I woke with a yawn the next morning. Adelind was laying beside me watching the kids play. I lay my head over her back.

"Morning my boy",she said licking me across the snout. I returned her lick,"Morning to you too."

"Did you sleep well?" She asked softly.

"Course I did,"I said licking her again.

I glanced at the kids,it made me happy to see them all playing with each other. After a few minutes of watching them play,Adelind stood and pushed me onto my back,laying acorss my chest and taking both my forepaws in her grasp,a wide smile was covering her muzzle.

"I love you so much",she said softly.

"I love you too,"I said smiling and pulling her into a kiss.

After pulling back,Adelind lay her head under my muzzle.

"I can't wait to go home,she said softly.

"Being able to see Firecalw,my Mom and Dad,and all of our friends again."

"Nither can I",I replied.

As we kissed again,the door clicked open,Shadow and Nina were standing there with the little Taro hiding behind his mother's leg.

"What did I tell you about the spying? I asked in a low voice.

"Yeah yeah",Shadow replied smiling,"let's go eat."

Adelind rolled off me and we stood and walked down to the mess hall. When we got there,the rest of our friends greeted us. Our meals were full of lively chatter,as they always were. As we finished eating,Hudson walked in.

"Guys,he said,"Nolan wants us at the command tent."

"Why?" Sozenn asked.

"He didn't say Sozenn,Hudson replied,"but it's probably a mission."

We stood and walked with Hudson to the HQ. Nolan was waiting for us in the HQ room. The room was bustling with soldiers and intelligence officer's gathered around hologram's and computers. Some of the people were almost asleep while other's looked like they had a little to much coffee. Nolan led us into th back room with a large hologram emitter in the back room.

"Guys",Nolan said,"Toro sang like a bird,he gave us information about Draco dragon movment,supply transfers and even...

"General Nolan sir,A red and yellow Anthro called.

"Yes Tech Sargent Calderon?" Nolan replied.

"There's an incoming message from an encrypted source."

Nolan's smile dropped.

"What channel?"

"Channel one sir!"

"That's not possible",Nolan replied,"even the US military can't hack that channel." Are you sure your reading it right?"

"Yes s.." The Anthro was interupted when the lights in the room went out. A TV behind us came on.

"Well,well,Lung Wei said,"if it isn't the walking dead."

Nolan stared daggers at the screen.

"Tyro,Adelind,Wei said darkly,"I be live you know these dragons?"

Wei stepped aside and my heart stopped at what I saw. My parents,along with Adelind's,were chaind to the floor and muzzled,looks of pure fear in their eyes.

"If you touch them,"I snarled,"I'll find you,and I will kill you."

Wei laughed and walked over to my Dad,stomping on his snout,I could hear the bones in his jaw break from the force.

"I'll kill you for that!" I screamed.

Wei only laughed as he got off my Dad's muzzle and walked around to his back and sank his claws into his wings. Wei began to drag his claws across my father's wings,tearing them off and throwing them aside.

"I'M GOING TO TEAR YOU APART FOR THAT!" I roared as loud a I could.

"Do we have any teams in that area?!" Nolan shouted.

"It doesn't matter if we do",a human shouted back,"all of our equipment is dead!"

Wei continued to torture my Dad,taking his horns in his grip and snapping them off like they were nothing. My Dad was leting off agonized,muffled screams,tears of pain and fear were rolling down his muzzle.

"Alex please stop,"Nolan begged,"I know this isn't you!"

Wei only laughed. He went around and looked my Dad in the eye.

"I'm to kill your son Tanulth",he said darkly,"his mate,his children,all of them,there all going to burn!"

He stomped on my Dad's left fore paw,I heard it shatter from the force. Wei repeated this on all of my Dad's legs,the sound of his bone's breaking echoed in my ears. Wei took one of my Dad's claws and pulled,it came out with a loud pop and my Dad let out an agonized howl.

"Music to my ears",Wei stated,"one down,fifteen more to go!"

One by one,Wei pulled my Dad's claws out. Each time one came out,he would let out agonized yowls.

"PLEASE LET THEM LIVE!" I cried,"PLEASE!"

Wei laughed as he walked around to my Dad's back and clamped his jaws down on his neck,lifting him up into the air.

"DAD!!"I screamed.

Dad's eyes were full of fear,he was begging for help,but he knew it wasn't coming. Lung sank his claws into my father's chest and began to pull,tearing his chest to shreds before dropping him. Dad lay at Wei's paws,coughing and spitting up blood,tears of fear and agony rolling down his muzzle.

Wei laughed darkly,"I'll fuckin break you down to dust Tyro,Wei said,"I'll take everything you've ever loved and cared about away from you."

Wei picked up my Dad by the back of his neck once again and savagely began to shake him until a loud snap echoed through the TV set. Wei dropped my father's lifeless body to the ground and spat on him. I could feel my heart beating faster and faster.

"Now for your mother!" Wei said smiling.

"GET A FUCKING TEAM IN THERE NOW!" Nolan screamed."

We can't sir,our equipment is dead,we have no way of dialing out!"

"Turn and face the screen Jack",Wei said,"you don't wan to miss this!"

"Oh and Tyro,Wei said with a dark,evil smile,"did your mother tell you your going to be an older brother?"

My heart stopped as Wei began to tear my Mom's wings from her body. Her agonized screams echoed in my head as I couldn't hold back my tears any longer. I began to ball,like I was a new born. I wanted to wake up from this nightmare,I wanted to look away from the screen and my mother's agony,but I couldn't. After Wei had ripped a chunk of my mother's wing off he looked up.

"I think I'm going to start with crushing her,breaking every bone in her body one by one then I'm going to pull her claws from her,then her teeth,the her horns,then I'm going to rip her open to let her suffer a horrible death!"

The look in my mother's eyes was that of pain,fear and helplessness. There was no stopping Wei from killing her,he could see it,I could see it,Mom could see it,and my friends could see it. Wei started by crushing Mom's tail. Bending small sections up and down until the bones snapped,he worked all the way up her tail,and then broke her hind legs.

"Were not done yet!"

Wei sated with a smile as he grabbed my Mom's wing and slammed his paw down onto it,the bone gave no fight as it broke under Wei's paw. He hen grabbed the shattered section and sank his claws into it,tearing Mom's wing from her body and throwing it into the corner. He repeated himself on the other wing and then began braking her bones once again. The snaps and cracks filled my ears and sent chills up my spine.

"Now for the fun part!" Wei laughed.

For the first time,I noticed Wei was wearing a KC-90 shotgun vest. Wei rolled my mother onto her back and put two rounds into her abdomen,leaving a large,bloody gash. I could see her insides through the hole Wei had made,I felt horrible,my parents were being killed,and I couldn't do a thing to save them. Mom began to cough and spit up blood as her crying increased.

"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU WEI!"I shouted,"I'M GOING TO RIP EVERY BONE OUT OF YOUR BODY!"

Wei laughed as he rolled my Mom onto her stomach and picked her up by her horn and slammed her head into the ground,breaking her jaw in the process. Wei grabbed my my Mom by her broken jaw.

"How does it feel?" "Knowing that your son is watching,and not coming to save you."

"Tyro",Mom rasped.

"I'M RIGHT HERE MOM!",I said sobbing,"I'M RIGHT HERE!"

"Awe,Wei said,isn't that sweet?"

Lung clamped his jaws around her neck and lifted her into the air. Mom was fighting for her life,trying to get a hold on Wei somehow,but she was losing the battle. Wei slid his claws into the bullet hole he made and ripped a large chuck of flesh off.

What happened next was horrific,Wei plunged his paw into the hole and ripped something out,after observing it a bit,I could make out four,small paws and a tail. It was my un-born sibling.

"Oh look,Lung said,"you were going to have a little sister."

Lung threw my sister on the ground and crushed her,the blood flying everywhere. I felt my body seize up,my mind leave me,I felt like I was just an empty shell. Shadow and Sozenn had thrown up while Nina had fainted at the sight,along with Ator and Vez.

"Your going to die,I stammered.

With a savage twist,Wei snapped my mother's neck and threw her aside.

"Adelind",Wei said,"now it's your parents turn!"

"Mommy,Daddy!" Adelind cried,"NO!"

Tears of fear and pain were running down her already soaked cheeks,"PLEASE DON'T TAKE THEM!"

Wei only laughed as he killed Adelind's parents in the same horrific matter he had mine. I felt my legs start to wobble. I watched our parents blood spill out of them. It's smell,the smell of agony,the smell of death,seemed to hang over the entire building. I fell to my back,unable to even support myself any more. Adelind fell on to my chest,sobbing. Tears I have never shed began to roll down my muzzle.

"Tyro",Adelind cried burring her snout into my neck,her eyes were full of tears and her voice screamed of anguish.

"Adelind",I rasped,tears of agony rolling down my muzzle as well.

"Tyro"Adelind whispered to me,her voice was shaking heavily and her body even heavier.

I wrapped my arms around her. My body didn't feel like my own,my mind didn't feel like my own. I felt like the planet had come crashing down on me. My heart was shattered and I no longer had the will to live.

"I'm sorry Adelind,I rasped between the tears,"I'm so sorry!"

We lay there for what felt like forever,crying as we held each other. After the longest time,I felt someone's paw on my shoulder.

"Come on Tyro",Shadow said,"let's get you two back to your rooms.

I tried to stand,but I couldn't.

"I can't feel my legs Shadow,I cried as fear set in,"I CAN'T FEEL MY LEGS!"

'The I'll carry you,Shadow replied.

Shadow picked me up and slid me over his back and Sozenn picked up Adelind.

"I'm...I'm going to throw up,I said through tear filled whimpers as I lay over Shadow's back.

"Not now Tyro",Shadow said,"wait please."

Shadow opened the door to our room and I slid off his back and walked into the shower room that we had,immediately throwing up into the shower. I felt like my insides were getting ripped out as I came to grips with reality.

"Get it out,"Shadow said patting my back.

I threw up twice more before collapsing into the shower,bashing my muzzle against the tiled wall.

"Let's get you cleaned up",Shadow said turning on the water.

I showered off and then Shadow helped me to my bed. My mind was running with thoughts,too many to take in a process all at once. I lay in bed next to Adelind,her crying had died down a bit,but she was still hurt,you could see it in her eyes. Adelind curled against me,crying for her parents. I joined her weeping. I had never cried so hard. I sobbed for what felt like hours,but I have no clue how long it was. Adelind had managed to find sleep,but she was crying in her dreams. Shadow and Sozenn were laying against the wall,Sozenn was asleep and Shadow was watching with one eye cracked open. Why had this happened? "

Wei will pay with his life for what he has done,I whispered as I placed my head over Adelind's neck,I swear it."

I began to cry again,and I eventually sobbed myself to sleep.
