Alright peeps, I will let you know that in this chapter, I'm just introducing more characters that will be in this story. You may want to remember their names because they will make appearances here on out. But don't be discourage, along with dialogue, I make sure to include a nice piece of action or humor in each chapter, so it won't be so dry and boring XD Anyway, here's chapter 3!

• * * Chapter 3: My kingdom, for a fraternity home. * * * o0Narration0o Alright, so we moved in, got the shit beaten out of us, and got kicked out of our home, all on day one. To add on to our trouble, we've all been crammed into the gym, which is the lamest thing we can ever sleep in. Oh yeah, college life is really sweet, just BRILLIANT!.....lets move on with the story. o0End Narration0o It has been two days since the incident that occurred in the freshman's home. The Freshmen has been bunking inside of the gymnasium of the college, and every now and then, more of them were taken in by fraternity homes. The only homes that really had any room in them, were the Beauty Queens, and...The Alphadogs, which are the jocks mind you. There were still a good number of freshmen who still remained in the gym as of now, waiting for the fraternity homes to pick them. But Guy, and Reid both knew that this will never happen. "Say Reid, how about we ask the girls at the Beauty Queen's to let us stay with them?" Guy asked him, and Reid gave him a look that says, "Your kidding, right?" "Guy, come back to reality. There is no way those girls would let us in with them. Come on now, be real." Reid told him, as he sat down on one of the beds next to Guy, and pulling out what appeared to be a hand held device that played games. "Aw now lets not think like that. I bet if we were to actually summon up the guts to ask them, they would consider it." Guy told him with a glimmer of hope. "Most pretty girls are lonely, because guys are too shy to talk to them. I bet we can easily convince them if we show them we're not pups...or a kitten in your case." Guy laughed lightly. "Trust me Guy. They are NOT lonely." Reid told him, with no intention to shatter Guy's hope. "And how do you know that?" Guy asked him, not letting his idea go down so easily. "Simple...because they have the jocks. I mean, they hang around them everyday." Reid explained why Guy's plan was futile. "That may be true, but we wouldn't know if we don't try." Both of their attention was brought by the principal of the school, who wanted to take a row call. Normally, there was no need for this. But because most of the freshmen are still in the gym, he needed to ensure that they are safe. "Alright, when I call your name, just let me know on whatever way you see fit." Mr. Sparks announced as he begins to call the names. "Limar." "Here." Limar, a zebra who is pretty athletic, and also more attracted towards males. "Takashi." "Here." A young red dragon who looked pretty peaceful. As if he wouldn't harm anyone, not even a fly. "Dexter." "Here." A light green rabbit who cherished books more than anything in the world. "Cid." "Yo!" A blond hedgehog with a trash talking mouth. He's good with machines and gadgets, your typical mechanic. "Juste." "Present." A brown ferret, who has a real passion for theatere. "Benard." "Call me Spit." "Alright...Spit." A silver bat, who is your everyday bad ass. They call him spit because...he can be really obnoxious. "Rass." A loud snapping of the fingers was heard, to let people know about Rass's existence. This blue raccoon is probably the most sneakiest raccoons around. "Sync." "It is an honer..to be of service." This white tiger always sees himself..as a knight of some sort. He's even holding a sword right now. "Guy" Mr. Sparks called out, and received a whistle in return, to let everyone know Guy is here. "And I see Reid is right next to you, so there's no need to call him." Mr. Sparks finished row call, and marked off their names. "Alright, your free to do what you want as usual. Make sure to attend classes, and when you have free time, you can ask the fraternities for a place to stay, or look for your own home." That was the last announcement Mr. Sparks made, before he took his leave. "So...why do they call you spit?" Takashi asked the silver colored bat, who was just shuffling cards in his hands. "Dunno. But I like the name, so I don't care...wanna play poker?" Spit asked him, setting down the cards on his bed. "How do you play that?" Takashi sat down on the bed across from them, while grabbing a table. o0Meanwhile0o Guy and Reid had set out once row call was over, in hopes of finding a fraternity house who would take them under their wing, or a home of their own. They were making a walk towards the Beauty Queen's home, both are somewhat nervous about approaching them. Guy was full of confidence, but Reid on the other hand was skeptical about the whole idea, but was willing to give it a shot. Once they arrived, they could see some members of the Beauty Queens, sitting on the steps of their home, some wanting to get fresh air, or study some of their material. Others were gossiping, and talking among themselves. Luck has it for both Guy and Reid, as the Beauty Queen's captain, Reika, was right in the center of everyone. She was a black fox with such a curvy figure. Her beautiful crimson eyes, plus her long silver hair matched her build perfectly. She wore a tight red T shirt, and skin tight black jeans that did their job of showing how well her assets are. "Wow...." As soon as Guy's gaze fell upon Reika's figure, he could not make a single move. He snapped back into reality, when Reid took one look at him, and smacked the back of his head. "Hey, snapped out of it." Reid told him. "We have to ask em something remember? Wouldn't want you to drool all over their property." "Heh, your right about that...alright, here we go..remember...loosen up...breathe normally...don't panic..just keep calm...and be real smooth." Guy told himself out loud as Reid shook his head. "Well, your failing already. Come on, lets get it over with." Reid shook his head, and started to push Guy forward, while Guy kept himself from moving. "W-Wait! I'm not ready yet!" Guy called out, as Reid just dragged him along. "Too late pal. If you don't have the balls, grow some right now." Reid said to him, as they came into their sight. "Cause they can see us now." Guy regains his composure, and walked in a smooth fashion as planed. The girls took notice of them, and they all stopped what they were doing, all of them wondering why would those two nerds even bother to come here? They did had to admit that they were brave though, not that it will do them any good. "Hello, what can I do for you?" Reika, who is the captain, asked the two nerds that stood before them. The others just stared at the two with faces that told them to go away, right now. Reika on the other hand had a warm smile upon her face. "Well...as you probably know.." Guy spoke out. "Our house has burned down, and we no longer have a place to stay...so we were wondering if you would like to give us a place to stay in? Like any extra rooms, or anything along those lines? Even a house recommendation will help." Guy spoke as smooth as he can, trying his hardest not to lose his cool. "Well, unfortunately, this house is only for girls. But we can recommend you to a house that can suit your needs." Reika spoke out, as she lets one of the other girls, who was a black panther speak for her. "Yeah, you can go stay at the Alphadogs. They have plenty of room for you both, so it shouldn't be a problem." "But...aren't the Alphadogs...the jocks?" Reid had to ask. He was not in the mood to get harassed if they asked them. "Yes, but despite their rough behavior, they are really nice. Why don't you go and see if they will let you in? Just say that we sent you." Another girl answered, who turned out to be a kangaroo spoke up. "Alright, thanks girls. Oh..uh...what if they ask for names?" Guy asked. "Of course, where are my manners? My name is Reika, captain of the Beauty Queens. It is nice to meet you." She actually got up, and shook Guy's hand, which made Guy's entire face turn crimson. "I-Its nice to meet you Reika...if it's alright..maybe one day I can take you out for a cup of...coffee?" Guy asked, part of him cannot believe that he just asked her out. "Sure, why not. It's been a while since anyone's asked me." Reika said with a gentle smile. "A..A...Alright! I mean..Yes! Um...h-here is my cell phone number. J-Just call me up, ok?" Guy's heart practically melted when she agreed to go with him, and he hastily wrote his number down, with his name on the slip. Now he was beginning to lose his cool, so Reid had to save him. Reika takes the number, and gives Guy a wink. "Sure thing...Guy~" She said his name in a rather seductive tone, which almost made Guy faint. "Alright ladies, thank you for your time! We will be going now!" Reid said with a laugh, and quickly drags Guy away before Guy makes a fool of himself. "Reika!" The black panther spoke with disgust. "Why would you go with HIM of all people? Are you crazy?" She asked her. "Relax, its only to make him put down his guard..my true intentions will soon show for everyone." Reika said with a rather devious smirk. "YEAH! MY FOXY CHARM HAS PAID OFF! HOW YOU LIKE ME NOW!" Guy was dancing, and celebrating on what just transpired. "Yeah, I can't believe she actually agreed to go. You either have a horse shoe up your ass, or your blessed by the goddess of luck.." Reid spoke out, but in the back of his mind, he was thinking to himself. "I don't know Guy....that...just seemed a little too easy. Why DID she just accept him like that...and if I recall..she was with one of the Jocks..I am sure of it..." Reid pondered about this to himself, and watched as Guy celebrated. "I don't want to spoil his moment...if something is out of place, I'll be quick to warn him." Reid just made a silent oath to himself. So now, their next stop was at the Alphadog's fraternity home, where the Jocks remain. The two of them procrastinated and waited til it was nightfall to go..which they quickly learn that it was not such a good idea. As they approached the same home they were thrown out of, Guy and Reid could not help but feel a sense of anger, and hatred for what they did. They swallowed their pride for now, and tucked away their anger. All that matter, was to get a home, and if it means being nice to a bunch of assholes, then that is what they will have to do. Walking towards the red double doors was like walking into the gates of hell for the two. Who knows what the jocks had in store for them. For all they knew..the Jocks must have known they were coming. Guy hesitated in knocking on the doors first, then he summoned up enough courage to carry out his plan. Three hard knocks were enough to get their attention. The scary part about the whole thing...they were expecting to witness a party. Instead, every light in the house is off, and it was awfully quiet. One of the jocks who was wearing a black cloak, and a hood so dark, the only thing you can see is a pair of glowing eyes..and the ones who were looking right at them at the moment, were orange with black slits in the middle. "What do you want?" A mischievous voice asked. "U-Um...we are here to see if you'll let us stay in your home." Reid answered with a nervous laugh. "Hmmmm...." Suddenly, the door shuts on the two of them. They were about to walk away, thinking they were turned down. Then all of a sudden, the door opens again, but wider this time. The voice spoke to them again, but that cloaked animal was no where to be found. "Follow the faint light...go towards it." Guy and Reid were looking around for him, but could not find him anywhere. "GO!" The voice boomed out to them, making Guy and Reid run towards the faint light that barely dimmed the darkened halls. The light lead them to a large room. The room had torches that were attached to the wall, and a table that were surrounded by a lot of cloaked animals, each one having the same appearance as the one that was met at the door. Some were taller than others, and some were buffer than others. Overall, they all have the same creepy appearance, and not one of them failed to send a chilling feeling of fear on Guy's and Reid's spines. Then, the cloaked animals all turned their bodies towards Guy and Reid, in perfect union. "You, who wishes to stay in the house of the Alphadogs, must pass a test of strength, coolness, and pride. Fail these tests, and you shall suffer a great punishment. Do you accept?" All of them...spoke in perfect union. But it wasn't enough to send Guy and Reid back home. "We'll take it on! And show you all what we're made of!" Guy said with his confident smile. "Very well...." Only one of the members spoke this time, and pulled off his hood, walking towards Guy and Reid. It turned out to be Rude, the black wolf, who had a pretty sadistic smile on his face. "I am Rude..captain of the Alphadogs. We will test you in various locations of the college ground tomorrow, since it's Saturday...get some rest. Your going to need it." A wicked grin formed on Rude's muzzle. "Husky! Blade! Escort these two ladies will ya?" A few minutes later, the double doors of the Alphadogs opened, and two nerds were sent flying right out of them. "WHAAAAAAAAAAAA!!" They both landed on the ground with a hard thud, and the two looked back up at the two cloaked animals, who were laughing their asses off. "See you tomorrow, bitches." Then they shut the doors, their laughing still can be heard. "I don't know about this Guy...I have a baaaaaaaaaaaaaad feeling about this." Reid got up, and dusted himself off, and Guy proceeded to do the same thing. "Eh...I'm sure they are just trying to psych with our minds. Don't let it get to you." Guy answered with confidence. * * * Ok, not exactly how I planned to end the chapter folks. I wanted to include the crazy tests they have to take, but it would be long enough to be another chapter's worth. So on the next installment of ROTN, it shall be dedicated to pure madness!
