Tanka no. 2 (summer)**
burrowing hornets
emerge in heated morning --
the shedding of tears
from humankind to nature's
constantly warring factions
**tanka no. 3 (autumn)**
the loosening leaves
in an evening force of gust --
beneath the full moon
darkening

He slowly sneaked around the facility, hiding int he shadows of the darkened hallways. whenever he was cornered, he would disappear into the darkened walls, not to be seen.

As my eyes flutter open
the light darkens,
the happiness fades,
as i remember
my hated body and despised life.

_your shadow that darkened worlds._
_your shadow blocks the light needed to see._
_never thought darkness was so much fun._
_shadows are a lack of light._
_maybe shadows are more of something else._
_shadows rule this world._
_so does light

Birth
wrap me in air, annoint me with water
name me now, the element's daughter
brush me with embers, brush me with dust
paint the sacred symbols on me with rust
wash me in winds, drown me in streams
awaken the elements sleeping in dreams
darkened
Dragoness, Poetry
If, or how emotional
even though we bicker and fight
theres alway a tunnel, at the end theres light
but, within this tunnel i do see
a seat for two, both you and me
i see us both within these seats
in unity, that we shall keep
so, as those darkened
Love, Poetry
The darkened clouds spewing forth bolts of lightning to kill the darkness. the flames don't burn my soft skin as i stare at the darkness, himself. my sword drawn as i am lifted up by wings of gold.
Angel, darkness, light
Light but dark, much like a marsh
it is often wet, seldom dry
a husk foes rise from its guard
in darkened cloth it is garbed
with a forward lurch, it starts it's search.
Poem, Poetry
Beneath that evening's breeze the sickly sweet
and brazen scent of countless flow'rs
awoke inside of you a darkened sleep
of dreams dug deeper than the soil.
oh, we are waking minds who missed that scent!
Death, Poetry
I listen for the whispers found
inside this darkened well;
drink in the sweet melody
of lessons i ought have learned.

Poetry
Bells have rung for command,
over darkened hills,
waiting for father's midnight band,
and cheap thrills.
last call for dull relief,
before divine prayer;
a monument to a thief,
gasping for air.
