A commission for my bro :foxgamer01icon: as a follow up to Towering Strength: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/50348219/Just a quick scenario based on an image where his freshly-transformed dragon is trying to get to grips with his size, only to end up blowing everything out of proportion. I think this is my first attempt at doing galactic-sized macros XDThis was posted a month ago on my Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/ShadeTheRaven Check it out to get early access to my stories, as well as vote on subjects you'd like to see me write! A few days had passed since the events that lead to an ordinary human being transforming into a dragon with god-like powers. Andracca was trying to adapt to his new forms and powers, his life as Joe feeling like a distant memory, even though it hadn't been that long since he ascended. Glaurung, the dragon who had been helping him out as he learned to adapt, had decided to take a break for a few days to take care of 'important' business - what could be more important than trying to help a dragon get to grips with their power? It was largely due to him that the human had been transformed, after all, but he didn't want to tell Andracca just what said business was.

"Just what am I meant to do until he gets back?" He asked himself, sitting on top of a mountain - he daren't go back near civilization, at least not until he could find a way to adjust his size.

"Hey! Whose paw is blocking the pathway?" A voice yelled out, and despite Andracca's giant size and having several hundred feet on them, he heard it as clear as day. He turned his head downwards to see who was talking. "You're gonna have people complain if you stay here, you know that?"

"S-Sorry! I don't really know how to deal with this..." He leant in closer to get a better look at who he was talking to, his eyes picking up the shape of a green-furred, five-tailed kitsune.

"Hey, you wouldn't be the new dragon that Glaurung was talking about, would you?" He asked. "He was in a hurry to get somewhere, but he asked me to check in on you, so here I am!"

"You know Glaurung? Are you a friend of his?" Andracca questioned.

"Well... I guess you could say we're friends in a way. I mean we've played some games together!" The fox chuckled. "The name's Glorfindel, and I'm guessing your name is Andracca?"

The big blue dragon nodded.

"Perfect! Nice to know the old blowhard gave me the right name for once!" He laughed.

"Why's he asked you to check in on me, exactly?" Andracca asked.

"It's fairly simple - he wanted me to help you get your size issues under control!"

"Really? That'd be great! I'd like to be able to face someone without them screaming their heads off and calling me 'Godzilla'!" He smiled.

"Heh, I'm sure it'll come in handy - Glaurung's normally one to believe in the mantra that 'bigger is better', though there's definitely a limit that has to be agreed on in some subjects, and personally, I don't think he was really going to teach you the basics in shrinking back to a more presentable size..." Glorfindel said. "Even if that moron's undeserving of a LOT of the magic he controls, him AND Fëanor, wasting it on stupid or selfish means..." He added under his breath in a somewhat jealous tone.

"What was that?"

"Oh, nothing!" The kitsune returned to his chipper tone. "All you need to know is that Glaurung is somewhat concerned for you, and he felt that it was best that I work on getting you down to the right size for a god dragon!"

"And how long will that take, Glorfindel?" Andracca inquired.

"I'd be inclined to say that it'll only take a few minutes under my tutelage! Glaurung would probably tell you that it'd take days, maybe even weeks, but trust me, I've got a LOT of experience when it comes to size control!" He grinned. "Something he should use on that damn ego of his, as well!" He mumbled.

"Pardon?"

"Nothing, nothing!"

"Hrm... so what is it I need to do?"

"It's simple - just focus on making yourself smaller!"

"That's it?" Andracca cocked his head.

"Yes! There's a small amount of magical mastery involved, but it's as simple as that!"

"Well... I'm all ears, I guess." He shrugged.

"Great! Now all you've got to do is repeat what I'm going to say - you won't need to do it every time, once you get the hang of it, you'll be able to adjust your size by mere focus alone! We'll keep it fairly simple to begin with, let's say adjusting your size to being twenty-feet tall, a respectable size for a dragon of your powers!"

"And that'll make people more receptive to me?" Andracca asked.

"They'll be less likely to run away if you're not the size of a mountain, so yes!" Glorfindel told him.

"OK, then!" He nodded. "I'm ready whenever you are!"

Glorfindel nodded back in response, beginning to chant in a mysterious language. It took a few moments for the dragon to be able to put the words together himself, but once they were in his head, he closed his eyes and began to repeat the chant, hoping for the best.

'Here we go...' He thought to himself, still repeating the chant. He could feel it starting to take effect, his body beginning to shrink down in size, albeit very slowly.

"It's working!" The kitsune smiled, watching on as the dragon's size reduced. Andracca didn't seem to be shrinking down as fast as he was expecting, but it was still a step in the right direction.

'So far so good...' He continued the chant, seeing the ground getting closer with each passing second, Glorfindel beginning to look more like a kitsune than a green speck. All he had to do is keep it up, and then he'd be at a size that (hopefully) no-one would run away screaming from. He was no longer bigger than the mountains around him, he just had to be smaller still!

"Keep it up! You could teach Glaurung a thing or two with how quickly you're adapting to this!" Glorfindel was practically cheering him on at this point, seeing Andracca reduce further in structure.

"I can do this... I can do this!" He kept repeating in his head, nearing half the size of what he was moments beforehand. He could clearly make out Glorfindel, alongside some of the signs that were put along the pathway. "Just a little more now!"

"You've got this!" Glorfindel shouted. "You're not too far off, now!"

"Nearly... nearly..." Andracca closed his eyes, trying to keep himself focused until the very end. He had just about reached the thirty-foot mark, just a little more to go. "Nearly....."

"You're so close! Just a few more feet to... go?" The kitsune paused when he saw that Andracca's shrinking seemed to have slowed down to the point of stopping entirely. Before he could say anything about it, he witnessed the dragon begin to grow in size once more. "Er, Andracca? You're going backwards!"

"I'm what?" He opened his eyes, gasping when he saw himself growing again, only this time, his growth appeared to be accelerating itself. "Oh no!"

"Try to remain calm! Keep repeating the chant!" Glorfindel tried to advise him, but it didn't seem to be doing much to help, the dragon's growth continuing further - he had surpassed his original size, and was still going, his upper body vanishing behind the clouds.

He did so, trying to keep calm and focus, but he couldn't get his size to go back down, even if his life were to depend on it. "It's not working!"

"It HAS to work!" The kitsune responded with a slight hint of panic in his voice - he didn't want to admit that maybe trying to rush Andracca into learning size control magic might have been a bit too much to ask. Hell, he was pretty sure that it was damn-near IMPOSSIBLE for him to be able to admit to being wrong about anything.

"Well it's NOT!" He cried out, his body reaching out past the heavens at this point. "What am I meant to do, I'm getting too big, people are gonna freak out if they see me like this now!" The dragon stammered, taking a few steps back, his hefty paws leaving deep indentations in the ground beneath him. He caught his heel against the nearby mountain, stumbling as he fell backwards.

"OH NO!" Glorfindel threw his paws over his eyes - the size that Andracca was now, the impact of him falling down would likely be akin to that of a meteor hitting the earth, if not worse. He braced himself, waiting to hear the inevitable thud, but it never seemed to come. He lowered his paws, expecting to see the great beast lying flat on his back, but to his surprise, he was nothing.

"Oh good..." He let out a sigh of relief. "I... guess he must have started flapping his wings to avoid crashing down to earth!"

"Glorfindellllllllllll!" He heard Andracca's voice calling to him.

"Andracca? Where are you?"

"Look... look up...!"

"Look up? Oh thank god, did you start flying before you fell over?" He asked, turning his gaze skywards. "I was afraid that you were gonna end up flatten- HOOOOLY CRAP!!!" Glorfindel nearly leapt out of his fur as he looked up to see one giant, red eye staring down at him. "Andracca?! How big have you gotten?!"

"I... I don't know!" He peered down to the Earth. "I'm looking at the planet... it's about the size of a bowling ball, if that!" He was thankful that his words were travelling far enough to be heard by the kitsune, given he couldn't make out a single thing on the Earth barring the continents. He had to wonder just HOW his words were reaching out to him, considering he was literally floating in the vacuum of space right now, and was even more surprised at the fact that he was breathing just fine despite, once again, being in the empty, lifeless void.

"This is insane! You were meant to be making yourself SMALLER, not BIGGER!" Glorfindel put his hands on his head. "This is going to need some kind of super powerful chant to fix!"

"Can we maybe do this WITHOUT a chant?" Andracca pleaded. "After a few times, it started to sound like gibberish, and I'm wondering if that's why it went in reverse!"

"In reverse? HOW did you manage to flub my chant up to the point of outgrowing the damn Earth?!"

"I don't know, I don't know!" The dragon curled up into a ball, hugging his tail tight against himself, the scales around his face turning bright red in embarrassment. He wanted to rock back and forth, but he couldn't get the momentum to do so. That and he was worried about bumping into the Earth in the process.

"Urg..." The kitsune groaned. "Look, we'll get you back to normal size and back on Earth soon enough, you're just gonna have to give me the benefit of the doubt whilst I work on fixing this!"

"Please hurry - the longer I stay up here, the more I feel like a passing satellite or two are gonna start taking pictures of me!"

"This might take a while - at least I don't have to worry about you going anywhere!" He tried to diffuse the situation by cracking a joke, but got nothing back except for one giant eyeball staring daggers at him. "Fine, that was a bad one, I'm sorry, just give me some time on this one!" He told Andracca before dashing off. "I'm either gonna have to get some assistance from Glaurung, or try to see if Fëanor knows anything, even if I'll have to wring his sneaky neck to get an answer or two!"
