Part 24

My heart was thumping as we got out of the car. Carson's tail was wagging furiously, the coiled whip slamming into my backside. If that was intentional he was one horny husky, if it wasn't, well, then he was just as excited as I was. I wasn't even just excited at the fact I would be spending a night with Carson alone having sex and cuddling and kissing, but also because of the hotel. It was called the Marimutt, a chain of hotels that ranged from okay to holy-shit-this-is-nice. The one near us was probably in the damn-girl range.

Tall building were beginning to sprout up around our little town, well, I call it little. Lately, according to my parents, it's grown into a larger, more diverse neighborhood. Mostly the more "diverse" groups don't wander to where I live; they stay closer to the bigger building, with the bigger malls, which, coincidentally, held the bigger guys. I went there often with Sera and Kit and a few of their friends to shop, chat, and have a good time. The beaches here were nice too. The sea air permeated my nose and sent the familiar thrills I once had of going to the beach. Carson did a good job.

A really good job. The building in front of us was a looming ten -twelve, maybe?- story building. The exterior was okay, sort of a plain peach color like most hotels. Once you crossed into the lobby it was a totally different story. The light caramel tiled floor accentuated the beige walls adorned with painting of landscapes (mostly beaches). A large fountain had been converted into a planter, the leaves draped over the sides and cascaded down to the floor like an emerald waterfall. One wall of the lobby, the side that you would see when you walk in, gave way to a picturesque view of the sea holding a mirror image of a waxon gibbous moon (thank you useless astrology class).

There weren't many people sitting in the lobby, only one family of foxes and a ferret in a business suit. No one gave us a second look, except the little vixen who was doing everything in her power to stay awake. She might've been seven or something.

This town seemed to be swimming with foxes. A vixen stood behind the marble counter and smiled as we walked up. She was very cordial, asking how things were, where we were from, talked a little about how much she loved it here. She finished off with a "Hope you boys have a good time" and winked.

Carson's ears flicked, but he didn't say anything. I told her thank you and followed him to the elevator.

"You okay?" I asked when the doors shut.

He looked down at me and smiled. "Why wouldn't I be? I'm with-"

I chuckle. "Don't say it."

The door opens to floor six. We step off and take a few minutes to find our room (it proves harder than I thought it would be). After we find it and walk in, I'm pushed up against the door by a tower of fluffy muscle.

His muzzle's in my ear, nuzzling around, sending pleasure shooting down into my crotch. Damn him and his knowledge of fox weaknesses.

**

We ended in the bed panting and satisfied. Our musk filled the room, and I silently hoped the fox family didn't walk past our door. Carson's arm came around to grab me into a hug. His claws dragged lightly across my skin, falling down to my backside. I shifted towards him and rested my head on his chest. The few nibbles he gave to my satellite dish-like ears sent shivers down me.

"That was really good," he said.

I glanced up at him. He had on his smile, though it looked a little awkward with his tongue hanging out. But he was cute all the same. "Just great?"

He squeezed my rump. "You know what I mean."

"Oh, shame for you I guess," I said and snuggled into his ruffled chest fur.

"Oh? And why's that?"

"I_was_ going to say that I could turn 'good' into 'great'. But-"

He flipped me over in one quick motion. Smiling down at me, he leaned closer, his muzzle close to my ears. "In that case..." His breath was hot against the long hairs in my ear and sent more shivers through me. This time they didn't go to my spine.

"Round two."
