Day: 3 - Saturday (Dawn)

A drink to this girl, a drink to that guy and the night goes on ...
Surprisingly the orders are all quite simple and don't diverge much from what I'm used to preparing.
No "Surprise me!" bullshit. I wouldn't know what to do if somebody said that... I'd probably just add alcohol to the point where they couldn't even say if it was good or not ...
As the night grows shorter, so does my patience for taking selfies with drunkards who immediately post them on Social Media with some uncomfortable caption that only someone drunk would write.
Things like: "Look at this cutie <3", and "Came here for the bartender" are things I don't appreciate randomly being thrown around about me, especially from some of these people.
But what can I do? Arguing with someone drunk is useless so I just let it slide.
I'm below the counter messing with the bottles when I hear a familiar voice.
"I'd like a drink".
I bang my head against the counter while getting up. It made quite a loud noise but it was muffled by the loud music going on.
Zarblu - OUCH!
I scratch my head and say my usual line.
Zarblu - And what will it b-
I stand there in shock.
It's Ari!
Ari - Surprised to see me here?
Zarblu - Uh... Actually, yeah! Didn't think you'd come to a place like this... Welcome to my shitty job.
Ari - Well, you're right. I wouldn't come to a place like this, but I found out you were here and I needed to come see if that suit was actually real or not. And I am gladly surprised.
Zarblu - You found out ?... And please don't talk about the suit ...
Ari - Wasn't hard. All the university girls are going crazy on Social Media for you ... It's probably just because they're drunk though.
Zarblu - Oh really ? If I recall correctly you said a minute ago you came here to see me wear this suit.
Ari - Think what you will.
Zarblu - You did say you wanted a drink. What will it be ?
Ari - I don't know... Surprise me!
Zarblu - Erm... No. Last time I tried that we had an ambulance pick someone up. So how about I just get you a Martini or something?
She gives me take cute smile of hers accompanied by laughter.
Ari - A Martini will do.
I prepare the drink in front of her. Even though the drink is not complex at all, I try to be as fancy as possible and make it into a sort of circus act.
She watches me attentively and when I'm done pouring the drink in a glass and handing it to her she says.
Ari - Wow! Impressive... I bet drunk girls aren't the only ones falling for you when you can move your hands like that.
She laughs at her own joke, knowing that it bothered me.
Zarblu - You really know how to push my buttons don't you? My boss is one of those people who'd like to see my hands get some more use and he creeps me the hell out.
Ari - Wait! The real Naughty Fox is interested in you? Wow! Now that's a nice one to post on social media.
I see Ari take her phone from her pocket, open an app and start typing.
Zarblu - I'll have none of that!
I take the phone from her hands in one swift motion and she angrily yells over the loud music.
Ari - HEY!
Zarblu - You did mess with my phone first. I think it's only fair I get to mess with yours for a bit...
I open the contacts list and my name is the first one to come up in the favourites.
Zarblu - Uuuh. I'm in the favorites list.
I see her blush intensely.
Ari - Give it back now!
I hand her the phone back.
Ari - Don't get cocky, the phone did that by itself!
Zarblu - Of course it did.
I give her a smug smile.
Ari crosses her arms and faces away from me.
Ari - Hmph!
I bend over the counter to get closer to her and say:
Zarblu - Don't leave just now, my shift will be over in a bit. I want to talk to you in a place where I can actually hear myself think.
After serving some more customers I check my phone for the time and then get back to Ari.
Zarblu - I'm done here for the night. I have to go take this darn suit off and then I'm good to go. Can you wait in the back of the building ?
Ari - Hmm... sure.
Zarblu - Great! Be right back
I go into the staff room, take the suit of, put on my own clothes and head to the backdoor.
I exit the building and look around, but Ari isn't there... Did I piss her off by stealing her phone ?
I make my way to the front of the building and I see Haida talking to Ari.
My blood starts rushing and I hurry to get to them.
