#3 of Moutain Trip

After many amazing dreams that I remembered so vividly they seemed real, and I wished they were, I slowly opened my eyes. It was still dark outside, only about four thirty by my clock. I rolled onto my back slowly and silently, looking up at the ceiling and thinking about what had happened the night before.

Koda's paw on my cheek, his lips touching the other. It gave me butterflies in my stomach. I let out a small sigh, then thought. Wait, I didn't return any of the affection, what if he thought I didn't like it? I have to show him that I like him now. Last night I had frozen up, but now I was going to show him that the feelings were not one sided. I slowly got out of bed and walked into the living room. I looked on the couch and he was not there. I looked around, he wasn't in the room anywhere. I checked the bathroom but the door was open and it was empty. My heart sank.

Then I heard a soft tune coming from outside, I looked out on the balcony, the door was partly open and Koda was standing outside looking up at the stars that were still mostly visible, but they were getting dimmer, dawn wasn't far off. I slowly moved forward, making sure I didn't make a sound. He was leaning on the balcony's rail with his arms. I silently pulled the door open. Shivering from the cold, and the snow on my bare feet, I stepped up behind him and quickly wrapped my arms around his midsection, hugging tightly.

"What tha-" He started.

"It's me," I said.

"Oh, John, hey," He said and looked back at me. I smiled and laid my head on his shoulder, he returned the smile and looked back up at the stars.

"What are you doing up so early?" I asked.

"I didn't sleep, I couldn't. I kept thinking about, uh, that kiss," He said, a red tint to his cheeks.

"Oh, well I got some sleep, but the whole time I was dreaming about you," I said feeling my cheeks redden.

"So, I'm guessing you liked it?" He asked looking at me.

"Y-yes I did," I said blushing more, looking up into his eyes, "very much."

"Well, I'm glad," He said and smiled again looking back up at the stars.

"It's kind of c-cold out here," I said. He was wearing his hoodie so I'm sure he was warm.

"Why did you come out without anything on other than some pants and a t-shirt?" He asked turning around, "And no shoes either? Are you trying to get sick?"

"N-no, just wanting you," I said, "I w-woke up and wanted to see you, I couldn't find you inside, and I got s-scared, and I found you out here, I-I didn't have time to think about putting anything on,"

"But you had the time to sneak up on me?" He asked and unzipped his hoodie. He turned me around and wrapped the hoddie around me the best he could and then wrapped his arms around me. I let out a small thrum and smiled up at him. "better?"

"V-very, other than my feet," I said and giggled some.

"Well, I'll warm them up in a moment, I want to take one last look," Koda said and turned us around.

We stood watching the stars for a little longer until the became much dimmer. I had lost all feeling in my feet, but I didn't care, all the feeling I needed was what I was feeling around my body, in my chest, and my gut. I was happy. Finally Koda helped me walk, numb footed, back into the bedroom and laid me down. He said we didn't need to be up for another couple of hours so I should get some sleep. He tucked me in after putting some socks on my feet that he had warmed up next to the heater. He smiled at me the turned to walk away.

"W-wait, could you s-stay here with me?" I asked, feeling my cheeks burning red.

"What do you mean?" He asked looking at me.

"It's really lonely in this bed," I said looking up at him.

"Well, if you want me to I can," He said, smiling.

He walked around to the other side of the bed, slipped under the covers and laid on his back. I scooted over to him, rolled over onto my stomach and laid my head on his chest. My arm laid on his stomach, my paw resting just below my muzzle on his chest. He put his arm around my back and his paw rested on my side. I thrummed softly, and slowly closed my eyes. Koda said something just as I feel asleep, I didn't catch what he said before I was fast asleep.

After a dreamless sleep my eyes opened slowly. And I heard the most amazing sound in the world. The steady thump of Koda's heart, my head still lying on his chest. I slowly turned my head to look up at him, not taking my ear off of his chest. He was already up, smiling at me. My cheeks burned some and I returned the smile.

"Welcome back," He said and petted my head softly.

"Thanks," I said thrumming softly.

"Sadly we need to get up now," He said.

"Really? I wish we could lay here all day," I said looking up into his unbelievably beautiful eyes.

"I do too, you can lay here for a few more minutes, and I'll go fix us some food," He said smiling, "and there's always tonight for laying around."

"O-ok," I said and nuzzled into his chest, causing him to give off a small murr, before I rolled off and curl up next to him.

"I'll call you when it's ready, my draggy," He said a small tint of red in his cheeks. He leaned over and kissed my cheek before walking out of the room.

I sighed happily again, my dreams finally come true. I curled up and lay under the warm covers, my head where Koda had been laying, his sent still there. I laid there for a while until Koda called me to eat. I slowly rose out of bed and walked into the main room of the cabin.

Koda was sitting at the table already, a plate set out for both of us. I slowly walked over and sat in front of him, we began to eat silently. I knew I was in love with him and I had accepted that a long time ago, but it was just different know he liked me as well. I wasn't sure about what to say.

"Ready for the hike today?" He asked, taking a bite from his sandwich.

"Mmhm, as long as I get to walk with you I am," I said with a smile.

"I think today and tomorrow are small group hikes or something, I don't know, was too busy paying attention to you in class to listen to Savage," He said.

"Oh heh," I said my cheeks burning again.

"Why is the dragon blushing so much?" He asked tilting his head some.

"N-no reason," I said and looked out the window, "I still wish we could stay in here all day,"

"I know, but it will be fun out there, and we have all night in here to ourselves," He said and reached across the table and placed his paw on mine.

"Ok," I said smiling at him, he returned the smile, "I can't wait."

"I know, I know," He said and gave my paw a squeeze before getting up and putting the plates and everything away.

We got ready, putting on all of our cloths and boots and everything. He gave me a tight hug before we walked out the door. We both knew we couldn't show our feelings around everyone else, at least I knew it, our community wasn't the best for gays.

We did indeed get split up into groups, Koda, a fox named Nick, a horse named Kelly, and I was put into a group. I hardly knew the other two furs, Koda kind of knew them. I didn't and still don't like people I don't know.

"Ok, everyone you have your tails, meet back here at four for dinner, and then we are going to the astronomy lab for a couple of hours, then back to your rooms and whatever," Savage said.

"What about you Savage?" I asked.

"I'm going to stay here, wait on you all to get back," He said with a gentle smile, "Now off with you all."

Our hike took us down part of one mountain, up another and stopping at a small lake near the top of the second mountain. It was a two and a half hour hike, with thirty minutes worth of breaks. So, from ten in the morning, two hours up would be twelve, and two hours back would be two, and the thirty minutes would be three, meaning we would have about an hour at the lake. I did the math in my head as we started to walk.

Once again me and Koda stay behind the others as best we could, but it was much harder with less people. We talked some, nothing other than the normal stuff we talked about. A little about music, a little about games, and a little about the mountains we were at.

We finally made it to the small lake, it was frozen over as I had expected, but it was still a very nice view. The lake was formed with two small waterfalls, one leading out and one leading in, both of the areas around the waterfalls were unfrozen due to the moving water, so I guessed.

"Wow, it's amazing," I said.

"Yeah, the second most amazing thing I have saw today," Koda said giving my paw a quick squeeze before walking over to the edge of the lake. I followed him.

"Don't go out there," I said.

"Why not?" He asked grinning back at me.

"You don't know how thick the ice is," I said grabbing is wrist lightly.

"Fine, party pooper," He said and started walking around the lake.

"I don't need you getting hurt," I said, "Silly husky,"

"Yep, and you better not forget it,"

"I don't think I could,"

We walked around and talked for the full hour, the views were amazing, but I could hardly take my eyes off of him. Sadly that hour came to an end quickly, we had a quick lunch before heading back down the mountain.

The walk back was uneventful. Another two hours of walking with the guy of my dreams, but no longer of my dreams because he liked me. I still found it hard to believe, Koda really liked me. I was so happy, I couldn't keep my tail from swaying back and forth quickly, or keep a smile off my face.

We finally made it back, the others had already made it back. We were about ten minutes late, and Savage was not happy about it. He gave us a twenty minute talk about being late before we got to eat. By the time we got inside the food was cold, but it was still food so we all chowed down.

"Everyone, I have bad news. A bad storm is coming in, we have to cansle the trip to the lab, Koda, John, you might want to hurry up to your cabin, it's going to hit soon," Savage told us.

"Ok, John hurry up and finish," Koda said, I was in mid bite of a piece of meat. I nodded and finished up quickly.

When we started up the mountain the wind had started to blow hard, I used my wing to protect my face, Koda put up his hood. By the time we made it to the cabin it had started to snow badly. We made it in and closed the door. Both of us shivering and dripping from the snow we turned on the heater.

"H-hey, Koda, w-why don't you t-try and start t-the fireplace?" I asked, shivering.

"Ok, there's some fire wood over there, can mister big strong draggy get it for me?" He asked with a grin walking over to the largish fireplace.

I nodded and walked over to the large pile of wood, I grabbed an armful of wood and carried it to him. He piled it up in the fire place then looked back up at me. I tilted my head looking at him.

"No lighter," He said.

"Oh," I said and grinned a little. I hardly got to use my fire breath, so I enjoyed shooting the small ball of fire onto the wood.

"Mmm, that's better," Koda said smiling and looking into the fire.

"Yeah," I said and sat next to him; close enough for us to be touching some.

He looked at me and smiled, then put his arm around my back and rested his paw on my side. I let out a low soft thrum and laid my head on his shoulder as we watched the fire and listened to the wind howling outside. We sat there for an hour or two, at some point our paws had found each other, and we didn't have to say anything. Nothing could make that moment any better.

"Hey John," Koda said.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"Well, from what I can tell you like me, and well, I was wondering, would you like to be my mate?" He asked.

"R-really?" I asked looking at him; he turned and looked into my eyes.

Once again, he didn't use his words. He kissed my lips, softly. My face burned hot, and not from the fire in front of us. And I responded, I kissed him back, and my eyes slowly shut. My thrum became louder, only slightly, but it was noticeable against the wind and the crackling of the fire. He pulled back from the kiss, I opened my eyes to see him smiling looking down into my eyes.

"So is that a yes?" He asked.

"More than a yes, but yeah," I said smiling.

He leaned in and kissed my again. This time deeper, more passionate. I felt his tongue poking at my lips, I parted them and allowed it in. Our tongues danced for what seemed like hours, and by the look of it outside it had been hours. Darkness had swallowed our cabin. Once again he pulled back from the kiss, a small strand of saliva still connecting our lips. I blushed deeply and moved my head some so it broke.

"That was amazing," I said.

"Yes it was, let's go to bed," Koda said with a yawn, "didn't get any sleep last night and I'm tired."

"I'll go as long as you hold me," I said smiling, blushing some.

"Of course," He said and slowly stood up, holding onto my paw and pulling me up with him.

He led me to the bedroom and started to get out of his cloths. He stripped down to his boxers. I had seen him a couple times in his boxers, but never had I got such a good view of him. I had to remind my jaw to close. He grinned at me.

"Like the view?" He asked, "Looking at me as closely as you did those stars when you first saw them."

"Oh, sorry," I said my face burning again.

"It's fine, your turn," He said.

I nodded and slowly pulled off my shirt and my pants. Even though I hardly worked out, hardly exercised, I kept an athletic build. More than likely had something to do with me being a dragon. He smiled.

"Much better, now into bed mister dragon," Koda said slipping himself under the covers.

I followed behind him. I moved closer to him, resting my head on the center of his chest, right over his heart. His arms wrapped around me, I head a small murr coming from his chest, as well as the constant thump of his heart. He gently rubbed my back, making a thrum come from my chest. I remember laying there for at least an hour, listing to his heartbeat, feeling his gentle strokes on my back, smelling the scent of his fur.

After a while his paw slowly stopped, I guessed he had fallen asleep. I didn't move at all, another hour and I followed him into sleep. My dreams were full of him. Cuddling, hugging, kissing, and even near the end of my sleep, yiffing. All I truly wanted to do with him. I loved him, I love Koda.
