As for Fox and Falco, you two will stay for a briefing and after that they'll inform you Krystal as well as the rest of Star Fox."

The members of Star Fox with me nod, Krystal taps my shoulder and we both leave the room as I put my i.d. card in one of my external pockets. We head down the halls with people looking and starring at me. I feel so uncomfortable That I just wanna put on my suits helmet, like I did in school where I wore clothing with hoodies.

I hear Krystal say "It's okay Adam.", I look at her and she's looking at me with a reassuring smile.

Krystal says "Just pretend it's only you and me here." still reassuringly smiling.

I nod and I say "T-Thanks." still feeling uncomfortable.

Krystal says "Would holding my hand help?" with a curious smile.

I say "Yes, it would."

I feel Krystal clutch my right hand with her left and I focus my attention on walking down the hallway. We soon make it outside, the whole area is literally green, wide open spaces, aside from a few benches, a few road and a handful of buildings, it's like being in a meadow.

Krystal says "Okay, I know I was suppose to give you a tour, but I figured we'd just get some air. Is that okay?" with a curious smile.

I say "It sure is." with a smile.

Krystal says "Okay, let's go find a place to sit and relax." with a smile.
