Surviving Solitude Part 2
The birds chirped in the late morning air. Trees brushed against one another up above, in harmony with the tall grass we took shelter in. The river was trickling out it's usual current, flowing from the northern mountains. The air here was sweet with the smell of flowers and honey, which put me into a sleepy, relaxed state. I felt like laying down and falling asleep here, despite the initiative of getting to the bottom of what these intruders want. Daniel was dusting off his clothes in the cutest little way, I had to grin. That grey wolf was so docile, you'd think he'd be too timid to kill a zombie. But when we encounter one, he always trolls them, even if it's a bunch.
"We can't stay here while they take over my house." Said Grant with determination and anger. "Here's how we ought to tackle this problem. Chase and Daniel can take the back door, Nate and Aiden can take the front door. I'll go and take the basement entrance. Everyone still has their keys?" We all nodded. We always bring our keys dodo. "Good. Now, we need to move stealthily. I'll around in a wide circle, while you guys go straight to where you need to go. Oh, don't make too much movement in the crops, and stay low. They could be anywhere." Everyone got up, and followed suit as planned. When we stalked through the maze of tall plants, Daniel grabbed my paw. His paw was shaky, but his tail wagged like mine. We approached the house close to one another. There was no movement, inside or in our tails. At the back door, there was a little platform by it. When we reached up, I stood with my back on the wall, next to the door. Daniel, ready to kick the door, nodded at me. I nodded back. With a kick of his left leg, which was pretty thin, opened the door. Almost instantaneously, a gun was fired.

Inside was nothing but the hall, the living room, stairs to 2nd floor and basement, and a person with a gun. The next thing I new, was that my right thigh was pierced by a bulled. The pain made me buckle and I tumbled backwards down the stairs. It was excruciating, each movement intensified the misery and shock of my body. I screamed and yelped, but nothing came, for the wind was knocked out and seemed as if it wouldn't return any time soon. I rolled over onto my stomach, looking out into the distant mountains. I had nothing on my mind but to grab at the grass, or to crawl forward. I didn't know why, but I felt like my life depended on it. The wound was stung as if a lighter was on it. The pants were wet, and ruined like my fur. Paws crawled past my ribs, and lifted me off. The air felt cold on my thigh, which brings back the pain. As I was dragged through the door, I saw a corpse. It was a goat, or rather the remnants. It's head bashed into a pulpy mush of red and pink. They set me on the couch in the living room, and Grant looked closely at my wound. I blushed a little bit, for nobody has ever been so close to my groin, even if they weren't looking at it.
"We have to clean it. Take his pants off. Chase, cover his eyes." With those orders, Chase came and straddled me, enough to expose my legs as they were stripped bare. My face was buried into his chest, where I could feel his muscles and heart beating quickly. My arms squeezed his back as fingers dug into the wound. I was about to scream, when he kissed me. All pain, all time, was gone. Nothing was of existence when he kissed me. Our tongues swirling like a waltzing couple. His mouth tasted of water, which made me thirsty for more. As our lips parted, a line of saliva was stretched from our parting lips. Looking up at the husky's eyes, which looked back at mine, I knew I complicated things for us. Just as he reached for another kiss, he was held back by a hand, and I passed out when reality came rolling back.

"Chase," said Nate, pulling me back, "Chase!" I looked at his wound, which was close to his beautiful package. It was a splatter of red, with red on Grant's fingers. "We don't have antibiotics, or anything to clean his wound. At least the bullet is out."
Grant spoke up after looking at his wound once more, "We can go into town to see if there is anything left."
"But it's infested! We could never make it out-"
"Nonsense," interrupted Grant, "we can go in and out like a drill we've done before. As for Daniel, we'll need someone look after him." I could look after him, but I don't know if they would let me. Especially after I kissed him, and that everyone here knew I was gay and had feelings for him, except for Daniel. That's why I always hang out with him, because when I am with him, I feel comfort. This wolf is the reason why I'm still pushing on, even though he is pushing for everyone; everyone can tell.
"I can do it." I said promptly. Everyone slowly tilted their head over to me, Nate shaking his head. Raising my arms slightly up from my sides and bent at the elbow, I asked, "What? It's not like I'm going to do anything to him."
Pointing a finger at me, the stocky ram said, "Dude, we know you care a lot about him. But it's just-"
"We don't you two making 'pancakes' while we are gone." Interrupted Grant once more. My heart felt pressure, like my gut is trying to burst out of my mouth. The fact that he thought I would do that to our friend without his consent, is just plain wrong.
The bull stepped in, saying, "Aw come on. Why can't he just stay here. I mean it's not like we are abandoning them completely. We have to go into town, get the medicine and stuff, then run out before he gets an infection or something. Now how long would that take?" Aiden was right, we were arguing over who should watch over him, when we had a bigger problem at hand. Realizing the urgency, everyone began preparing to go.
"If I see a mess when we get back, I'll slap you so hard, every last zombie on the planet will hear it." Warned Grant before they left.
Turning to the unconscious wolf, I decided to at least tend to the wound. I gingerly wrapped his bloody thigh with a cloth. I then picked up his majestic body off the couch, and brung him upstairs. His face was bliss to my eyes, and I devoured every millimeter of his body. My eyes ate up his face, slowly working down the neck, then at the chest. I was proud of him, for working as hard as we have been. Now, he has a beautiful body. I unzipped his jacket, exposing his soft torso that made me dazed with lust. I must have drooled a bit, because when I looked down, there was a wet spot on his thigh. I went down and licked it. My nose was close to his prized possession. I could almost smell it, but can see an outline of his jewels. My heart was now ready to blow a nuke, I could just take him all for me, right now. But that would break our bond I worked so hard to get. Pulling back, I stripped down to my underwear, and then spooned with him for a while. I was the big spoon, one hand on his shoulder moving like I was slowly pumping a shotgun, the other holding my head up to see his sleek face. I moved my face close to the sleeping wolf, snuggling our necks together. Just as I did so, his eyes pried open, his pupils peered deep to my retina. I then realized that I must have been poking around his body a bit too much.
