By now the sun had made its way below the horizon, just a sliver of it left that was rapidly disappearing to make way for the night sky and stars. the sounds of night-time bug-types grew with the surf and breeze.

On the horizon there was a jagged ridge of mountains, capped with a layer of snow, deep in the undergrowth there was a creature rustling through, trying to make his way through the forest.

Staring out at the horizon, watching. waiting. "mama! mama, look!" the daughter cries. that makes everyone look. even the attendant. even him. sure enough, there's a figure in the air, approaching on the horizon.
