My first story! Jeez I'm nervous, I hope people like it. I really like these two characters, If anyone out there does end up reading this, I will be sure to post more, apologies for the lack of detail on the characters, If I write more, i solemnly swear to provide details.

If you have any ideas for improvements, please tell, I have to improve somehow!

"Let's see, upstairs, downstairs, downstairs, attic, upstairs....why are there so many BOXES!"

3 long hours after the hulking rhinoceros of a moving man had vacated, disappointed to realise the rather attractive goat he was hitting on, was in fact, taken, Elaine was still sorting boxes.

"She left half an hour ago, how long does a pizza take?"

The familiar clip-clop of a certain pair of hooves belonging to a certain irresistible goat answered that question. Of course, Elaine had known of both the presence of her AND the pizza before she'd even snuck through the back door, yet she maintained the facade, determined not to spoil the goat's fun.

A familiar pair of arms wrapped around Elaine's waist as the goat pressed her chin against Elaine's shoulder.

"Why June! What a surprise! When did you get in?"

Elaine turned her head in time to see June roll her eyes, the fake tone of surprise obviously see-through.

"Elaine, you are by far the worst liars I have ever seen."

Elaine leaned over slightly and gently kissed June's cheek.

"Would puppy kisses make up for it?" She asked, in a voice sweet as syrup.

June's expression changed immediately "Why that would largely depend upon where this particular puppy decided to place them"

She leaned over and nibbled at Elaine's ear slightly, before being gently pushed away.

"You goats really do eat anything, but I believe we have a pizza for such purposes, a pizza growing cold rather rapidly."

"Leave it to the mutt to favour pizza over her girlfriend" June remarked sarcastically, releasing her arms from around the waist of her beloved, who had somehow found her way to the pizza before June could leave the living room.

Twenty minutes later, the well and truly full Elaine sat back in her chair, stretching her arms above her head as June nibbled on her second piece of pizza.

Elaine looked around the kitchen as if in a dream, noted June.

"We're really here, Elaine. Our new home. It's not finished yet, but it couldn't be more perfect, and do you know the most perfect part about it?" June asked, quietly slipping out of her seat to stand behind Elaine's chair.

"What might that be, my June Bug?"

June leaned over so her face was upside down, but in line with Elaine's

"You're here" she whispered, and before Elaine could respond, June leaned in and kissed her passionately. After what seemed like eons, June broke from the kiss to lean back up and tousle Elaine's ears in a way she knew irritated the canine to no end.

"Now don't you think it's about time we went to bed in our brand new house?"

Elaine could not say she wasn't looking forward to sleeping, because despite the floor being the chosen mattress until the bed was delivered and sleeping bags the selected blankets, she WAS looking forward to spending the night snuggled up to the goat she had been madly in love with for the past 5 years.
