Loona links up with the imps, firing wildly with a pair of captured mp5's, Mox is taking shots with an m14 rifle while Blitz is laying down fire with an uzi and a glock 18, Millie is zipping around with her axe and using an m9 pistol in conjunction with it. The soldiers are countering with aug assault rifles and semi-auto shotguns, both sides are at a deadlock as Millie finds herself pinned down by a pair of m60's taking turns.

Blitz looks to the hellhound "Where is Adam?!"

"His instincts we're starting to take hold, so he decided to stay back and take a breather.", she ditches the spent mp5's and grabs an aug "These guys are dug in pretty good!"

Mox loads a new mag "They know we can't maintain this, maybe we can find an alternate...."

Howls and roars takes the air which forces everyone to stop shooting, everyone looks around as Millie quickly rejoins the others.

Blitz whispers "What was that?"

They suddenly hear screams and weapons fire from where the humans are, they look and see a group of hellhounds ripping them to shreds, they look to the demons and roar.

Loona takes a smell of the air "They are hybrids like Adam." becoming stunned.

Moxxie gulps "Looks like they were successful after all."

Millie ditches the pistol "So what do we do?!"

Loona eyes the hybrids with shock at first, especially with more and more arriving, she gives a smirk "We even the playing field.", he raises her head and gives a long howl.

I fully regain myself "Alright, now where were we?!", I suddenly hear howling and I recognize it as Loona calling for me, I growl "I'm on my way!" and I begin to run.

I leap and jump around corners, I make it to where I heard Loona and the sight is insane as they are surrounded by what look to be hellhounds.... buuuut a quick sniff and they are hybrids like me. I run towards them, I leap above the hybrids in my path and land with Loona and the others, scanning the hybrids with the shotgun and machine gun.

Loona looks to me "We are deep in it now!", those eyes going to the hybrids "We need a plan and fast, they took out the soldiers no problem."

Hearing those words surprises me... they aren't even trained?! Looking at how ravenous they are, if these things get out onto the streets then New York City could become devoured by them in maybe a weeks time. I do get an idea, one that is kind of crazy but it could give us the edge we need.

I look to the demons "Listen, we can't fight them in here because of the close quarters and they have a lot of cover. We need to open a portal to Hell and kill them there, funnel em into a killzone!"

Blitz nods "I'll go to the other side with you, M and M get these pricks through to us!"

Loona opens the portal, Blitz and I run through the portal as I toss him the shotgun, we're on the main road which catches everyone's attention and we aim at the portal, a few seconds later the hybrids start coming through and we open fire, the shotgun runs out but the machine gun keeps going til I run the belt completely through, I quickly put it away as I get locked in melee, I get a grip on the hybrids neck and snap it with ease as Blitz cuts another down, more of them start to come through, I whip out a pair of pistols and resume fire while Blitz runs circles around them, one gets around me, I brace and all of a sudden Vortex comes up from behind, grabs it and breaks it's spine.

The large hellhound grins "You can't seem to stay out of trouble little man." as more hounds fill in behind him.

I laugh "Looks like it!", I look to the portal "We need some help, think you guys can lend a hand and help us kill these hybrids?!"

Edge comes over "Consider it done!"

We clash with the hybrids in full force, explaining that we can't let them live, 10, 15, 22, 34, every time we kill one two more take it's place and it takes too long for us to reload any firearms to shoot into them, so we end up rending them, clawing them, biting them and cutting them, but we are starting to be a little overwhelmed. I whip out my mg42 and mp40 and open fire, I may not have time to reload but I can still shoot, as soon as they run out, I ditch them and replace them with a pair of lugars, followed by mp5's, machine pistols and so many more.

One gets in my face but I quickly shove a 12 gauge in it's maw blow it's brains out, I toss it and fire the other shell before ditching the shotgun, I grab another and twist it's lower jaw off, followed by punching another so hard it's rib cage collapses instantly and crashes into car. I ready a pair of panzerfausts and blow two of the hyrbids up. Vortex and the other hellhounds have the hybrids locked in melee with the hybrids having gotten some good shots in but while bloody we haven't taken any loses yet, Blitz cuts into a few of the hybrids, but these things have no sense of even basic preservation... so they'll just keep coming until either we are destroyed or they are. A few of the hybrids become engulfed in this purple flame, we look and see Stolas joining us, his right hand in a tight grasp as purple magic radiates from it, a hybrid tries to claw at him but he stares at it sternly for a moment and it turns to stone.

Stolas looks to us "What in Lucifer's name is going on here?!"

"It's a bit of story!", I catch a hybrid by the sides of it's head as it lunges at me and crush it "But these things need to be destroyed!"

Blitz shoots one with a high caliber handgun "Adam's right, they can't control these things! If they break out into the human world then there goes any fresh souls coming in the future!"

Loona, Millie and Moxxie are feeding the hybrids into the portal as best they can, Loona is constantly keeping the portal open as she moves around while the imps lure or push the hybrids into the opening, they are amazed at just how many of them there are...

Millie kills one of the hybrids "How many of these things did they make!" followed by Mox "As many as they could I guess!" and puts another down with machine pistols.

Loona gets another hybrid through the portal "It doesn't matter, we keep this up until they are all put down!", one hybrid gets close but she bites down on it's neck and tosses it "These things are tenacious I'll give them that!"

The imps and hellhound keep luring them into the trap while killing a few in the process, but their bodies are starting to tire out as the hybrids keep coming, but the creatures finally thin out and the last one runs through the portal, Moxxie does some quick counting... 275 hybrids in total... they must've been ranking banking on Cerberus for a high number of loses and toll taken on all those involved.

The three look to the hybrids they killed, each one was a human before thri transformation just like Adam was, unlike Adam however they can make out black numbers and letters on their left arm with bar-codes on the back of their necks... something else was up...

The last hybrid drops from being all shot up from my ump45's, the road is nothing but remains, brass and fresh crimson, the smell of blood and gunpowder is all that can be smelled, the air is nothing but sustained silence save for heavy breathing, I look at the bodies and find numbers, bar-codes on their left arm and neck respectively... they didn't do that to me or even attempted to do it... this wasn't just a super soldier program!

Blitz comes over to me "Geez, I'm use to some messed up stuff, even this is kind of takes the cake.", he loads a new mag into his pistol "So what do we do now?"

I look to the carnage in front of me, volunteer, drafted, abducted or assigned it doesn't matter, they were turned into a weapon system, not into soldiers but into attack dogs, something you throw at the enemy and watch them devour whatever they make contact with until they die out, I look myself over... this is the result they want but they don't know how to tame these kind of creatures, they would need someone like me or one of the natural hellhounds themselves to train them properly to be soldiers. I guess I'm luckier then I thought I was...

I look to the imp "We bring their bodies back to the other side... then we raze the whole building to the ground!" ditching the submachine guns and begin to reload the lad "I think Cerberus has gone far enough."

We make short work of throwing the bodies back over, though I do ask the others to stay here in case we need help again and they agree to it, wishing us luck... Blitz and I run back through and we the two imps and hellhound piling the bodies up. We make a quick game plan to shut this place down, I have Mox and Mil come with me while Loona and Blitz get to work on burning the hybrids, we need to destroy it all, the hybrids, the data, the footage... everything... it's the only way we can make sure this madness stops. We head towards the upper floors and we see more of the soldiers or rather what is left of them, they all have been torn to shreds and there is crimson all over the walls and floors with the open doors being heavily reinforced and looking like they were magnetically sealed with advanced hydraulics, and the next few floors are exactly like this with the closer we get the less soldiers there are and more agents pop up.

We work our way more and more towards the top, this light comes, we look and see a helicopter coming our way, it's just a regular heli but black, I break the window and fire a panzerfaust which strikes the helicopter and it goes down in ball of fire, I ditch the spent tube and we go running upstairs, we get to a metal door but I rip it off and toss it. We turn a few corners and see agents One and Two in a full panic.

I ready my machine gun "There is no where to run to now! The both of you have a lot to answer for!"

The both of them look to us, One takes a step towards us "We needed to find a way to defend ourselves! What are we suppose to do? Just let you kill us?!" he points at me "We saw you on the cameras! You made short work of the soldiers and agents that stood in your path!"

I sigh "Look, I am not a soldier of Hell... I am a hitman! An assassin employed by I.M.P. and it is something I am tasked with!"

Two takes her glasses off "We know, Alpha told us, but you are something every nation would fight for to be the highest bidder! We created Cerberus to give us the edge we need over you, to protect ourselves."

"Look at the pile of dead hybrids below us, you didn't protect them at all, we had to put them out of their misery! More importantly, what about what you did to me and those that failed before that?"

One folds his arms "I am not saying we are proud of the loss of life, but as you more then likely know success requires sacrifice. Take you for example, you gave up on your humanity for what you now have and are now, you are just as guilty as they are."

I glare at them "It was an offer that I took, because at first I was desperate. I had my own problems before I ended up in Hell, I was tired of scraping by and I was tired of how mundane it all was, I destroyed anything that would identify me and learned what I needed. The demons became my friends and allies....", I think of Loona "And so much more then that.", I blink a few times "Either way, this ends now, we have proven that these hybrids are ineffective against us, without the training I received they are no match for us. Cerberus has failed!"

Moxxie aims an m4 at them "It seems no matter what, you got always get kicked around, nice to see you live up to your name huh? We always shove you into a locker!"

Millie gives a giggle "A little stereotypical, but it is fitting."

I roll my eyes at the joke, I eye the agents more harshly "Before I was willing to spare you, now you will have no mercy from me!" as I hand my machine gun to Millie.

The agents gulp, they go to draw their guns but I'm right on top of them, I grab them by their necks and slam them into the wall, sending their pistols to the ground in a bunch of clatters. I growl at them as I gaze into their eyes, I can smell the fear cascading off of them as I show my teeth. I understand their intentions though, they fear that the demons are invading Earth, but as far as I can tell the majority just don't care about Earth at all, even with this breech none of the higher demon hierarchy will care enough to investigate... at least as far as I know.

I snap One's neck and toss him to the side, my gaze goes straight to Two who I can tell is trying to scream, I let go of her but I quickly bite down on her neck and begin to shake her like crazy, I let her go and she smashes into a breaker box which explodes into sparks of death. I go over to the edge and look out over the city of New York, I scan everything I can see, the view is breath taking as I feel the wind hitting me and moving my fur. I take a deep breath and howl into the sky, lights turn on throughout the city as I go on for about fifteen seconds, I smirk and I walk away from the edge... now we can cap this off. For a third of the floors towards the top we set incendiaries up and a good amount of c4 towers the middle, just enough to get the building to tip and come crashing down, we gather all data we can erase local hard drives, all while making sure to make it look like a terrorist attack which is easy to do. We set it to where the incendiaries go first followed by the c4 about thirty seconds later, we go through the portal and we bring up a feed of the building as Loona seals the portal behind us... watching the building become consumed in flame before becoming a pile of concrete, glass and steel is pretty scary, for a such a hard structure it crumbled like tissue paper. We cut the live feed and I can feel everyone looking at me, given we had to kill the hybrids that were in a way based off of me, I can understand why, I turn around and my cell phone begins to ring from a number I don't recognize, though I answer it and put it on speaker.

"I must say, you are full of surprises! Both you and your allies have proven to be extremely effective, though now I have you in particular right in my cross-hairs!" with the owners voice being Alpha's.

I smirk "Really? It's quite an honor to be recognized, but how about this? How about in instead of talking over a phone we do so in person? Or are you scared?"

Alpha begins to laugh "Me? Scared of a mutt?! I am an Exorcist you fool!"

"I know, I have heard of you and your poor excuse of mopping up operations. What's wrong, are you so scared to see me face to face that you'd rather stay in the protection of your superior?!" earning some snickers from the demons and a few "Ooohs" as well.

"How dare you, you are nothing but an arrogant punk! The agents couldn't beat you but I can!"

I look up "Then come and get me, I'll be waiting, but keep in mind I'm not gonna fight you... I'm gonna kick you down so hard you won't even know which direction is up! Besides... I've always wanted to kill an angel... so bring it on goldilocks. As far as I am concerned there is innocent blood on your hands and I aim to hold you accountable!"

Alpha begins to rant but I shut him up by hanging up the phone and I pocket it.

Vortex comes over "You either got guts or you are crazy."

I shrug "Why not both?" earning a few chuckles.

Stolas eyes me "But now you have a target on your back, Exorcist's have a bit of an ego."

Blitz waves him off "Ah, let them come." he looks to me "With Adam here, maybe Hell can gain some ground again."

I rub the back of my head "Never bank the victory on a single person, though I do appreciate it." with a grin "Besides, they won't likely attack us until the Extermination anyway, so we got time to prepare."

After we get a few things squared away with the crowd and all, we get back to I.M.P. headquarters where we go over our total equipment loss and we used a ton of weapons and ammunition to where it'll take some time to restock so we'll have to focus on restocking for now, but now the Exorcists are going to be coming out to play and I doubt they are just going to wait until the Extermination arrives, so I'll make sure we are ready at a moments notice.

Loona comes over to me "So, now we've got the crazy angels coming our way.", she smirks as she looks to me "But I think we are a little crazier."

I chuckle "Maybe, but crazy alone won' be enough to win this."

The hellhound pulls me into a hug "Hey knucklehead, don't forget... you are the one who challenged Alpha and begins to laugh.

Loona and I begin hold each other, it's been a crazy ride so far... but after what we have been through I think we can tackle anything.

Charlie is sitting at her desk, having just received word from her parents that Alastor is now under watch temporarily but it doesn't change the fact that Adam is still likely in the radio demons sights and now the Exorcists are coming into the picture, even with the evidence against Alastor it's deemed not enough for her father to detain him and sadly she and him are still partners when it comes to the hotel... but now her eyes are on him.
