Changes - Part 6
Brent gets a closer look at the wolf!
Caleb wiped the sweat from his eyes and took a swig from his water bottle. Camp day two involved a big hike with some steep hills, and the sun beat down on them from a wide blue sky. Caleb didn't need to change form and rescue anyone. He entertained a fantasy of hiding in the bushes - as a wolf - then leaping out to scare everyone. But of course he didn't actually do that; instead he had to slog up the hills in boring (and slow) human form.
That night, he was still wide awake when they headed back to their tent. They settled in to their sleeping bags, but Caleb wasn't feeling sleepy. After fidgeting for a while, he decided that Brent wasn't sleeping either. Sure enough, he heard a rustling of sleeping bag as the other boy turned towards him. Brent fumbled about for a moment, then he found his battery-powered camping lantern and clicked it on. Caleb blinked in the sudden light.
Brent was propped up on an elbow and looking across at him. All traces of the old Brent were gone - the school Brent, who loved to taunt Caleb. Now Caleb saw something genuine there, and he understood at last: the school Brent was a fake, conjured up to defend the real Brent. And of course, Caleb knew he was the same - always hiding his real self. Hiding the wolf.
"About yesterday..." Brent began, keeping his voice low so it wouldn't carry through the trees to the other tents. "That thing you did. I mean, turned into..." The Wolf. Brent didn't have to say it.
"I'm sorry about that. I didn't mean to scare you but I didn't know what to do. I wasn't strong enough to help - not like this."
"Dude, you don't need to apologize. You saved me. I mean that wolf thing is scary, but... " He hesitated, looking kind of shy. "But, awesome, too!"
"The 'wolf thing' is still me, you know!" Caleb grinned.
"So, you can turn into a wolf, any time, just like that?"
"Well, I've only just discovered it... But yeah."
"Could you do it... Now?" There was the shyness again, but Caleb also caught a look of keen interest. But change into a wolf right then, with Brent watching? That would be weird. And scary.
But Brent was watching him with that new look, the one which was open and maybe even held a bit of genuine warmth, and Caleb felt a weird tingle of affection. They had shared a life-and-death ordeal. Caleb knew then that he was really quite lonely, despite the strength of the wolf. He wished he could share his secret with someone, and Brent had already seen him in wolf form.
But could he actually do it? He closed his eyes and focused for a moment. And yes, he could feel the tingly feeling, could sense the wolf lurking in the back of his mind.
"I can try." He said.
He needed room to move. The metal zipper on his sleeping bag felt cool in his fingers as he slid it down. Then he pulled off his T-shirt. Brent's eyes were still on him, and he felt suddenly embarrassed. He wriggled out of his shorts while still under the sleeping bag. "I have to be naked," he mumbled in response to Brent's questioning look. "You might not have noticed... last time."
He'd need to be free from the sleeping bag, too. That meant Brent would see him naked, up close! Caleb hesitated. But thoughts of the wolf flitted through his mind. The wolf was naked - sort of - but as a wolf, he didn't feel embarrassed at all. He threw the sleeping bag aside and crouched on his bedroll, keeping his head down so that he wouldn't hit the tent roof. Brent watched him intently.
"Are you ready?" Caleb whispered. Inside, he was wondering whether he could really do it, under pressure, with someone watching. Brent was nodding his readiness. Caleb closed his eyes and cleared his mind.
He felt the wolf's presence, just for a moment, a hint of gray fur glimpsed between the trees. Then... nothing. Caleb tried not to think about how silly he looked, crouched there naked and skinny in the pale lamp light. What was different the previous day? Panic, sure. But there was more to it than that. And what about the other times, when he'd changed without effort under the cool bright light of the full moon? The answer surfaced from the depths of his mind like a fish in a dark pond. He had to let go of his human self, with all its shyness and inhibitions.
Caleb let himself drift deeper into the forest in his imagination. He felt stretched out, like some part of him was resisting and pulling him back. When he examined that part, he realized it was frightened. Afraid of the power of the wolf, afraid of letting go.
He was clinging to a ledge above the rushing water. He couldn't let go - he'd be swept away! But in the roaring of the torrent he could hear the clamor of voices telling him all the things he should be doing or not doing. Through all the noise, he remembered the quiet certainty of the wolf. He let go.
He felt a moment of vertigo, and then suddenly the wolf was there, filling his mind with the wildness of the forest. At last he felt the tingly feeling flowing through his body, and knew that the wolf was there, always there, waiting until he was needed. He called the wolf forward, and the change swept through him.
He saw the look of shock on Brent's face even as his senses shifted to those of the lupine. Shock, but also awe and a certain... excitement? Brent's gaze flicked to his pointed ears, then his muscular torso, then lingered for a definite moment on his sheath. Caleb the wolf wasn't embarrassed about his fur-clad, sort-of-naked body. Instead, he felt his wolf nature seeping into his mind. The other boy looked the same, and yet different. The wolf thought he looked... tasty. Did he want to slaughter and eat Brent, like all the wild slavering werewolf beasts from the movies? His human side was horrified for a moment. But no, that wasn't it. The wolf's hunger was different.
Caleb shook off those thoughts. I'm in control, he told himself. Instead, he tried to grin at Brent, although that didn't work very well on his wolf face.
"What do you think?" He asked. His voice was soft and full of gravel, almost like a growl. Pretty sexy, he thought.
"I think..." Brent was still staring at him with wide eyes. "I think it's awesome. You, I mean. I... always liked wolves."
Brent's eyes were less wide now, but the wolf could see something else in his gaze.
"Can I touch you?" Brent asked. Caleb nodded.
Brent extended a tentative hand which brushed his shoulder. Awkward at first, but gaining in confidence. The hand stroked his arm, then slipped down to his soft belly fur. The wolf reacted to that, and a growl almost escaped his muzzle - not because the touch was bad, but because it was good. The wolf wasn't prepared for that kind of vulnerability.
Brent's hand stopped its exploration, or maybe time itself slowed to a crawl. The wolf was used to being in control. To be touched was to release some of that control. He would rather bite, take what he wanted, grab it and shake it.
Somewhere inside, Caleb felt a stab of fear. Maybe he couldn't control the wolf after all! It was too powerful; he wanted to hide from it. Looking at Brent in that frozen moment, he could see the other boy through the wolf's eyes: Soft, defenseless, easily crushed. He thought of the school-hall torments he'd endured, the constant anxiety he'd felt. He could make Brent pay for that. The wolf was focusing his pent-up anger.
And yet he'd seen a completely different Brent on this trip. A Brent he'd saved from the flooded stream.
A Brent he actually... kind of liked.
Something shifted in the wolf right then. Brent looked a lot less bitable, and more... lickable? His touch on the wolf's fur felt less jarring. And now Caleb understood the truth which he should have known from the start. He didn't need to fight for control of the wolf, because he was the wolf. If he wanted to bite someone, it was because he was angry, and he needed to deal with that feeling rather than blame the wolf and pretend it was an out-of-control beast.
And if he liked someone... He allowed himself to relax back into the present moment. Brent's fingers moved down until they caressed the soft fur of his belly, and now their touch brought him a warm tingle of excitement. He knew that he wouldn't let just anyone touch him like that - it felt too good.
"Can you stay like that for very long?"
"Quite a while, I think", he said, still exploring his sonorous new voice.
"You look super cool."
"Thanks!"
Caleb lay back on his mattress and looked up at the tent roof.
"You're acting different." He said. Normally he wouldn't be brave enough for such a conversation, but being a wolf made him a lot more confident. Brent was looking at him with a puzzled expression.
"I mean, compared to school..." He continued. "Normally, you're kind of mean to me."
Brent looked embarrassed. He also lay back and stared into space for a bit.
"Yeah, I guess you're right." He replied after a while. "Sorry. I don't mean to be. But you're so smart and... good looking and everything." Brent spoke quickly, trying to get words out through his embarrassment.
Caleb felt shocked, even as a wolf. Sure, he was pretty good looking in his furry form, but as a human he'd never thought he was good looking, or smart, and he never imagined anyone else would think that.
"But why...?"
"I guess I clown around to hide it, you know, because it's easier."
Caleb nodded. "Like I was hiding the wolf."
Brent turned towards him and edged closer. Human hands caressed his belly fur some more. It felt good.
Brent's hands moved lower.
Fingers brushed his sheath.
Caleb tensed for a moment, surprised by the feeling.
"S-sorry," Brent mumbled. "I didn't mean to..."
Caleb might have freaked out at the thought of being touched like that. But the wolf wasn't so shy, and maybe he kind of liked the idea, deep down. He could feel that familiar tingle of excitement seeping through his body.
"It's OK," he whispered. "I don't mind."
There was a brief pause, but then he felt fingers moving over his fur again, awkwardly at first but gaining confidence. When they played over his balls, teasing him, he felt his breathing grow quicker. Then they were gently squeezing at his cock through his furry sheath, almost as if Brent knew exactly how to excite him. It was working, too; his cock was growing large and hard, the knot stretching out his sheath.
The fingers squeezed gently at the base of his knot, which turned out to be really nice. Caleb stretched out his wolf body and relaxed. It was a bit scary to open himself up like that - he felt vulnerable. But it also felt really good, so he let himself accept the attention.
Now the fingers were pulling back his sheath, and he felt cool air on his swollen cock for a brief moment. Then Brent leaned in, and slipped the wolf's cock into his mouth.
A hand caressing his balls; fingers squeezing gently at the base of his knot; slick heat enveloping his shaft. His paws clamped down on Brent's shoulders as he thrust forward, pushing his cock into the boy's mouth. Brent moved with his thrusts, fingers grasping his knot, tongue toying with the tip of his engorged shaft.
Was he panting loud enough for the rest of the campsite to hear? He hoped not, as the slick warmth wrapping around his cock carried him to the peak of desire. Then it overwhelmed him, and his body clenched in a moment of ecstasy as his hot wolf cum exploded into Brent's mouth.
Caleb collapsed back onto his sleeping bag as his cock pulsed, and Brent happily swallowed every jet. A warm after-glow suffused through Caleb. The wolf was sated, and Caleb felt the beast withdraw back into the hidden depths of his being. Suddenly he was human again, naked, the sleeping bag rustling as he shrunk to his normal size.
Brent gave him a sheepish look as he let go of the normal human cock he was suddenly holding.
"Wow", he said. He looked embarrassed, and Caleb thought he should say something.
"Thanks," he managed, feeling quite awkward now. "That was nice."
Brent rolled back to his side of the tent as Caleb pulled his clothes on, but he kept looking at Caleb. It was a nice look, a comfortable look of something shared.
"I've always thought werewolves were super hot..." He said after a while
"And what about guys, in general?"
Brent leaned over and turned off the lantern before he answered in a quiet voice.
"Yeah... That too."
"Do you always change back when you... you know, cum?" Brent asked after a while.
"Yeah, so far... but I have only just got the hang of it so maybe I'll have more control with practice."
"Practice, huh?" Caleb could imagine Brent's cheeky grin in the dark.
"Does this makes us... boyfriends or something?"
"Dunno... I guess we'll have to wait and see."
"Fair enough."
Caleb felt very sleepy, but he lay awake for a while, his mind still trying to grasp the significance of recent events. This was not how he'd expected camp to go. And what about the future? How did he feel about Brent? He wasn't sure just yet, but whatever, at least he had someone to share his wolf secret with, and that felt good.
