Chapter 2: F you!

Kitsune looked out the window and saw FU in the distance. He then put his head to the screen and began to wag his tail.

"Damn it" shouted Ryu grabbing Kitsune's tail and yanking "I can't drive with that thing in my face".

Kitsune gave out a yelp then rubbed his tail.

"Bastard" spoke Kitsune "Hey isn't that Kagome". Kitsune pointed out of his window toward a dog woman.

"Holy Buddha!" shouted Ryu stopping the car "Your right".

Kitsune opened his door and jumped out. Then he walked over to Kagome (doggy girl) shortly followed by Ryu.

"Hey Kagome" spoke Kitsune.

"Who are you?" asked Kagome looking at Kitsune perplexed.

"It's me Kitsune" he spoke "You don't remember me?"

"Oh Kitsune" blurted Kagome "sorry....Ryu!" Ryu then embraced Kagome.

"Why are you walking?" asked Kitsune.

"I was going to look at dorms on my way" answered Kagome.

"I see" spoke Kitsune "You could stay with us at my dorm".

"Your' dorm" questioned Ryu letting go of Kagome.

"Yes my dorm" shouted Kitsune "I'm paying for it".

"Stop it you two" spoke Kagome in a weak voice.

"So you think I can't pay for it!" shouted Ryu.

"Why aren't you if you can" shouted Kitsune back.

"Oh that's it" shouted Ryu raising his fist.

"STOP IT!" Shouted Kagome in a commanding voice which made Kitsune fall to the ground with his hands over his head and made Ryu fall onto his back.

"That's better" spoke Kagome "It doesn't matter who is paying for it...Are you sure I can stay".

"Yes" spoke Kitsune looking a little timid "It's a four person dorm".

"yay" shouted Kagome! Kitsune stood up, then dusted his vest off.

"Kitsune where is your shirt?" asked Kagome.

"Wha" grunted Kitsune.

"Ha, see in your face Kitsune" spoke Ryu getting to his feet.

"tch" grunted Kitsune "Fine It's coming off then".

"Wait It's not a big deal" spoke Kagome as Kitsune had the vest half way off. Kitsune then put it back on.

"Let's get going" spoke Kitsune.

"Wait" spoke Ryu "No hurry. Let's talk for a while".

"I have to wait for someone any ways" spoke Kagome.

"Oh" spoke Kitsune "Alright I'll wait".

Kitsune then sat down in Indian style on the grass. Ryu and Kagome joined him.

"You don't look the same Kitsune" spoke Kagome.

"Yeah I know" spoke Kitsune "I let my fur grow and I'm wearing this collar".

"You wore that collar when I met you" spoke Kagome.

"No this one is thicker" retorted Kitsune "The other one wasn't tight enough on the neck. Every time I jumped it would hit me in the chin".

"Oh" spoke Kagome.

"How tight is that" asked Ryu with a smirk.

"Hey you stay away from me" spoke Kitsune grabbing his tail.

"What's that all about?" asked Kagome?.

"Nothing" grunted Ryu.

"He yanked my tail" spoke Kitsune pointing his pointer claw at Ryu.

"He wouldn't stop wagging it in my face" shouted Ryu.

"STOP IT!" shouted Kagome.

"Yes ma'm" spoke Kitsune embracing his tail and shoving his face behind it.

"Yes" spoke Ryu falling onto his back again.

"Anyways" spoke Kitsune wagging his tail away from his face "how have you been?"

"Yeah" spoke Ryu "you don't notice something about me". Ryu then started to flex.

"Yeah" spoke Kagome "You got a hair cut. Just kidding yeah, you're a giant".

"Yeah" spoke Ryu "At least I do something constructive instead of grooming myself Kitsune". Kitsune grabbed his tail and then rubbed it all over his face.

"Tch" grunted Kitsune "I would look weird with muscle".

"Hey" spoke Kagome "Ryu have you got those glasses yet?"

at this Ryu pulls a pair glasses from his kimono then put them on.

"Yeah" spoke Ryu. Kitsune fell onto his back caressing his stomach and laughing.

"Oh...oh..oh god" laughed Kitsune "That just looks out of place. Sorry".

"I know" spoke Ryu.

"Hey Kitsune" spoke Ryu.

"what?" asked Kitsune looking at Ryu questioningly.

Then Ryu grabbed the chain connected to Kitsune's collar.

"Egh" choked Kitsune. Then Ryu let his grip go.

"Just finding out how tight it was" spoke Ryu. Kitsune adjusted his collar and gave Ryu a mean glare.

"Bastard" spoke Kitsune rubbing the edges of his neck.

"It couldn't have hurt that much" spoke Ryu.

"Have you ever had a giant brutish wolf pull on your metal collar!?" shouted Kitsune.

"Hey come on don't do this again" spoke Kagome. Kitsune looked by Ryu's shoulder his ears wiggling in place and his tail wagging.

"Dude don't look at me like that" spoke Ryu pulling his head back slightly.

Then Kitsune dashed forward pushing Ryu onto his side and then came to a stop near an arctic fox.

"Sakura chan" spoke Kitsune holding his arms out readied for a hug.

"Is that....you Kitsune" spoke Sakura (arctic fox) walking into the hug. Ryu walked up beside Kitsune followed by Kagome.

"Here you are" spoke Kagome.

"I barely recognize you all. Except for you Kagome you still look the same" spoke Sakura "Kitsune, Your fur is longer and you look taller. Ryu your so..... 'big' your almost a giant".

Kitsune let go of the embrace.

"Hey, you have such pretty muzzle fur now" spoke Sakura "You didn't use to have it".

Ryu let out a laugh. "Yeah he was a little slow growing it but now it's bigger than mine. His tail has also got longer" spoke Ryu "But he's as scrawny as ever".

"Come on Ryu stop making funny of Kitsune" spoke Kagome "It's only gonna start a fight".

"Hey Ryu when did you start working out" asked Sakura then embracing Ryu.

"Over the summer" spoke Ryu "It was a lot of work but Kitsune came over a few weeks and sparred with me. Some how though he never gains a pound of muscle or fat".

Sakura let go of the embrace then walked up to Kagome.

"When did these two get here?" asked Sakura.

"Before I got to the dorms to check them out" spoke Kagome.

"Oh, Sakura" blurted Ryu as Sakura embraced Kagome "Would you like to stay in 'our' dorm?"

"Yes I would be happy to" spoke Sakura letting go of Kagome "Oh my, I didn't notice the collar. What happened, you meet a girl?"

"ugh" grunted Kitsune "You didn't notice the collar I wore when we finally met in person"?

"No you were wearing a Kimono then it didn't catch my eye. Now Ryu's wearing a kimono and....glasses?".

"Yeah" spoke Kitsune "Come to think of it I was. But I thought it would stand out over the kimono".

"It's cute" spoke Sakura "But doesn't the chain hurt when you run?"

"ummmm" exhaled Kitsune "It never hit's me the way the link is made is so that it always goes to the left side or right side of my face. It never hits me It never hits other people cuz' I don't normally wear it long".

"Hey let's go to the dorms" spoke Ryu.

"Yeah" spoke Kitsune "I just wanna lay down. It's really been a fast day. Tommorow we have to go to our classes. FU is supposed to be a really strict school too. So Ryu no making a scene on the first day".

"Hey I wouldn't be talkin'" spoke Ryu "I'm not the one not wearing a shirt, and wearing a metal collar with a chain on it".

"Your just jealous because you don't have such beautiful fur like mine" shouted Kitsune turning to face Ryu "And your tail is short too".

Kagome then looked behind herself at her own tail then looked Kitsune feeling a little annoyed.

"Like I wanna giant bushy thingy flinging around for every one to see" shouted Ryu "I have better things to do than groom myself every five seconds".

Then Sakura looked behind herself at her won bushy long tail and then looked Ryu annoyed.

"You slow brutish Wolf!" shouted Kitsune.

"You weak scrawny fox!" shouted Ryu back.

"Big nose!" shouted Kitsune.

"Bitch!" shouted Ryu.

"Bastard!" shouted Kitsune.

The two girls stood at each others shoulders turned to each other and nodded.

"SHUT THE HELL UP YOU TWO!" they shouted in unison.

Kitsune fell onto his back his face hid behind his hands, and his tail in between his legs, Ryu had his back turned laying with his face near the ground his nose almost touching the earth.

"NOW SAY YOUR SORRY" they shouted once more in unison!

"I am sorry Ryu" spoke Kitsune looking truly sorry as did Ryu.

"Yeah me too, just got carried away" apologized Ryu. They both got up and shook hands.

"That's the Kit and Ryu we like" the two girls spoke in unison.

"Wait, please don't call me Kit" spoke Kitsune. Kitsune then started to walk towards the van.

"I call shot gun" he shouted to the rest who were still standing there.

"Let's go" spoke Ryu walking towards the driver seat door. The girls followed them to the van. Kitsune then hopped into the van followed by Ryu. Then Kagome sat behind Kitsune's seat and Sakura sat behind Ryu's seat.

"What are all the boxes for" asked Kagome?

"Mine and Kitsune's stuff" answered Ryu.

"Where's your stuff girls" asked Kitsune turning around in his seat which placed his tail in front of Ryu's face.

"Damn it" shouted Ryu "I told you I can't drive like this".

Ryu grabbed the tail in hand but didn't do anything with it except push it out of the way.

"anyways , where is your stuff" asked Kitsune?

"Oh, ours is supposed to be coming tomorrow" spoke Kagome "We were only going to see the dorms today, but we would rather not have to leave and then come back".

"Yeah, it sounds better" spoke Ryu.

"Ryu" spoke Kitsune in a questioning tone "You brought you computer right"?

"Yeah. Why" asked Ryu.

"Yay" shouted Kitsune "I need to work on something this year and I would prefer to use your computer".

"Okay that's cool I guess" spoke Ryu "as long as you don't use it for anything bad".

"Hey Ryu" blurted Kitsune "Why do you wanna take human life"?

"Because don't know much about them, I Thought it would be something cool to learn, hell you could use it for your books too, they are pretty interesting" answered Ryu.

"I took that class and so did Kagome" spoke Sakura "A lot of people did because it's a new class that has never before been taught".

"Because they are made up creatures that my parents told me about" spoke Kitsune "They use dogs and rifles to hunt Foxes, on horseback. That is a bunch of shit, why would someone like Kagome want to hunt me down, what horse would let you ride it, and what point do they have to hunt foxes".

"Maybe it's figured as a mythology class" spoke Kagome "But I don't know if they have enough info to teach us with then they have to have evidence".

"All right I guess. But where are humans now then, if they were so great then why aren't they here" asked Kitsune.

"Maybe they're extinct, maybe we killed them all" spoke Ryu.

"Maybe" spoke Kagome.

Kitsune was the first to hop out of the van then he was followed by Sakura, then Kagome, and Ryu was the last one out. Kitsune looked in awe at the giant gold letters which read Furries University.

"tch" grunted Kitsune now looking at the group "My mother always doubted me, she always put me down but now look at me. I'm in college finally". Kitsune looked toward a large building to the west of the college grounds where they stood.

"Hey Ummm..." Kitsune exhaled "Why did you stop at the campus instead of over there at the dorms"?

"I don't know" spoke Ryu "I had thought the dorms were part of the college grounds". They all got back in the van, Kitsune looked really annoyed at Ryu.

Kitsune hopped out once more this time at the dorm building's parking lot. Kitsune's eye was then caught by a female Panda walking around in a black trench coat. Kitsune dashed over and embraced the panda.

"Oh my gosh" spoke the panda "Is that you Kitsune"?

"Yeah it's me Miken" answered Kitsune.

"I was a little worried there for a second I thought you were some freak" spoke Miken (panda female).

"Hey Miken" spoke Ryu walking up beside Kitsune who was not letting go of the embrace.

"What happened before the summer Miken" asked Kitsune finally letting go of Miken "You suddenly disappeared from school. You never got to see my collar"?

"Oh my goshies" exclaimed Miken playing with the chain at the end of Kitsune's collar "This is so adorable"!

"Look at that, the little fox boy's adorable" spoke Ryu. "oh my" gasped Miken looking at Ryu "You changed"!

"Yeah I worked out over the summer a lot" spoke Ryu "Me and Kitsune sparred a lot".

"Yeah" spoke Kitsune "I can't believe your in FU, I thought you would go to a better college than this".

"It was the closest one to my home, and my dad wants to see me every once in a while" spoke Miken "I bought a single person dorm room, but I got a lot of stuff. I was hoping I could get some one to help me".

"I'll help and Ryu will help" exclaimed Kitsune "I'd be more than happy too"!

"But you have your own stuff" spoke Ryu "I'm not helpin' you with your stuff, my stuff, her stuff, and their stuff".

Ryu then pointed at Sakura and Kagome. "Who is she Kitsune" asked Sakura and Kagome in unison?

"This is Miken Mayakashi. She is a long time friend of mine and Ryu" answered Kitsune "She is a very good artist, that she is".

"What dorm number do you guys have" asked Miken?

"Oh, we have..." Kitsune spoke looking at a sheet of paper he had in his back pocket "Dorm number B7- 68".

"Hey your on the same floor as me" spoke Miken "I have dorm number B7- 70".

"So wait, We are in the B building, seventh floor" asked Ryu?

"Yeah" spoke Kitsune "That'll take a couple hours won't it"?

"Well me and Sakura will just go check out the campus while you two do that" spoke Kagome.

"Oh, thanks guys really appreciate the general giving of help here" spoke Kitsune in a sarcastic voice.

"Yesh your sooo uber nice guys" spoke Miken.

"Hey come on we can do this without them" spoke Ryu "They can do whatever. They don't have any luggage anyway".

"Easy for you to say" spoke Kitsune.

* * * (two hours passed as they brought the boxes to there rooms and unpacked them)

"Wow" spoke Kitsune "I still can't believe you live right across the hall from us".

"Yeah well" spoke Miken "you should stop by every once and a while".

"Yeah I think we'll do that" spoke Ryu.

"well for now we could hang out or something" spoke Kitsune "My arms are really sore, I don't think I could even hold a pencil".

"You're just too scrawny" spoke Ryu.

"My arms hurt too" spoke Miken rubbing her arms.

It seemed as if a heavy veil was lifted from Kitsune's shoulder. Meeting so many freinds that he loved so much, was like a natural high to him.
