Alien Abduction
Imported from SF2 with no description.
My eyes snapped open and I peered around my room. My digital clock read 2:00 AM as I rubbed my eyes tiredly. Something like this wasn't too abnormal. Often times, I'd wake up in the middle of the night to take a quick pee but not this time. My bladder was completely empty. Shrugging, I rested my head back down on my pillow. About 10 minutes of pure restlessness passed when I saw a ball of yellow light streak across my window, lighting up the dark October night. As soon as I stood up from my bed to react, my entire field of hearing was flooded by an electronic buzzing noise and a hot pink light flashed outside of my window. Immediately, I felt dizzy and collapsed beside my bed.
I spring awake. My eyes darted around the room and I noticed that I was only wearing my underwear. I was also strapped to a steel table and hooked up to all these weird machines. The floor of the room was made up of hard tiles with alien symbols etched onto them. Just then, I felt a pair of eyes watching me from the shadows. The realization hit me all so suddenly, I was aboard an alien spaceship!
I turned my head and saw an alien figure step out into the light. As the light cast upon it, I noticed it had what looked like the upper half of a kangaroo with the legs of a human but with digitigrade feet. It's fur or lack thereof was pitch black and its eyes were humanoid and were a striking shade of amethyst purple in color with a soothing glow to them. At the end of its long snout was a mustard yellow canine-like nose. It wore a single article of clothing, a silklike golden vest with dark blue hieroglyphs inscribed upon it. On its forehead was a single red gem.
The figure stepped forward and closed its eyes, bowing its head. The gem on its forehead began glowing as it spoke telepathetically to me in a motherly sounding voice, "I am so sorry, you were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. My name is Vecktra and I work as a veteranarian on my planet. In case you're wondering, I am female."
"My name is Kurt." I introduced myself, a little bit uneasy, "So why exactly did you abduct me?"
Vecktra walked forward until she was right next to me. She gazed down her long, hairless snout at me as I made direct eye contact with her oddly beautiful purple eyes. Once again, she closed her eyes and her forehead gem started glowing, "That is difficult to explain, Kurt. But I shall try my best to do so." She nuzzled my face with her snout and licked my across my cheek. Even more bizarre, her tongue felt like sandpaper as she licked me. Much like the tongue of a cat.
Breathing a deep sigh, Vecktra began pacing around the examining table that I lay on. Telepathically, she began explaining her story, "Just a few days ago, my beloved pet was run over by a vehicle. He's the last of his kind and has a unique type of blood that other animals and beings on our planet do not possess. I knew I needed to do everything in my power to keep him alive. So I went from planet to planet, abducting other aliens and taking blood samples from them in hopes of finding a compatible match."
"So that's when you came across my planet and abducted me." I observed.
"Precisely." Vecktra nodded, tears beginning to form in her glowing amethyst eyes, "Because maybe, just maybe I'll find a match for my poor Aether. He means the world to me, you can't even begin to imagine."
With that, the hairless kangaroo-like alien stopped pacing and took a seat at the foot of the operating table I was laying on. There was an awkward silence in the air before I swallowed a lump in my throat, "Vecktra, I don't even know what to say..."
At that point, Vecktra hung her head and began choking out telepathic sobs. The tears running down her snout and dripping off the rims of her nostrils had a mysterious silver glimmer to them and began forming a sparkling puddle as they hit the tile floor in front of her.
It was then that I sat up from the steel table. All my fear and unease completely vanished and was replaced by pity for her as I pulled the tubes out of my body. Slowly, I scooted closer to the crying alien and propped myself upon her warm lap. I draped my bare legs over Vecktra's thick, beastly thighs and wrapped my arms around her, pulling her into a quick hug which caused her to cry even harder.
Cupping her face in my hand, I decided to return the favor from when she licked me. I leaned in close and licked Vecktra's tears directly from her snout, dragging my tongue across the drops that hung on the tip of her nose. I quickly noticed that her tears were much warmer and saltier than human ones, about as warm as hot cocoa and as salty as the bottom of a can of cashews. Almost instantly, Vecktra blinked rapidly in shock and stared at me with a blush forming on her face. I then began petting her long snout, wiping away any stray tears that still ran down it with my fingers.
I didn't speak a single word as I performed these tender actions. The last thing I wanted was my words and social awkwardness to betray me. It took a few minutes for Vecktra to regain her composure but when she did, she wrapped her arms around me and pulled me into a tight hug, "Thank you for being so kind and so compassionate with me, Kurt. I just wish more test subjects would be more understanding like you."
"You're welcome, Vecktra." I replied, returning the hug and snuggling closely with her. Her hairlessness made her feel like an oversized hot water bottle as I cuddled up to her.
The alien sighed sadly and hung her head again, "Sorry to cut things short but I must be going right about now. You see, time is of the essence. I must do everything in my power to save Aether. My claws contain a nontoxic venom that works as an anesthetic. After I put you to sleep, I'll dress you back up and send you back home."
"I understand." I replied, slowly rubbing her back as I held her, "You've only come for your sample and you weren't expecting me to awaken."
"Don't be sad, Kurt." Vecktra cooed as a new wave of hot tears streamed down her muzzle and nose, "Maybe our paths shall cross again someday." She pulled a handkerchief from her vest pocket and used it to wipe her tears from her face.
At this point, I felt a salty tear escape my own eye and run down my nose as I blinked. Strange, considering I almost never cry. In response, Vecktra licked my tear from my nose with her rough tongue as I spoke, "Yeah, maybe they will. Good luck helping your pet. But before you put me to sleep, I have one last request."
"What's that?" The alien asked as she stroked my hair.
"This may sound a little creepy but I think I'd like to rest my head in your lap as you put me to sleep." I replied, feeling a blush heating up my face.
"Of course you may." Vecktra responded with a reassuring nuzzle, "Just so long as you make yourself comfortable."
"Promise I will." I said, standing up from her lap and walking away from her. I then sat next to her and lay down, resting my head and rubbing my cheek against her left thigh as she leaned down and gazed into my blue eyes with her own mesmerizing purple ones.
"So long, Kurt." Vecktra said as one final tear rolled down her snout and onto my cheek as she nuzzled me, "Thank you for your cooperation."
And with that, she dug her claws into my shoulder. Even with her venom taking effect, I snuggled close into her warm lap before darkness overcame me and I drifted off into a deep sleep.
I jolted awake to see my clock at 4:30 AM. I was wondering if it was all a dream when I suddenly tasted a drop of extremely salty water on my lips. It dawned on me that it was the same tear Vecktra had shed upon my face as she bid me farewell. I then noticed an ache in my shoulder where Vecktra had dug her sharp claws into me.
Afterwards, I noticed a strange golden vest with dark blue symbols on it hanging in my closet. I immediately recognized it as the clothing that my alien abductor wore. This was proof enough that I just wasn't dreaming. Getting out of bed and walking towards the closet, I noticed that there was a tag attached to it with a note that read:
Dear Kurt, thank you so much for having the courage to hold and comfort me like that. Not a whole lot of aliens have reacted so positively to my abduction of them but you listened to my story and understood my intentions. To thank you for your kindness, you can have one of my vests as a present. I have plenty at home that are just like it. I think it would really bring out those pretty blue eyes of yours, maybe even moreso than my purple ones. I hope you live life to the fullest and spread happiness wherever you go.
-Sincerely, Vecktra.
With a smile on my face, I took the vest off the hanger and put it on. It just so happened to be a perfect fit as I looked at myself in the mirror. Vecktra was right, it really brought out the blue in my eyes. Yawning and stretching, I decided to remove the vest and put it back. I was going to save it for a special occasion.
Slowly walking back to my bed, I lay back down and snuggled close to my stuffed animals, imagining that I was cuddling with Vecktra once more before falling into a deep, peaceful sleep.
The end.
