It seem's that three friends are in need of some Pokemon costumes.

Brixton was walking around town with some friends when they all saw an ad for a costume party being held at the local Pokémon center, "Dress as your favorite Pokémon." His friend Charg read off, "Sounds like fun, but the party is tonight where will we find Pokémon costumes?" They all thought for a moment then his other friend Ray snapped his fingers, "I know the perfect place... though it is a bit on the shady side..." They both look at him, "Where is it?"

He grimaced, "It's on Poroto Street." They all shudder at the mention of the name; they all knew the stories of Poroto Street. Some say that people and their Pokémon have gone missing, they were all adults but the street still spooked them. "I'm not sure if that's such a good idea Ray..." Charg looked a bit squeamish about the idea, "I heard the Pokémon costumes there are very realistic." Brixton thought it over a moment, "How much do they charge for the costumes?" Ray thought for a moment, "From what I've heard the prices are pretty hefty."

Brixton was standing in thought for a moment, "You aren't seriously thinking about going to Poroto Street Brixton..." Charg was shaking from the very idea of the street. "It couldn't hurt to check out the store." Brixton offered, Charg shook his head violently, "We could disappear on the way!" He nearly yelled at Brixton. Ray put his hand on Charg's shoulder, "You don't have to go Charg, but as for me I think I want an awesome costume for this party." Charg shuddered then he seemed to get a grip on himself, "I... I'll go if you guys are going."

The three nodded at each other, they all headed towards Poroto Street. They could tell that they were getting near the street due to the characters hanging around. There were shady dark type Pokémon trainers hanging around, there were also ghost type Pokémon floating around. Charg shuddered violently as a Haunter passed through him. "This is really scary guys..." Ever their coward friend he tried to run but Brixton grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. "Calm down, we're almost there."

They soon found themselves in front of the store; the store had a unique greeter at the door on the dingy street. A Chimecho was floating around ringing its bell happily. "Well that's a way to grab people's attention." Brixton commented, "Might as well head in." As they headed towards the door a rush of fancily dressed people walked out of the store carrying a plethora of Slowpoke/Slowbro costumes out with them. They all seemed to be rather pleased with themselves, "I'm sure this will get rid of our poor people problem..." The apparent leader shouted out to the rest of the fancily dressed people.

They all laughed cruelly as they passed, "I'm surprised those snobs would lower themselves enough to come into this place." Ray remarked when the snobs were out of earshot, the other two nodded and they walked into the store. All three audibly gasp as they see all of the amazing Pokémon costumes. They heard some chuckling from behind a shelf, "I get that reaction a lot." A man walked out carrying a Slowbro costume, "Welcome to my story, The Costume Poké, my name is Dorom." He extended his hand to each of them and they each shook his hand. "My name is Brixton, this is my friend Ray, and this is Charg."

"What brings you to my fine establishment?" Both Ray and Charg looked at Brixton, he sighed and started to explain, "We found out a Pokémon costume party is happening tonight and we heard that your store has some of the best Pokémon costumes around." The man started to laugh in a deep baritone, "I'm not sure if they are the best around, but they are pretty impressive I'll admit." He looked around, "Well let me just put this little guy on a stand and then I can get you all squared away."

Brixton started to think about the rich people, "What were those rich kids all here for?" The man put the Slowbro on the stand and he looked to Brixton, "They wanted the suits for a little prank they wanted to pull." He seemed distasteful about the situation, "That seems a bit weird, requiring so many costumes for a prank." The man smiled, "Yes, it does seem a bit overkill, doesn't it." He brushed off his hands, "Alright so do you know what you're all looking for?" The three shook their heads, "Alright, well why don't you browse and we'll see if you can find what you're looking for."

The three all separated and started to look around, Charg almost immediately found what he wanted, "Oh wow a Jolteon Costume, I've always loved Jolteon. The quills look so real..." He touched one of the quills and received a brief shock, "Ouch!" He sucked on his finger and looked in amazement at the costume and he called over Dorom. "I think I'll take this one." Dorom nodded, "Alright, take it off of the rack and bring it up to the counter, when your friends are done we'll ring it up."

Ray looked around while he bit his lip looking at all of the super realistic Pokémon costumes. He soon found what he was looking for, a huge Charizard costume. "Oh wow... this looks fantastic." He brushed his hand over the scales and he could swear he felt a pulse for a second, "Dorom I'll take this one." Dorom walked over and looked up at the Charizard costume, "Yes, I think this one will fit you nicely." Dorom gave Ray the same instructions he gave to Charg.

Brixton was looking through all of the costumes, his eyes hovered over the Lucario costume for a minute but he felt that someone would already be dressed as one. He thought about the Smeargle costume for a moment, but he felt that would be too odd. Then he saw a beetle like shape, "Oh wow, a Heracross, that'll be perfect!" Dorom walked over, "Did you find what you are looking for?" Brixton nodded and reached out and touched the costume, it had the feeling of a bug's carapace. He pulled it off of the stand and walked with Dorom to the counter.

Dorom looked over the three costumes, "So this is what you all want?" Each of them nodded, "Alright you can go, have a fun time with your costumes." All three of them gape at him, "What about the cost?" He looked at them and a strange glint appeared in his eyes, "You needn't worry about the cost, I don't take normal means of payment. The cost will be paid soon enough." The three nod slowly and walked out of the store. "Well... we just got amazing Pokémon costumes for free..." Brixton stared at the Heracross costume, "Shall we get ready for the party?" He asked his friends, they both smiled and nodded.

The three promised to meet up at Brixton's house in an hour to get dressed up for the party. Brixton quickly ate his food and watched some shows on his Television for a while. After an hour he heard a knock and opened the door to find Charg standing their holding his Jolteon outfit. "You ready for the party?" Brixton asked Charg nodded enthusiastically. The two talked for a while until they heard a knock at the door again. Instead of waiting Ray opened the door and waved to his friends, "Shall we get changed?" They all got changed into their outfits and started out the door, "Wow if I didn't know better I would swear you two were actually Pokémon." Ray commented on the outfits.

The other two nodded, "Though I don't think that Jolteon walks on its hind legs." Brixton poked fun at his friend, they all laughed. "You want me to try walking on all fours?" Charg asked jokingly. "Sure." Both of his friends jokingly reply back. Charg dropped onto all fours and tried walking in the position, "Actually this isn't too bad." The other two laughed and Charg continued to walk on all fours, if they had been paying attention they would notice that the flame on Ray's tail had started actually burning.

As they walked further Brixton started to get confused, "Charg how are you walking so far like that, isn't it uncomfortable?" Charg didn't reply for a minute then he seemed to realize that Brixton had been talking to him, "Oh sorry, for some reason I couldn't seem to remember my name." They all laughed at his lapse. They found people looking at them, "Wow they must think we're real Pokémon." Brixton joked around but the other two didn't laugh at this joke.

None of the three talked for a while, Ray's footsteps soon became louder and louder. His grunts changed from his normal tenor to a deeper bass sounding voice. Ray's wings had grown out and had started to flap along with his body movements. His size had quickly doubled, his tail lashed out behind him with its fire blazing brightly. The costume's face was no longer still, its mouth now moved and its eyes blinked. It was obvious that Ray was now a real life Charizard.

The same was happening to Charg, the quills that just a few moments ago been rigid now swayed in the breeze and crackled with the sound of electricity sparking between the quills. His tail now swished behind him and like Ray his costumes mouth now opened and closed and his eyes blinked. His ears perked to each of the sounds that echoed around them. His body had grown to the proportions to that of a real Jolteon. Much like Ray he had become a real Jolteon.

Brixton could feel the changes going through his body but for some reason no panic rose in his mind. The suit seemed to be melding with him, he could feel the wings of the suit now opening and fluttering behind him. He felt himself shrinking and he felt his eyes widening to the normal proportions of a regular Heracross. He felt his skin now hardening to be the exoskeleton of a bug. He felt his fingers disappear and soon he only had two opposable digits. His mind soon started to change into that of a Heracross's. His mind focused less and less on human worries and soon started to be based upon animalistic instincts. Soon he like the others was a real Pokémon instead of a human.

The three Pokémon stopped their advancement towards the Pokémon center and they all turned towards Poroto Street and headed off towards the street. The Pokémon weren't bothered by any of the trainers or other Pokémon. They walked into the costume shop, "Ah there are my three new workers." Dorom walked out and smiled, "Now what shall I call you all?..." He thought for a moment, "Charg you shall now be known as Charge the Jolteon." Charge nodded with glee, "Ray I think your name fits as is." Ray roared with satisfaction, "Brixton you will be Brix the Heracross." Brix nodded.

"Charge you shall endorse my store out in town." Dorom put a sign around Charge's neck. Charge barked excitedly and ran out of the story off in the direction of town. "Ray you shall be the security for the store." Ray roared, "Brix you will be by my side at all times as my guard." Brix jumped in excitement, "Now I think it's time that I go pay some Grimers a visit, come Brix." Dorom walked out of his store with his new guard happily following behind.
