Part 15 Dragoune\'s rescue
#15 of The Land of Marnex
Wow two in one week. This one is not as good as the last one because it is a countinuation of the last part. So yeah I should of put them together. Again anyone 18 or over enjoy any younger go away.
Part 15 Dragoune's rescue
Saneira saw Dragoune go down in her arms an arrow stuck in the back of him. She saw who had done it and threw her sword at him. It through is Adam's apple and through the other side. That is when she notice that Dragoune was fading.
"NNNNOOOOOOO!!!!!" Saneira cried out holding Dragoune in her arms. He looked at her for a moment smiled and went limp.
"Don't leave me Dragoune I cannot live without you." She said and then Volaxone came.
"What happened?" he asked when he saw Dragoune in Saneira's arms.
"H-he t-took an a-arrow for m-me? Saneira said in tears rocking back and forth. Without another word Volaxone took Dragoune away from Saneira which was quite hard to do, she even did a threatening growl at him. But finally he flipped Dragoune on his belly and took out the arrow. He quickly took his thumb wiped it hard and licked his thumb.
"Just as I thought." he said and then quickly took the wound and started to suck on it, occasionally spitting out whatever he sucked out.
"There that should be the last of it. That was a poisoned arrow, all of Baxon's archers put poison at least half of their arrows. He is very lucky that it did not hit anything too important because he would have never survived. " Volaxone said Saneira was speechless but nodded and both of them took Durlix to his and Saneira's room.
Saneira stayed with Dragoune for past few days awaiting when he actually woke up. Rovino Magnerous and Braxcon occasionally went to see how he was doing. Rovino asked about the battle when all of them were there. Saneira told every detail from the start, when Dragoune went crazy and the ending with the arrow. When she told about Dragoune's rage they were a bit shocked but she also noticed that they confirmed something in their minds. The next day only Volaxone Rovino and Saneira were in the room.
"But why does he not awake if there was not much damage at all?" Saneira said while rubbing Dragoune's wing.
"Even though I sucked most of the poison out does not mean that he will get up sooner. What they use is strong stuff if it does not kill you the pain will be great so that your body completely shuts down so has to get away from the pain." Volaxone said.
Dragoune kept hearing voices talking about him. He kept his eyes shut because the pain from the wound was still hurting badly. But just then he heard a very familiar warm voice that he recognized instantly...his mate Saneira. He opened one of his eyes and sure enough she was on top of him staring lovingly.
"Oh Dragoune I was so worried that I will never see you again. I would not survive without your arms around me. Please promise me that you not do that again!!!" Saneira said in tears.
"Okay I promise not to do that again, but I am not sure if I can keep that promise if it means that I have to break the promise of keeping you safe and I will never break that one." Dragoune said holding Saneira very close to him.
"Welcome back from the dead." Volaxone said with a smile
"How long was I out?" asked Dragoune
"A few days, Saneira here stayed by your side that whole time not moving an inch." Volaxone said, Dragoune looked at Saneira again and nuzzled her.
"There is one problem however." Rovino said, Dragoune did not notice him until now he was at the farthest corner of the room balancing a dagger on his claw. He threw it up caught it and pointed at Dragoune.
"Why didn't you tell us about your rage? It hardly seems like a lucky chance to have the same exact anger you had back then when you went into a rampage and your eyes proved it!!!!" Rovino said his anger arising. Before answering Dragoune looked at his eyes to check to see if they were back to normal, they were, so he said.
"You are correct, it is a rage. I first noticed it when I was very young, my eyes did not turn red but I would always get mad very easily. My father....and mother did not know of this because I always kept it hidden from them and soon I thought I was controlling it but only making it worse. When my mother was killed that's when I broke and it was unleashed. The king was an idiot he thought that I was plain angry and allowed me to go through the cities. It even got so bad at times that I killed the guards who were with me. The reason why Volaxone never saw the true me is because my rage was nearly spent by then."
"So that means we were being helped by a-" Rovino was cut off by Dragoune saying.
"A monster? Yes you are but let tell you that you still can trust me because Saneira was not with me back then, but she is now and she stopped me from it getting any worse."
"I will have to tell your secrete you know Dragoune. you know I can not keep this information from anyone. You may still have my trust but you may lose everyone else's." Rovino said
"Do as you wish I had enough of running away from my problems." Dragoune said with that Rovino left.
"I too will be at your side." Volaxone said
"Well I am glad to hear that and I am sorry for not telling you earlier." Dragoune said
"That's okay, my only regret was not seeing those guards faces when they saw you coming at them." Volaxone said with a laugh and he left too.
"Finally we are alone at last." Saneira said kissing him on the lips after she said that. Dragoune pushed into the kiss putting his tongue into her mouth and wrapping around her tongue. They were getting aroused but Dragoune knew that he can not go any farther because of his injury. Saneira knew this too so with silent content they broke the kiss and started nuzzling each other. Saneira rubbed his wings they way he liked it while Dragoune petted her back. Their tails entwined and both stared each other lovingly, this lasted for quite sometime until Saneira yawned.
"Let us rest for a while." Dragoune said
"Okay, have a nice nap my black knight." Saneira said
"You too, my beautiful dragoness." Dragoune said, they rubbed muzzles for a short while and Saneira laid her head on Dragoune's chest and both fell right to sleep.
The next couple of days Dragoune felt like he was back at the time when he first joined the Vordran. Most if not all of the furries and scallies who respected him now again showed their resentment if not that then fear.
"It looks like I have show them again that I am to be trusted." Dragoune said to Saneira.
"Yes but you still have the leaders trust." Saneira said and that was true Rovino Braxcon and Magnerous all still trusted him. They were out the north gate and Dragoune had an idea. He quickly took Saneira around the waist and then took off. Before she could say anything Dragoune did a loop-de-loop, and barrel roll.
"That was really fun Dragoune, but be careful because you still need to heal." Saneira said and just as she said that Dragoune started a loop-de-loop with a barrel roll in the middle and then finishing the loop.
"I know but it has been a very long time since we were both in the air together." he said looking down at his mate lovingly and she gave him a lick on the tip of his nose. He landed on top of a big open hill where they can watch the sunset. Dragoune was sitting up against a tree while Saneira was sitting against him. They nuzzled for a bit and then Dragoune kissed Saneira passionately.
"I love you so much Saneira and thank you for being at my side." Dragoune said
"I love you so much too Dragoune and you know that I will always be at your side." Saneira said they kissed again and watched the rest of the sun setting into the horizon.

So what will Dragoune do since all the kings followers are dead? well you will just have to see in the next chapter
