The events in this story transpire during the previous chapter (ch18) of 'a new dawn' you may notice that this is written in the 3rd person rather than 1st person like the story.

My style throughout this story has been 3rd person narration, but told through only one pov at a time. this made it incredibly difficult for me to mention any of the 'clues' without the character noticing it, too.
