The song is about a battle between two mortal enemies, but it seems they know eachother well. Thus, at the part of the song where one is be defeated, this text popped in my head.
If someone would be my saviour,
It would have been you,
Darkness will take me,

Thank you my friend,
For ending me,
For stopping me,
When I couldn't stop myself,
Now finish me,
Before I can finish you,
Be done with it,
Grant me rest,
For if you won't,
I won't forgive you,
I will come after you,

Haunt your dreams,
So for once and for all,
