The Dark Secret of the Great War. (Chapter 1 'At the start' Pg1)
So Allot of people ask about where my sadistic side raises from... Well lets begin...
It began a hundred years ago just before the battlefields of the war, I was captain in His Majesties Calvary, My job was to hold a sabar while riding on the back of a horse slicing enemies of the crown out my way and decimate foot soldiers marowl. The year was 1913 december 19th, I was stationed with Field Marshal Douglas Haig as we were looking through the seemingly charming city of Paris. I'll be honest. Paris just wasn't my cup of tea, I'm a hard going working army dog with a bite much, much, much worse than my bark -if you were annoyingly arrogant anyway- No I prefered a place more quiet and masculine at the same time but I'm straying, Now Me and the Field Marshal were in Paris to discuss the proper tactics of with a French Marshal named Ferdiand Foch should political tensions course war in europe. I'll be honest I was only Marshal Haig's personal bodyguard, but for some ridiculous reason 'Monsieur' Foch decided he didn't like me very much and 'requested' I leave altogether, more accurately found out that I was half German and held a stereotypical view of 'Pedigree' breed dogs, I tried to reason but my Marshal ordered my withdraw as it were. So I politely left the short bastards to their work. I decided to visit a nearby museum, Sadly I didn't catch the name of the blasted thing as I don't speak or read french. but there was Ancient Egyptian exhibition and I have had for a fascination for Ancient Egypt for a very long time now. so I stepped in and took a look around.
Upon my small stroll around this seemingly massive museum I found a few slightly irritating things hanging on the walls to with French propaganda against my country's good king I frowned at them almost annoyed but I than I shrugged and kept walking until I saw something that shimmered in my eyes, I stopped dead in my tracks looking at what is was, my maw almost dropped. I was a egyptian necklace studded with emeralds, sapphires, rubies and diamonds line with blue gold taking the appearance of a Jackal head and paws, as I said before I can not read a damn word of french But I could read Hieroglyphics very well, I studied in the libraries of Oxford a little while back. so as I read the stone block in the back riddled with hieroglyphs I quickly learned that this was the Necklace of Anubis, the Egyptian god of Mummification and keeper of the grave, it was said that he once had a son Named Paradox the demigod of time, but no texts have ever been found of his existence. anyway it said. 'yee who dares to disturb the resting of this jewel shall know eternal horror and suffering'. I heard of this necklace before. I've read that he had the power to control those of recent death. but nobody knows for sure. I read that the whole group who found the necklace died 5 days after it was revealed to the public. This was also one of 5 relics, The necklaces, The Staff, The Crown, The Ankh and The Bracelet. all of these artifacts were rumored to give the power of a god to whoever holds them, Of course such things just couldn't possibly exist, however the necklace was a very beautiful sight.
Later on that night I found myself laying in bed thinking of that necklace imagining the sheer destruction and traumatic events one could course with such power at their command, I'm thankful that such Power does not Exist... Or does it?
