This is a furry version of a short story i wrote about the d-day evacuation at dunkirk (for my writing class), inspired by an image of the evacuation.

They were late by 3 hours, caught in a freak storm over the english channel. 10,000 civilians, 3,000 soldiers, and hundreds of metric tons of material was piled up in the streets and ports of dunkirk.
