We crossed through most of the store until we came back to our rope in point where we say that not only was our rope gone but also the possible culprit was standing there like a deer in the headlights. "Brother!" The little girl cried from my arms, trying to grab at him through the air. "Alicia? What are you doing with them?" The young Tod looked confused but moved a few steps closer. "Why'd you cut those ropes?" Alexis asked, the boy replied with some fear in his voice "To sell it, we needed the money for medicine!" He then lifted his sleeve and showed us what turned out to be a bullet wound. "It started to itch a few days ago and I've been looking for some antibiotics but haven't had any luck." He started to cough a little and I moved toward him. "Don't worry, we'll take you back to our camp and everything will turn out good. But first we need those ropes." He pulled them out of his pack and we climbed out of the building.

No sooner than we had reached the ground, a group of raiders approached us. "Well Well, where's the big bad wolf and her fox going this time?" great, Nathan, the hot head who hates our kind. "Were just moving through, we were just leaving now." Alexis said, barely containing her rage to him. "I'm afraid you can't, you're on our turf so you have to pay respect." Suddenly we were grabbed from behind and all of us were forced to the ground.

"Lick my boot, Mutt!" Nathan said putting his boot next to my muzzle. I looked over to Alexis and she had a plan. I knew what was about to happen, so I tensed my wrists and as soon as she got up with a reverse kick to the guys pelvis, I knew it was time to strike. I butted the one on top of me and finished him off with a roundhouse kick to the solar plexus and leveled his friend on the Tod by picking up a nearby plank of wood and slammed it into the raiders face. Alexis was unstoppable, using her claws for their original deadly purpose. I ran over to the one holding the younger kit and slammed the majority of my weight into my punch as I hit him in the windpipe. When this was all over, Alexis was already beating Nathan nearly to death. "Stop Alexis, let him live his cruel miserable life." She stopped mid punch "This is the man who's been after you and I since we got into this city!" She snarled her teeth and drew her gun to his head."I will shoot him but I want you to say it! Tell me to end this fuckers life!" She yelled at me, I could only go with the option that I was faced with from the start. "Do it" I said moving the kids away from her.She pulled the trigger and ended his life there and then "I really killed him...after all this time." She said wiping off her face. "Yeah, you did it." I said taking her hand and helping her up. I picked out the car Shane gave the keys to me for and took it to the group. "Get in, let's go." I said with the back doors open. They all climbed in and I drove off to our shelter.

The van sputtered and finally died about a block from the hotel, so we had to get out and walk the rest of the way. "So, what's your name?" I asked the little girl that I strapped to my back using the rope and her older brother walking in front of us with Alexis. The little kit was a bit slow to respond but she spoke up with "Alicia Windlock" I smiled and responded back to her "what a pretty name, Alicia." We walked along the road and right before we got around to the hotel we were stopped by a random passerby and they looked at us before throwing a brick at me "What the hell was that for?" He flipped me off and ran, throwing another brick that nearly hit me in the head by a few inches. I growled and I told Alexis to watch the kids while I find this guy, she nodding and me running off minus my back pack. I eventually found the man and he drew a handgun marked "hunter" in cursive on the barrel "You think you can just walk around as you please, filling our world with your filth! Now I'm going to clean you and your kind off this world." He cocked the hammer back and was about to fire when I gave him a knee to the ribs followed by a cross smash to the face. He knelt over and was bleeding from the nose, but yet he still had the gun poised at me. So I kicked his hand until he released the weapon from his grasp "Now, what was that about my kind?" He spat in my face and cursed my mother, something I would not stand for. I took a brick that was nearby and smacked him in the face "Fucking bigots." I spied a bag of medicine on the floor and ran back to meet up with the rest at the head quarters.

I finally reached our outlook cave (more of a burned out hotel room that partially collapsed, but it was basically a cave.) I opened the first aid kit and gave the boy some antibiotics and some painkillers to help him a bit. After this was all settled I picked up the camera and set to work. I had a feeling that this was the president's daughter but I needed one thing before I was completely sure of this. "Do you remember your parents?" She looked at me and said back "I can't remember my momma much but I can remember papa and how he was important before this bad thing happened that needed him to go away for awhile. He left me on an island near San Diego. We couldn't stay there too long because of the monsters around there, and it was hard when I got separated from my brother but I met someone good." She grabbed a picture of a man with dark brown hair and blue eyes standing next to the kit "What happened to him?" She looked away and responded sadly "He became one of the monsters, so I had to leave him." I frowned when I heard that the person who had helped the child was dead but then she spoke again "Along the way we found some kind of tapes and now are looking for two people...hey you kinda look like them! I told my dad's friends over the radio the man had with him about you!" I could hardly believe it, she was the president's daughter and the military was looking for us! "That's very good Alicia, that means that we are going to help you get back together with your dad." She started to jump and giggle "Thank you mister, Thank you!" She said before hugging me. I turned off the camera and went with Alexis and Alicia to see the sunset. It was a beautiful thing in a world of pain and misery for everyone, leading to a harder time for all at night. Alexis went to put the kids to bed and I said good night to them before getting out the little grey box holding the camera. I noticed as I set up the camera, that I was in a bit more in a rush than ever. "October 22, 2016, about 1300. Yesterday we recovered some children from a supermarket along with firearms and food supplies. I soon found out they were President Windlocks, which means we have better chance someone will find us. I also have come to know that we have been on the *Attempt to find at all cost* list for almost 3 months now, and that these tapes were found. Anyway, remember, if anyone finds these tapes you are heading to the large X on the road by the Estate hotel. This is Agent Benjamin Stamm of S.W.A.T and we are the ones left alive." I put the batteries out and went to bed with Alexis, while the spare bag we found that day was given to the kits. I couldn't help but wonder as I fell asleep what happened to that man and who he was, but I suppose that information died with him.
