Krystal, Blaire and Mitch 8 - The Peace of Hope
#9 of KBM
The storms had passed and the peace had stirred from it's long rest as the team assembled back at the lair, successful in their goal to rescue all their lost companions. Fox and Falco had celebrate their freedom with a bit of fun while Renamon cooked a meal to thank the team for her rescue. Mina was finally reunited with Raven, embarrassing him in front of the others. Good times were had by all apart from one who was tucked up in bed in a bad shape. It seemed that the encounter with mercenary and the fight had completely drained Blaire and she was wrapped up in the thick sheet of her room, drowning in a deep sleep that had lasted several days. Her eyes fluttered with new life for the first time in days as the energy return to her muscles. Her bones ached with wear and her head swelled with amnesia of the past events. A darkened figure took shape in front of her behind her long, luxurious eye lashes. The skin tight body suit...the white fur...the big ears and wings... Blaire came to realisation as she suddenly crawled away to the corner of her bed. "Wha...what are you doing here?" she cried, desperately questioning what happened. "Ssshhh I'm here for you..." replied the figure. "No...No this shouldn't...I..." "I'm here for you Rebecca and always have been." "THAT'S NOT MY NAME!!!" In front of her, perched tenderly on the bed corner was the infamous Rouge with a concerned look on her face. "Come to me my child." "No, I can't! I don't want to see you!!" "Why? Why did you run away so many years ago," she questioned, tears forming in her eyes, "Me and Lalon have been worrying sick about you ever since you left the temple. Stop all this and return with me. You could live with me and Lalon as a family again; Renamon would cook and we could take you..." "ENOUGH!!!" screamed Blaire with her hands to her ears. She tightly clenched her eyes with her back turned towards Rouge, trying with such drive to conceal any tears. "You act as if we could be a happy family and life together; as if you control my fate and that's what I would want. I don't love you or Lalon. I am not your daughter...not your Rebecca. My name is Blaire and I have no parents and no family. I live for myself and myself alone not for some lovey-dovey farcical bullshit." Tears began to roll down Rouge's face as her heart sank lower and lower in depredation. Her lips hesitated at the words of what she was about to ask, wanting greatly to keep the silence of uncertainty. "Wo...would you like me to leave?" "...Yes..." Holding her hands to her face, Rouge rushed from the room in her sorrow and heart ache as Blaire kept her pride close.
The door slowly creaked open after days of almost complete darkness. Krystal, in an attempt by the police to force an apology, had locked her in solitary confinement with only her thoughts and the unending shadow to comfort her. The light seemed to be of an enemy to her as she crawled away from the beams braking through the darkness. "Well...it's seem we'll have to go to longer lengths..." Grabbing her by the collar of her straight jacket, the police officers dragged her through the corridors and thrust her into yet another jail cell. After nearly losing her mind and will so many times, Krystal couldn't help but break down and cry with thoughts of Sally and the children flooding back. She would give anything to be with them. A noise echoed through the prison block, the sound of a radio announcing the news which caught Krystal's attention. "The case of the blue vixen is still yet to be concluded. Police have not yet found any bodies of the missing and most have been pronounced dead. Krystal, the thirty-six year old vixen convicted of her charges of kidnapping and even murder on some accounts, has yet to confess her suspected crimes. It seems a new gang comprised of Krystal's children and other of the same age have been terrorising main establishments through the star-system in what police are calling ‘a vain attempt at media coverage'. Since the case is of such a high importance, the children have been placed on a wanted list, dead or alive." Krystal's eyes widened to the horror, dead or alive... She felt sick and wanted to close her eyes and see her Sally again. Yet, because of her innocence, her children were being hunted down by the police like dogs. She knew what she had to do.
Sly sat on his bed, engaged in a project with a new type of combat bow knew the poised rattle on his door echoed loud. At first he could not here over the sweet sizzle of his min-blow torch as he continued diligently with his welding. Another much louder knock attracted part of his attention, "Come in," he grumbled under his sweat drenched brow. A figure walked in and placed herself in front of him with a cocky smile on her face. From her familiar fur and shape, Sly could tell it was Jewel but he was far too intrigued with his weapon to stop. "How nice of you to pop in, Jewel!" chuckled Sly through his welding glasses, sticking his tongue out as he began to examine the weapon deeply. "I just thought that I should thank you for earlier. You really did help me and Cassandra greatly in the battle. Besides," giggled Jewel as she bent over towards him Pushing the bow out of his sight, he found two plump breasts staring back at him, concealed only by the smallest of tube tops. She wore a mini skirt and high boots with some cute make-up on. Sly could feel the drool begin to pool in the back of his mouth. "I haven't got to kiss you yet!" She leaned into him and gave him a deep, loving kiss he had never experienced before. She tasted so pure, so sweet. Closing his eyes, he was lost in her astounding presence, bathing in the lustful atmosphere. Her hand found it's way to his chest and began heading south until culminating at his crotch. Pulling away and taking a deep breath, Sly took a second to place himself back into reality. "Jewel," he questioned, "Are you sure this is what you want?" With a cheeky smile from her, Sly pulled her in for another kiss as the pair hit the bed.
Miranda was flicking through the channels on the TV when an anomaly snuck in behind her. Taking her position, the enigma vaulted over the sofa and straight on top of an unsuspecting Miranda. Taken back, Miranda pushed the figure off to find and giggling Cassandra above her. "Well what do I have here? A defenceless little vixen for me to feast upon? I have truly been blessed," giggled Cassandra, wrestling Miranda's arms above her head. "Get off Cass!" tittered Miranda. "I'll get off when I have my fun!!!" "Wolfe!" cried a serious voice from the background. Cassandra rolled off of Miranda and, like a wounded pup, sat with her tail between her legs on the adjacent sofa. Mitch leisurely strolled in, pecking Miranda on the cheek before falling to the sofa beside her. "I know what trouble you get in, leave my granddaughter out of it!" he smiled heartily. "I'll get you later," sneered Cassandra, presenting her tongue playfully. "So, what's on?" asked Mitch. "Dunno granddad," chuckled Miranda, throwing him the remote, "Find something good to watch." Mitch began to diligently flick through the channels (paying little attention to what images were flashing by) until something caught his attention. A blue blur flashed by as Miranda jumped up in realisation. "Quick, turn back!" The team found a familiar face on the screen as Chloe and the other Wolfes joining them in interest. Shackled by the hands and feet, Krystal was escorted to a podium in front of a waiting crowd and reporters. The scene was outside the courthouse and alit with various camera flashes, hands and pencils appearing at the bottom of the screen to signal curiosity and questions. With a brave yet stern look on her face, Krystal took to the mic. "I stand before you a woman in need of justice. A justice I have tried so desperately to avoid but for no longer. I come in confession and grief." Sally held her mouth, shaking her head slowly as if to will Krystal not to continue. She knew what was coming next. "The crimes and charges placed against me are fully within the boundaries of truth. I must confess to the kidnapping of many of my friends and the murder of Fang, the Dragon Hero. For this I am sorry but believe the fine law enforcement services will take the appropriate action in my punishment. I only hope that my example can be that suitable for my children..." Holding back her tears, Krystal was dragged away from the baying crowd of reporters by two policemen as the room sat in silence. "She...she sacrificed herself for us..." stuttered Ruby, tears silently streaming down her now pale cheeks. "We're out of time," began Mitch, "We need to make our move." (((The horror! Will this be it for the famous blue vixen or will the team get to her in time? And what will happen with Blaire and her mother? Will Sly and Jewel ever become the couple they have dreamed of? And what would Fang say? All these questions and more will be answered in due course! Sally, Ruby and Cassandra Wolfe, Sly, Blaire, Lalon and Mitch are under copyright of me, SPAMZZKRR. Miranda is under copyright of the hectic ChloeTheFirefox while Jewel is under copyright of the ever nonchalant Dragon Knight. Comment brothers!)))
