About a week has past since the conflict ended and life is getting back to normal. Heh, among those in the U.C.R. some of them are calling me 'Rambo' or 'Wild Man', but my I'd have to say 'Wolfen' has to be my favorite. Being on vacation is going amazingly well, though some things have been crossing my mind ever since the day after I made it back to the Great Fox. Some things personal, others more broad. I'm looking at myself in the mirror, splashing some cold water on my face to help me wake up, for the past few days a couple of things have indeed been on my mind, no doubt Krystal has sensed it, but she hasn't up to me about it yet. But I do have one thing I really want to accomplish today. I get dressed up and I grab a black ring box, today is the day that I feel comfortable popping the question, today I am proposing to Krystal. I leave the bathroom, I look out the window and I see that we're in orbit around Corneria, I leave my quarters and head to the hanger where most of everyone is, as our ferry is getting ready to head down to the planet surface.

I arrive and I see everyone getting ready to board the craft, I head over and I say "Good morning guys." with a light smile.

Fox says "There's our guy, ready for some rest and relaxation?" with a smile of his own.

I lightly chuckle and I say "More then ready, I threw my bags in the luggage few hours ago."

Miyu says "A few weeks of being on Corneria's surface while we're getting refits, always nice." with a smirk as she gets on board with Fay following her.

I say "The best part about Corneria is that we don't have to worry about anybody trying to eat us." as I go to board the craft.

Falco says "I second that!" as he loads a bag in a storage unit.

Within a few hours we're on the ground at a star port, we check in at a local military hotel and everyone is getting ready to do their own thing. But I have my own way to start the day.

I say "Uh, hon?" as I ready to pull out the ring box.

Krystal looks to me with a curious look and she says "Yes sweetie?"

I gently take her hand as I kneel which earns not just our teammates attention but several others, Krystal warmly smiles at me with those eyes of hers beaming.

I say "Krystal, you we're the first I saw when I came here, the first that helped guide me in the right direction, it wasn't long after that that I fell in love with you and that you returned my feelings. Seeing those eyes of yours, your smile, your voice... all of it, I've seen many times first thing in the morning and the last I saw before I went to sleep... and I would love that to go on forever. Krystal, will you marry me?" as I hold out the ring box and flip it open.

Krystal smiles, she says "Yes Adam, I would love to be you wife.", she kisses me and together we put the ring on her finger.

Applause rings out as we kiss each other one more time.

Miyu says "Yay! It's official!" as she cheers.

Fay says "When's the wedding?" with a playful tone as she wags her tail.

Fox says "Congratulations you two." with a huge smile.

Falco says "Are we doing a bachelor party or what?" in a joking tone.

Katt says "Come on Falco, they just got engaged." with a smile and trying suppress a laugh.

Krystal pulls out a ring box of her own, she opens it and she says "I picked up a ring for you my mate." as she slides it onto my ring finger with a loving smile.

I say "Were you going to propose to me?" as I lightly blink.

Krystal nods and she says "And I had hunch that you would have a ring too." with a wink.

Everyone gets a chuckle and I start laughing a little, Krystal takes my hand and we head out.

Krystal happily sighs and she says "In all seriousness, I am a little surprise that you decided to propose as soon as we made planetfall, I kinda expected it a little later." with a teasing smile.

I say "Rather then have it occupy my mind all day, I decided to just pop it while I had the chance." with a light smile.

Krystal lightly giggles and she says "What do you feel like doing?"

I feel my stomach rumble and I say "Maybe some breakfast?" with a warm smile and a light blush.

Krystal says "Then onward love!" with a smile and she starts pulling me.

I say "Wait, at least give me a chance to keep up!" trying to keep in step with her.

The first thing we do is stop by a diner to grab some breakfast, we find ourselves at a park for a few hours just strolling along and enjoying all the sights and sounds. Krystal talks me into seeing some kind of romance movie, which isn't really my thing but it was double feature with a sci fi movie tossed in, so we both got some good views in... though the popcorn only lasted like five minutes because my eyes were just glued to the movie, much to Krystal's amusement. We grab a quick lunch and we find ourselves at the park once more to eat it, the fall air starting to creep in as the leafs are starting to change color and the air is starting to cool.

Krystal says "Nothing like a good sandwich." and she takes a bite out of it.

I say "Especially when it hasn't been put in cold storage." with an amused smile and I nab a bite of my burger.

Krystal says "What did you eat while you were on your own? I doubt you found a restaurant on Sauria." with a snicker.

I say "Small reptiles mostly, some grain and what the Lightfoot call 'filling soup'." with the thought of that soup causing me to wince.

Krystal says "Hmm, what's in that?" with a raised eyebrow.

I say "I'll tell you after we're done eating." with a playful scowl.

Krystal giggles and she goes back to her lunch. But seriously, filling soup is one of those things that is edible but takes a lot to make it appealing to anyone who doesn't have a taste for it or hasn't had it before. What it is made from is some kind of broth, salt, soaked bread and the most important part of the soup which are grubs that are farmed for the soup because of the protein in them which gives the soup a creamy, cheesey texture... and it's as terrible as it sounds. We finish our lunch and we decide to keep wandering around for a little while, but then we see Fay and Miyu just up ahead and waiting in line.

Miyu notices us and she says "Bro, Krystal, how's it going?" as she waves us over with a smile.

I say "Hi sis, what's going on?" as I smile to her.

Miyu says "A new laser tag arcade opened up and we wanted to check it out."

Fay takes a deep breath and she says "It's been a while since the last time we played, you guys should join us." with an excited smile.

Krystal says "I haven't played in a long time, but sure." with a light smile.

I say "Heck yeah, let's do it." with a smile of my own.

We wait in line for a while but we do make it inside, the place is divided into sixteen arenas and we get what looks like a post apocalyptic city scape, the equipment is made up of a purple plastic backpack with a chest piece with red l.e.d.'s and these stereotypical black rayguns with green l.e.d.'s, I look and I see Fay has two guns plugged into her backpack, kinda overkill but okay. A total of 30 of us enter the arena and we all take our positions with Krystal, Miyu and I on the same team but Fay is on a team all her own, Miyu informs us she prefers to be solo which causes me to shrug. The game starts and in no time chaos erupts as we stick together in a tiny bunker and we start 'firing', the thrill of it hits us instantly and besides, this is battle I can definitely get behind, fake threats and no actual fear, suddenly I can hear laughter but the techno music makes it hard to make out who it is.

I see people running around us, Miyu motions us to find another spot, I cover the rear and Miyu and Krystal take the front, we relocate and I take in the great number of points I just got.

Miyu says "Nice work bro, you covered our rears pretty good." as she glances around a corner.

Krystal playfully smirks as she says "Especially when it's mine."

I blush as I look at the blush vixen, earning a light laugh from the lynx.

Miyu says "Nothing like some innuendo to touch things up."

I look around and I say "Uh, where's everybody?" with my raygun at rest.

I hear "TIME FOR LASER TAG!!!", I quickly look up behind us and I see Fay above us coming down from the ceiling with one heck of a determined look.

My jaw drops and I say "FAY!? WHAT THE HELL?!" just amazed at the sight.

Miyu blushes as she says "I love it when she's like this. It makes her frisky!" with a wide smile and blinking bedroom eyes as she looks at Fay.

I look at Miyu and I say "SIS!" as I roll to cover.

Krystal joins me and she says "Fay gets... a little competitive when it comes to laser tag."

I look to her and I say "A little heads up would have been nice."

Fay comes around and I start dashing, Krystal and Miyu comes running after me.

Miyu says "Nothing like some cat and mouse." with a smile and keeping her blush.

I say "Wait a second, this is your kink isn't it?" as I blindly fire at Fay.

Miyu says "Maaaayyyybeee." as she becomes sheepish.

Krystal lightly laughs as I roll my eyes, my sis is living out some kind of fetish and I'm worried about Fay taking this way too far, I doubt she would but better safe then sorry I guess. I do get some shots on Fay, but she puts every adversary I have been put up against to shame, all I can do is retreat and try to take cover. By the end of the game I'm soaked from sweat and the scoreboard just blows everyone away with Fay only having been hit 13 times and having the highest score.

Fay says "That was so much fun!" with a huge smile.

I'm gasping for air and I say "Maybe take it down a bunch of notches next time?" with a light smile.

Miyu says "You guys wanna hang out for a while?" with a light smile.

Krystal says "I think maybe later, that really wore us out." with a light smile.

Miyu says "Yeah, I'm kinda beat.", she gives me a light hug and she says "Give us a ring when you guys wanna hang."

We say our see you laters and Krystal and I head to the hotel and I go to take a shower with Krystal heading to her room to do the same thing, after my shower I crash on the bed and turn the television on and find a movie playing, which is Total Recall. I hear a beep at my door, I go over and open the door and it's krystal with her hair still kind of wet.

Krystal says "Hi hon." with a smile and she gives me a kiss as she enters.

I say "Hi my sweet vixen." with a smile of my own as I close the door.

We both crash on my bed and we lay back as we start watching the movie, I gently embrace Krystal and she follows up by wrapping her arm around me and placing her furry cheek to the top of my head. I can slightly feel the older vixens breath hit me when she exhales as her tail swing over her legs and because of how long her tail is, she has it wrap around me gently almost like a small blanket. I have to admit, I'm so comfortable and tired from the day, I want to just fall asleep but I want to enjoy this with my now fiancee. I feel Krystal lightly lick my cheek and she lightly flicks her tail, I turn my head to her and kiss her lips, she rubs her nose on mine as she warmly smiles and pulls me more into her. I look into those teal eyes of hers as I glide my fingers from my right through those on her left. I know she's just playfully teasing me, besides I don't mind it, I just like being and holding onto her, feeling her soft blue fur and seeing those gorgeous eyes of hers radiate. I kiss her as I keep holding onto her, I see her tail lightly flicking, I feel her other hand gently place itself behind my head as I feel her tongue enter my mouth for a few moments before we break our kiss, she lets my head go and I lay my head against her, she smiles as she starts to pet my head.

Krystal says "There you go love, lay into your fluffy pillow." with a warm smile and tone.

I happily sigh and I say "So cozy, this is one spot I never want to leave." with a smile.

Krystal kisses me and she says "Me neither." keeping her smile.

I lightly yawn with Krystal following suite, I guess the laser tag really took a lot out of us.

I say "If we fall asleep we'll miss dinner though." with a humorous tone.

Krystal says "If we do we can just do take out, no biggie." and she licks the side of my face again.

I lightly nod and I say "Yeah, the others will understand, it is our first night of being engaged after all. So we'll celebrate in our own way."

Krystal says "Do you want to set an alarm?" with a teasing smile.

I say "Nah, let's just lay here." as a I practically beam my smile.

Krystal lightly giggles and she says "Sweet dreams love."

I kiss her and she tongues me once more with me trying to join her, french kissing even after about a year has never been a skill I could really execute despite my best, but Krystal didn't seem to mind at all. I gently break my kiss with her, for a moment we look into each others eyes once more and we soon fall asleep.
