I woke crying the next morning. My eyes were stinging and the area underneath my head was soaked from my tears.

"Mom,Dad,I said whimpering,"I love you."

Adelind began to lick the top of my head,"Morning my boy",she said softly as she place a wing over me and continued to lick the top of my head.

"Are you going to be okay?"Adelind asked with concern in her voice.

"Yeah",I said,"yeah I'll be okay."

The door clicked open and Nesenth walked din with the kids,I could tell they'd been crying too. They walked over and balled up beside me and I lay my wing over them.

"I heard what happened,Nesenth said,"I'm so,so sorry guys."

"Thank's Nesenth,"Adelind replied.

"If it makes you feel any better,Nesenth said,I know what it feels like to have your parents taken from you."

"Dad,Tyson asked,"can we go home after you kill Lung?"

I smiled at my son's comment.

"Yes son,I replied licking him,"we are going home after I kill Lung."

"Make it painful Dad,"Ace replied,"I wanna see him squirm and beg for mercy."

I laughed a bit,lifting the mood of the room,it was comforting to know that my kids supported me.

"I had breakfast brought to my room at the hatchery",Nesenth said,"it's big enough to hold all of us and the other's are already there."

I turned to Adelind,"I could go for something to eat right about now."

"Yeah,Adelind said kissing me on the forehead,"I could too."

"Kids,I said,go with Nesenth and give your Mom and Dad sometime to clean up."

"Okay Dad,they said standing up.

"Oh and guys?" I said causing them to turn around.

"If you start trouble your Mom and I don't know you."

My kids laughed as the left with Nesenth. Adelind and I showered off and then walked down to the hatchery. It was a large,tan brick building with a hot feel to it. When we walked inside,my heart was instantly lifted. There were cubs laughing and running all over the place,sparring with each other as they went. There were a few cubs,not even a week old,sleeping on top of one another in the corner,they looked happy,smiles covering their muzzles as they slept. In the back of the hatchery,was a small,dome shaped structure that held the eggs.

Adelind leaned against me lovingly,"I always love coming here."

I nuzzled her,"I do too."

Nesenth walked out of the back room.

"Starting to think you weren't going to show,he said smiling,"follow me."

Nesenth lead us into a room adjacent to the hatchery. As we entered,the smell of freshly cooked meat hit my snout and made my mouth water,lifting my mood even more.

"You got the best job on base you know that?" I said smiling as we lay down.

"Sure do",Nesenth replied,"some of the older kids can give me hell sometimes,but I wouldn't trade it for anything."

As we began to eat,Shadow turned to me.

"Are you going to be okay Tyro?",he asked concerned,"were all here for you and Adelind if you need us."

"Yeah",Mnerloth said,"if you guys need something,just ask."

"Thank's guys",I replied,"but we'll be fine."

"Good to hear",Taro said smiling.

Breakfast was full of lively chatter as it always was. I was glad to have friends to help me through this. I was still broken and grieving on the inside,you could see it in my eyes,and Adelind's too. But you know what? All of our friends had stories to tell that helped me to feel just a little better Taro and Faline about the day they were drafted into Project Draco,Nina the day her father Firedrake died,Val,Vez,Ator and Rolland the day they were kidnapped and Shadow,the day he was separated from Taro. That day they were in Afghanistan,Taro had chased his former friend Tyson in to a cave where they fought it out,Taro was left with a nearly fatal throat wound. After he had passed out,Shadow had entered the cave and found Hunter crouched over him. Shadow had pulled his tags from around his neck and found Faline's as well.

"I was completely broken,Shadow said,"I could have just laid down and died right there,If it hadn't been for Nina and hunter,I probably would have."

"Your not,going to kill me,are you?" Tyson asked genuinely scared.

"No Tyse,Shadow said,were not going to kill you."

Taro smirked,"Unless you give us a reason."

Faline thumped her mate on the head,"Your a jerk,you know that right?"

Taro laughed,"I was just joking."

Faline smiled and leaned on him,"Your full of it."

Nesenth laughed,"Dad want's to see you guys,he said it was urgent."

"You know there is something just not right about a 1,450 pound dragon calling a human "Dad",Syralth cracked.

"Thought it was a little weird myself at first,"Nesenth said,"but in time,it all worked out."

"Speaking of time",Tess replied,"did the results come back yet?"

Nesenth turned to Tess and smiled,"It's still a little early,he replied,but from what I could see,there's just one."

"Care to clue us in?",Nina asked tiliting her head to one side.

Wide smiles crossed Syralth and Tesselth's muzzles.

"I'm pregnant",Tess said. Smiles crossed my friends,human and dragon alike.

"HA",I roared with a smile,"I wondered how long it would be!"

"Congradulation's guys",Taro said smiling.

"Do you have names yet?" Adelind asked leaning on my side.

"Not yet",Tess said,"like he said,it's still to early to tell."

We talked for around a half hour and then went to see Nolan. He looked stressed,he was pacing up and down the room with his hands behind his back.

"Dad",Nesenth said,"there here."

"Sir,Shadow said,what did you need us for?"

Nolan quickly ushered everyone out of the room and locked the door before turning back to us. We were all confused,Nolan was always so laid back,to see him so locked up was a little frightening.

"Please sit guys",he said huffing.

We found comfortable spots to lay as Nolan began to pace once again.

"Dad please",Nesenth said,"your going to give yourself a stroke."

Nolan paced a bit more and then turned to us.

"We have nothing on Wei",He said,"all of Toro's intel was solid,but the lead he had on Wei lead to a dead end."

"Crap",Taro said.

"We need to figure him out,I replied,"but we can't do that without getting inside his head."

Quiet fell over the room,we all knew that was near impossible to do.

"Dad",Nesenth said,"you'll have to come clean if we are to have any chance of stopping Wei."

"Come clean about what?",Taro asked looking at Nolan.

"Now that i think about Nina said,I heared you call him Alex,and I heard him call you Jack?"

Nolan huffed,"I knew I'd have to come clean at some point,so I'll do it now,I'm Wei's older brother,Nolan replied.

A confused look came over Taro's face.

"How is that even possible?"Taro asked.

"Well,Nolan began siting down and placing his back to the wall,"the year was 1943." "My name was Jack Perez."
