I keep running down the hall, I stop to see a venom soldier armed with a flamethrower, shooting a stream of fire into the room I was going to. Without hesitation I run towards the soldier, I slash the 'gun' of the flamethrower, I sock him which knocks him back, I thrust the type-1's energy blades into the soldiers torso, he loudly gasps, I yenk it out, slash him and he drops to the ground. I look into the room, the raging inferno has claimed everything in the room, given Panther's words fresh in my mind, I store my sword back into my forearm, I charge into the flaming room and begin to search as best I can, the areas close to the door are a no-go as that's where the damage is most severe, so I frantically begin to search the rest of the room, my eyes find a large computer system and it's still on, I grab a nearby small, hard drive-looking device, I quickly have it hooked up to the computer and begin to download what's on the machine. In almost no time the data is downloaded, I yank the hard drive out and run out of the room, running to the right to try to regroup with either Katt or Krystal.

I see Katt up ahead and I yell "KATT!" as my helmet folds into my suit.

Katt looks to me instantly and she says "Adam? What is it?"

I say "No time to explain.:, I hold out the hard drive and I say "Take this to be decoded." with an urgent tone.

Katt looks to the drive then back to me, she nods, she says "I'll get it back at once." and takes it.

I say "Where is Krystal?"

Katt says "She's on her way to the artillery command center to bring friendly fire on the Venom forces."

I say "We'll meet you back at the Cornerian line, I'm going to go reinforce her."

Katt nods, she says "Good luck." she runs to the cut open grate and climbs through.

I remember which way Krystal went and head after her, my helmet comes to form as well as the plasma rifle and energy sword. I come to a room labeled 'Artillery Guidance Station', the heavy door opened by a crack, I lightly budge it open to see quite a sight. Officers, operators and soldiers are all over the place, either laying limp on the floor or over their stations, Krystal is at the forefront of the room typing keys in.

I approach her and I say "Dang, your a one woman army." surprised at the damage.

Krystal giggles and she says "I always get the jump on them." with a light smile.

I look at what Krystal is doing, it looks like she has forcefully shut down the venom ground artillery and now she's sending target data to our artillery and so the venom forces in space will get confused and bombard this location.

I say "I ran into Panther..."

Krystal says "I heard, the nearby guards radio alerted me to that."

I say "And there's something going on here!"

Krystal looks to me and she says "What do you mean hon?"

I say "While I was fighting Panther he made a comment that there's only one way to see if all humans are fighters."

Krystal raises an eyebrow and she says "Strange, but it's possible that he's just taunting you. Though I'll read his mind just to be safe."

A voice comes up "I think!" it's Wolf.

Our attention snaps to see Wolf in the door way with a machine gun in his hands.

Wolf says "I don't know what's taken place, but Panther does. I guess that's why he's wearing that helmet."

I say "What helmet?"

Wolf says "I don't know how it works but to sum it up it blocks Krystal's telepathic abilities, that means no sight seeing!"

I think 'Dammit!', I glance to Krystal who's glancing at me and I think 'I'll hold him off, finish what your doing.'

Krystal reluctantly nods and she gets back to work.

I arm my plasma rifle and energy sword and I say "Let's dance!"

Wolf quickly aims his machine gun at me, I run to my left as my helmet forms, Wolf begins to fire, my shields are taking a pounding from the projectiles, I open fire with my type-25 in a snap-shooting fashion, my shields fail as machine gun bullets begin to strike the armor itself, I leap over a console as I swing, Wolf dodges, I blind fire my plasma rifle at him as I pass, I feel machine gun fire resume on my back armor plate, I quickly turn to see Wolf infront of me, he tosses a grenade at me, the grenade hits my face plate and explodes, I land on the floor and crash against the wall, my vision and audio sensors overloaded. Wolf storms up to me, he points his machine gun at me, I knok it away with a left handed slap as it discharges, I thrust my sword forward, Wolf jumps back, he quickly aims his machine gun at me but he suddenly stops, his right arm goes limp which causes the machine gun to drop and clatter onto the floor, gasping escapes his mouth, a blue hand raises above from behind his head and he drops, revealing Krystal.

I have my helmet fold in as I stand, my head throbbing from the grenade and I say :Thanks for the help." with a relieved smile.

Krystal says "You need to stop being reckless, when fighting these guys it's best to do it with a combat partner. Besides, no one pushes my boy around.", she picks up the machine gun, she says "That's my job." with a smile and shoots the weapon at the guidance control.

I store my energy sword and I say "Can we please get out of here now?"

Krystal tosses the weapon aside, she says "Yes, in fact bombardment is going to happen soon!", she grabs my hand and begins to run.

I say "I can run on my own!" as my legs pick up the pace.

Krystal says "Now we have to find Katt!"

I say "She's already fallen back, I gave her some possible Intel to decode."

Krystal says "What do you mean by 'possible Intel'?"

I say "They were burning a room full of Intel and operations, I copied what info I could to a hard drive. I don't know what's on it but I have an idea what maybe on it."

Krystal says "They'll find out, don't worry."

We make our way through the grate and head outside, artillery begins to storm the place from two directions, from one way it's the Cornerian line and from the other it's orbital bombardment. A shell smashes into the tunnel entrance which seals it, I quickly activate my helmet, my visor finds a heavy, underground storage facility, I grab Krystal by her hand and make a run for it, scattering weapons fire is increasing as we make it inside, I see a lever that closes and opens door, I grab it with both my handsome I try to yank it down but the rust has claimed the entire mechanism, Krystal grips with both her hands on the lever, the system is creaking but that's it. The heavy hits are nearly upon us, I can hear the hardware of my suit loudly hum as we try to keep forcing the lever down.

Krystal says "If a single shot gets in here, we're finished!"

I grunt, I say "Not today!" as a shell lands near the entrance, I yell into the air "WE ARE NOT DYING TODAY!", with a hard, adrenaline fueled yank I finally force the lever down, the door seals shut, an artillery round hits the door but it holds strong as I pant and begin to take deep breaths.

Krystal sighs with a smile, she says "We made it, Adam... we made it!" with a bigger smile, she looks to me, her look turns to one of slight shock and she says "Now that's a grip." with a jokeful smile.

My helmet folds into my chest system, I look to see the lever is in my hands, ripped from the rusted mount, a smile forms on my face, I begin to lightly laugh, I drop the lever to the floor in which it bangs, I back up to the wall and slide down, my body finally giving way to being tired as the sudden jolts of energy have exhausted my muscles.

Krystal comes over to me, she sits next to me, she pulls me in and she says "How's my soldier doing now?" with a giggle.

I take a deep breath and I say "Exhausted."

Krystal says "The shelling will last for a while and due to our lack of rest... maybe we can do so." with a light smile.

I smile tiredly, I unhook the plating and torso plates so that my upper half isn't tank hard, I lean against the blue vixen as she regains her grip around me, I look to see her eyes, a warm smile has formed from her lips, I move my head towards hers as I smile and kiss her. I can feel her tongue invade my mouth again, I decide not to follow her tongue this time as I just want to take it in, I feel one of her hands brush through my hair, I gently break the kiss and I lay my head into her, I feel the fur of her chest meet my skin as I feel Krystal embrace me.

I hear Krystal "That's it baby, just lay against me and get some sleep." with a warm tone.

And with that I fall asleep, my body and mind finally gives in. After an unknown amount of time, I hear loud pounding like metal on metal, I wake up to see Krystal looking at the sealed door.

Krystal notices me and she says "Sorry for the wake up call, but our team is trying to break down the door to get us out."

I gently break her embrace, I have a better idea." as i put my armor back one, my energy sword takes shape, I move towards the door, my helm taking shape, I look to Krystal, I say "You may want to move away.", I look back to the heavy door and stab the blades into it.

Using my sword like a cutting torch I begin to try to cut a big hole in the door, the door actually has some resistance to my sword but the energy weapon is still cutting with ease. I carefully manage to cut a complete circle, I 'sheath' my sword, I motion Krystal to give me a hand, she comes over, my helmet re-enters my suit as we begin to push, the heavy circle screeching and groaning as it slowly moves, after a bit of time the cut out falls, revealing the outside world.

I say "Ladies first." with a smile.

Krystal nods with a smile, she climbs through and I hear her "Your turn."

I climb through to see the rest of our team and some very surprised engineers with what looks to be mining equipment, I move to the others as I nod to the engineers, thanking them for their effort.

Fox comes up to us and he says "Are you both okay?"

Krystal says "We're okay Fox, if not for Adam's quick thinking we maybe won't be here."

My focus instantly shifts to the enemy base which is now burnt out and almost obliterated and I think 'But what were they up to?" remembering what had happened in there.

I hear Fox "Adam, you look troubled. What's wrong?"

I look at the reynard and I say "The enemy is up to something Fox!"

Fox says "We know, Katt brought the hard drive to our attention and it's being worked on as we speak. Good work Adam."

Falco says "Just wish we could have knocked Star Wolf out of this war, they bashed their way out."

Slippy says "Yeah but it seems Panther's was on auto-pilot which means he was likely riding with one of the others."

I say "You can thank me for that, the guy isn't as cleaver as he thinks he is but he sure puts up a decent fight."

Miyu says "You went toe-to-toe with Panther?!" surprised.

I nod and I say "Yes, but he's the one that made me get that hard drive because he said there was only one way to see if all humans were fighters. So they're up to something." starting to feel paranoid about it.

Fox says "I'm sure he was just taunting you, the wreckage of the craft you came in was comepletely destroyed after all."

I say "I wouldn't rely on that Fox, the Venom's are a very tenacious force."

Falco says "He's got a point, how many times have we beaten them back and they've pressed on."

Peppy says "Too many, but we spoil their plans every time."

I nod to peppy, I look to Fox and I say "What are our orders?"

Fox says "We are to leave the forces stationed here to finish securing the planet, we've been assigned to scout Fichina for possible enemy activity and since it's so close to the Venom system it would make a decent forward base."

Falco says "Great, we're going to that ice ball."

A cornerian drop ship comes into view, it lands and we board, our voyage is quiet, our bodies exhaustion clearly has caught up with us, as we step onto the deck of the Great Fox I notice that I'm limping as my tired body struggles to move itself.

I sigh and I say "I can't wait to get out of this suit!" with a groan.

Slippy says "You must be hurting in that suit."

I say "That's an under statement, this suit is meant for combat... not for living in!"

Fox says "We've all been stuck in our suits, thankfully it'll be some time before we reach Fichina so we'll get some rest."

I sigh, I say "Thank goodness." and head to my quarters.

Upon entering my room, I quickly strip myself of my armor, my cloths are soaked with sweat, the potent odor is so strong I gag, I head into the bathroom, I quickly toss all my cloths into my laundry machine to be cleaned, I take a shower, enjoying the hot water, feeling the cleaning soap and fruit-scented shampoo go through my hair, after bathing in the water for an hour, I step out, dry off, I put on a black t-shirt with blue boxers and crash onto my bed like a bomb dropped from a dive bomber onto a target.

I smile, I think 'Finally, I can actually sleep.', I hear the door bell to my room, I groan and I say "Come in!" as I get up and put on a blue robe.

The door opens, Krystal comes in wearing a black robe and she says "How's my boy?" with a giggly smile as the door closes behind her.

I say "Exhausted." and crash back onto the bed.

Krystal lays on the bed, she lightly brushes my hair and she says "Aw, my poor baby. But I have a present for you." with a smile.

Krystal gets off the bed, she opens her robe and drops it, revealing that she's in her under wear, a black contour bra and high-cut black under wear. The blue vixen crawls onto the bed, she purrs with a smile as she come up to me, she traces a finger down my nose and ends up on the tip of my nose.

Krystal says "What do you think?" with a rather modest smile.

My mouth is wide open in shock, she's truly very beautiful and I say "Damn girl, your beautiful!" regretting my words after they leave my mouth.

A satisfied smile broadens Krystal's lips, her finger glides to to the collar of my robe and she says "May I?" as her finger lightly tugs it.

I nod with a light smile, Krystal slowly opens my robe, I toss it to the side, she gently takes my right hand and places it on her chest over her left breast.

I say "Can I..." before I finish her finger comes to the front of my mouth.

Krystal puts on a teasing smile and she says "Not tonight, your going to have to wait."

I nod, she let's go of my hand, I move my hand away from her breast, I move closer to her and I embrace her.

Krystal gently embraces me and she says "You can pet me if you want or we can just cuddle." with a smile.

I smile as I move my left hand to the right side of her abdomen and begin to gently pet her side, feeling her soft, warm fur as I pet her, I move my right hand to her left cheek, feeling her soft facial fur as she warmly smiles, she moves a hand through my hair to the back of my neck as her left traces my face, her right leg moves over me as she looks into my eyes and I look into hers. Our lips meet in a kiss, we keep looking at each other and we gently break it.

Krystal says "I think it's best of we get some rest." with a tired smile.

I lightly yawn and I say "Yeah, good idea." with a tired smile.

Krystal says "Good night hon." with a smile.

I say "Good night my beatiful girl." with a smile.

We kiss one more time and we fall asleep.
