Dex believed that he would be safe within the confines of the citadel. That humanity will never falter in a world full of beast. Unfortunately, he had little choice but to witness everything that he held dear, burn over the course of a single night. Once a soldier fighting a unwinnable battle, now a survivor. A mind filled with regrets and grief, he must step forward into a unknown world that he once called his home.
