#2 of Unwanted

Jake unfortunatley got to his class quickly, despite the students now flooding the halls. He sat at his usual seat, as close as he could to the back. He waited till the teacher would start his lecture. It was math, his worst subject. There was only one good thing about this class, and he just walked in. It was Ryan, Jake's crush. Ryan was a 6 foot 10 monster of a panda. Every girl loved him because he was buff but cute at the same time. He's never asked any of them out, and no one knows why. Jake stared at him as he took his seat. The teacher started teaching and all Jake could do was stare blankly at the teacher. He was a cheetah of average height. Nothing was special about him and Jake hated him. He always annoyed Jake, he didn't really know why. Jake sat patiently through the lecture, just waiting until he could get to his next class. It wasn't his favorite, but it was still better than this one. The bell rang and Jake ran out of the room. He ran to his next class and sat. He was making a perfect grade in this class, so he was happy to sit through it. The rest of the day went by very fast, despite bumping into a tiger and dog and dropping every book he held. They gladly helped picking them up, but he couldn't help but smile at the tiger.

At the end of the day, he was excited to get back home. He couldn't help but wonder what was awaiting him. Jake got back to his house and opened the door. No one was there except his sister. "Hey, Jake, happy birthday!" Sam hugged Jake and handed him a small, neatly wrapped gift. Jake stared at it for a bit. "Well, go ahead and open it!" She half yelled, waiting on his approval. Jake tore open the gift and was shocked at was inside. It was the watch he had been staring at for months at the mall. He wanted it desperately, but could never afford it. It was $300, but it looked amazing with Jake's black scales. He slipped it onto his wrist. It fit perfectly. "It's amazing... But how could you afford it?" He was still staring at the watch. "I got a job." The white watch went perfectly with his scales. He hugged her and remembered something. His parents told him his presents should be in his room when he got home. "Thanks, Sam, I'll be right back!" He ran to his room. The door was shut. He pushed the door open quickly and walked in. He fell to his knees. There were remnants of wrapping paper, broken boxes and shattered gifts everywhere. There was a shattered piece of glass on the floor and his bed had a huge X cut into his bed. He walked into his bathroom. His mirror was shattered and scattered on the floor. There was a note in the sink. He picked it up and cried when he read it: Jake, we want you gone by the time we get home. He knew his parents had written the note. He was heart broken but also mad. He stormed out of his room. He ran to the door and was almost out when his sister stopped him. "Jake, what's going on?" He looked back at her, but walked out of the house, slamming the door behind him. He could hear the door open again and a pair of feet follow behind him. "Jake, where are you going?" He turned around and handed her the note. She read it and was shocked. "Jake, they can't be serious, you can't leave!" "They don't want me anymore." It began to rain and soon was a complete down-pour. "Worst day ever." Jake cried, but the rain washed away his tears, soaking his clothes. He flew off, leaving his sister on the ground. The clouds were heavy. He couldn't see more than 10 feet in front of him, but he kept flying. He didn't want to see his parents ever again. In the distance, there was a loud sound, but he tried to ignore it. He last saw a black object approaching him quickly before blacking out.
