Brandon was the first to wake up, sitting up in the nest that now was his bed for the time being. He stretched and made sure not to make too much noise when he cracked his back; giving out a soft sigh of content. Looking over with his golden yellow eyes, he saw Max still sleeping; a slight snort was heard as he rolled from his back to his side, back to Brandon as he only chuckled softly at the sight. True to what Max told him the other day, they came home and ate a light supper, thought of what Brandon did still hung deeply on him, and he wasn't his usually always eating self. And after both went to a nearby waterfall and showering, Brandon again finding out that his flame did not go out because it was getting soaked. He was glad, because he knew that if the flame on a Charmander tail went out, he or she would die. Drying themselves off with what to be an over size leaf, they both went out to the small town. The Weedle and the other small bug yellow Pokémon tugged them along, showing them to their other friends and asking for them to tell them what happened and how they won. They left out the part where they killed three of them, but other that, told the story easily. Before going back to the house, noticed that Max was hugging his arm like when they saved the female Pokémon, and when they were talking to them. He couldn't put his finger on it why he was doing this, but he let it slide.

Looking back down at himself, he found that he was truly still a Pokémon, that was the only thing that didn't change, and from what he learned about the legends told by Max, that he would no doubt be going back as a human anytime soon. Looking down at his claws, he slowly closed and reopened them, closing his own eyes as he let out another sigh, this time not of content. Turning to the small table in the room, he found both his and Max's Spirit Holders on the table, side by side just like their owners when they slept. Taking a hold of his Spirit Holder, he clipped it on his arm, flexing what little muscles he had in this form to see if it fit right, and when it did, gave one last look to Max, before heading out. The small town named PokéTown was still in a deep slumber, some Pokémon were out and about, but most were just the Magnemite, looking like a large ball of steel with magnets on both sides of its body two screws under its one large eye and one screw on top of its head. Brandon nodded slightly at the Pokémon that flew past him, and the Pokémon too, bobbed its head to him, going back to its rounds. Stopping in the middle of the town, Brandon looked up into the sky, the moon was still clearly seen in the sky, but the sunrise coming from the east was making it harder and harder for the moon to be seen, the stars slowly disappearing in the sky as again, Brandon let out a sigh of air, before walking up to the Dojo.

He didn't know why he was coming up here in the first place; it felt wrong for him to tell Max what his dream was, the first time he dreamt of the voice, it told him to find two other pure light warriors. And then the dream he had last night...

"Again...?" he questioned himself, looking at the swirling colors of his dream as he looked around slowly.

"How goes your quest to find the other champions warrior of light?" The voice was back and Brandon looked around again, hoping to come face to face with the voice this time.

"Who are you?" he asked still looking around. "Why won't you show me your face?"

"I will show myself," the voice answered. "When the other two meet you here, in this dream like this."

"Well, that's what I don't get!" Brandon cried. "How am I to find these other two when I don't know who they are!?"

"You know one of them," the voice answered softly. "He was with you since you began your journey here."

"M...Max?" Brandon stammered realizing that his friend was the second Light Warrior as the voice spoke of.

"Yes," the voice answered. "Max is the second one, his heart is pure just like yours is, and just like the last warrior that you will find. But I understand that just waiting for this warrior will take too long, so I will tell you were he is." A flash of light came below Brandon's feet as he looked down to see what looked to be a mountain range, three larges tips were see, clouds covering the middle section as a waterfall flowed down the middle like a large slide. Ice hung on the very tips of each, the rock formations looking very smooth. "Go to the Tower of Three, there you will find the last of the three." And that's when Brandon awoken.

He yet wanted to tell Max this... no, he needed to figure out a plan to make them have to go to the Tower of Three, without telling Max that he had a hunch that there was someone up there waiting for them or something like that. No, but he already had a plan on how to get up there, but first he had to see if he would go on with his plan. Looking up at the Dojo's doors, he pushed it opened with his paws, to find Lucario sitting in the middle, crossed legged with her tail on her lap, eyes closed with her paws on her knees.

"Something is troubling you Brandon?" she asked without opening her eyes as Brandon closed the doors slowly.

"How did you know it was me?" he asked as she only smirked, her eyes still closed.

"I already told you," she answered. "Your aura is very different then from what I have felt before, since I have never felt it before and only from you. I knew it was you all along, even when you started to walk up here. Here sit, meditate with me and tell me your woes." Never meditating before, Brandon only nodded and sat down on the ground, coping what she did and wrapped his tail around himself, closing his eyes and took a deep breath and released.

"I have been having these dreams," he started in a claim voice; he couldn't even hear her breathing. "Telling me that myself, and now Max are of the pure of hearts, like the next one that we must bring back."

"Oh?" asked Lucario opening her eyes as Brandon did as well. "And what did this voice call you?"

"Light Warriors,"

'Hrm," she hummed to herself as she looked over to the wall that held the two legends on it. "You know, there is but one more legend, where a human came to this world, but not as a Pokémon."

"Really?" asked Brandon as Lucario stood up and went to the wall, sliding it to the side to revile another room, which she then walked in, and came out later holding a scroll in her paws. Sitting on her knee before Brandon, she pulled it open to show writing that Brandon had never seen before.

"Yes...this is it," she spoke to herself as if Brandon wasn't there with her. The legend spoke of when the Pokémon of this world lived with your kind; hundreds if not thousands of years ago, before as you humans do now, capture us for battle and glory."

"Not all of us do that you know," Brandon answered. "We sometime just wish to have them as friends, companions,"

"Yes...I know this," Lucario spoke until she slowly shook her head. "As I was saying, thousands of years ago we lived with the humans as well as the ones who are still there. But when a Pokémon by the name of Darkrai, thought that the humans were starting to capture the Pokémon to use for their own gain, such as labour work and so forth, wished for them and all his kind leaved, made a new world for themselves, a world where no human may dwell. But, the Pokémon who were with the human, and even some who weren't with the humans as companions did not think this was the right thing. They believed just like the humans that one could not live without the other, that we're the yin of their yang. Though, Darkrai did have followers, few, but still enough to make an army. He gave them power the other Legendary Pokémon had never seen before, thus the legend of the Shadow Pokémon came to be.

"The humans didn't want to see their companions leave, or killed if they joined them in fear of death, so taking up with swords and other such weapons, they fought to keep them safe. At first, the Pokémon who were not Shadow Pokémon did nothing but watch as one by one, their human friends died. At last, they too decided to join the fight; a war of Shadow and Light broke out. The Legendary Pokémon watched from the heavens as the lives of the Light were losing, so their leader, their god Arceus stepped in to help. He made the new world of which Darkrai wanted, and sent him there, along with a human and two Pokémon of which he befriended to do battle with him. In the end, the human gave his life to save his friends, who in their spat of rage defeated the dark Pokémon. When he was in his weak like sate, Arceus came before him, and banished him to a world of shadow of which he created, sending the Pokémon who sided with him to that world as well. The Pokémon, who also died in the battle, came to this world to be reborn."

"What about the human?" asked Brandon soaking this all in as Lucario closed her eyes for a moment, before going back to reading.

"The two Pokémon, weeping for their friend were soothed by Arceus, saying that the human would always be watching over them, and that he would never want them to see them crying or die, that is why he gladly gave his life to save them. The other Legendary Pokémon hailed this human as the savoir of the Light, giving him and the two Pokémon the title of Light Warrior. Three mountains were made to honour the three, though almost no one knows the true name of these rocks, but it says that they are called the Tower of Three."

"That's what the voice told me to go!" Brandon cried standing up at once. "He told me to go to the Tower of Three to find someone that was there!"

"Then it seems that whoever is there is also a Light Warrior, though does not know it yet. Is this why you came here?"

"Partly yes," Brandon answered. "I don't want to freak Max out by saying all of this, he may not be able to soak it all in at once like I am right now, and do you think that maybe you could send us up there, as training?"

The Lucario thought for a moment and nodded her head.

"I believe I can do that, now, you should go before Max wonders where you are."

"Thank you Lucario," Brandon answered with a slight bow, before turning back and making his way back to Max's home.

"So why are we going up this thing anyway again?" asked Max following with Brandon who was in front of him, climbing up the side of the mountain. Looking over his shoulder, he saw Max coming right behind him as Brandon looked forward once more, if he was still human, he would be sweating.

"Lucario said that if we go up here, we might find something to help us in both our body and our team." He answered slightly. "Who knows, maybe she's right about that, but ether way, all this climbing will help us get stronger!" Max seemed to think about that for a moment and only nodded as Brandon looked up again, the slop getting harder and harder to climb, but the edge was very close now.

What Brandon didn't know was that Max was looking at his backside the whole time, a slightly smile on his muzzle until Brandon rolled on the edge and reached down to pull him up as well; snapping him out of his daze like sate. "Hrm," Brandon hummed to himself as he looked around, a large cave opening was seen before them, but he felt something, something powerful pulling him in as well, there were many other caves, but this one cave, it was pulling him in.

"So...what now...Hey Brandon!?" Max looked back to the black Charmander to see him walking toward the cave very slowly, Max running up to grab his arm as Brandon looked toward him.

"Huh...what?" he asked shaking his head quickly.

"You okay?"

"Yeah," he answered looking back at the cave. "But...something is pulling me in here."

"I don't feel anything." Max answered back as Brandon shook his arm he was holding to walk to the mouth of the cave.

"I say we go in and see what's what?" Max looked toward him once more as Brandon looked back at him and nodded slightly, as Max too nodded.

Walking in they noticed old torches on the walls: Brandon's tail flame making a small light for them, but once they walked into a much larger chamber, all the troches lit up at once, so quick that it made the two Pokémon cover their eyes in blindness. Opening their eyes, came to look in awe of many writing and drawings the wall, craved into stone!

"Whoa..." Max exclaim looking around slightly in amazement. "What...is this place?" Brandon couldn't answer, his eyes locked on one picture, one lone picture in front of them as he walked up to it, a picture of a Pokémon that seemed to be made of shadow, fighting three beings, one Totodile, one Axew, and one human. But what made him watch the picture more and more in shock was that the human looked just like him when he was human! Max walked up behind Brandon, looking at the picture then to Brandon then back again to the picture, and once more to Brandon. "Brandon, you okay buddy?"

"Max..." he answered looking at him. "That human...I looked like that as a human..."

"What?" he whispered looking back at the picture. The human wearing a black shirt, ripped from battle as he held in his hands a long sword, much like a Katana. The handle and the blade it self black like his clothing. Black hair waving in what seemed to be wind as he looked to be about to drive the sword into the heart of the evil Pokémon before him, skin tan and eyes flashing green, a bread growing on his face as his jaws were opened in a frozen like scream.

Brandon's claws clutched and shook hard, the human Lucario spoke of, the human of legend, the very first human that came to this new world; looked just like him!

"The legend of the human and his Pokémon team," a voice the two knew well called out as they turned around to see on the other side, Shadow, grinning in his paw he held Bone Club, his Spirit Weapon. "But I'm sure you know the legend don't you Brandon?" Shadow asked moving forward. "My sister did tell you, did she not?"

"You're..." Max stammered. "You're Master Lucario's brother!?" Shadow chuckled softly, the burnt part of his face moving like melted flesh.

"Yes, she did not tell you? I gave my very soul to my master because I wish to prove I was better then her, and I did."

"Lucario is better then you!" Brandon cried moving forward. "She did not fall to the darkness like you did!" Shadow rolled his good eye and chuckled again.

"You know," he answered. "My master did tell me to bring you back alive," he swung his club a bit in the air and caught it. "He didn't say anything about...near death." He grinned as Brandon and Max took a step back. "But as I said, you know the legend don't you Brandon? How my master Darkrai wanted a world where humans would never again harm Pokémon, and well, that so called 'god' gave him just what he wanted!"

"Ha!" Brandon exclaim pointing a finger at him. "You forget that god also put him and the one like you in a shadow world, the Pokémon who died came here as well that were killed because of that bastard!" Shadow snorted and glared hard at Brandon taking a step forward.

"The master still got his wish, and soon, he will be able to take over this world as his own, and then, do as his dream was to do in the first place!" Shadow looked up and held his paws to the side, outstretched. "He will invade your world Brandon, and then, kill every last of your kind!" Brandon body tensed up at once as Shadow laughed, looking back down at them both as Max looked to Brandon and then to him.

"How did you find out I was human?" he demanded as Shadow smirked.

"My master know all, and he also found your family." Brandon again locked in place as Shadow smirked. "Maybe after I kill you're father...I'll make your mother my little sex slave."

"RAHHHH!"

Brandon screamed and ran full speed at Shadow, flicking his arm out as his sword came out in a flash, Shadow bringing his to side slash him as Brandon caught the blow with his sword. The force of the hit sending a rush of wind around them as even Max felt it. Brandon's eyes flashed with anger as Shadow laughed, kicking him back as Brandon skidded on his toes backwards a bit, but once he stopped skidding he ran back, yelling out in a fit of rage as he slashed and stabbed like a mad man trying to cut the Pokémon before him to pieces. When they collided again and held their pose, Brandon growled low and menacing.

"You will never touch them!" he screamed loudly at the Pokémon snaring down at him.

"Oh really?" he asked and chuckled. "Cause I was thinking of just raping your mother then sell her to all my friends as well, what do you call them...pimps I think?" Brandon's eye twitched as he let out another roar, his tail flame growing larger and larger as he opened his mouth and let out a might roar, black flames shooting out as Shadow jumped away, landing on another cliff inside the cave, Brandon eyes locked to him as Max started to move forward, he then snapped his head to his friend and let out a low growl.

"He's...mine...stay away!" Max jumped back at the forcedness of his voice, never seeing Brandon like this in the two days he knew him; Brandon snarling turning back to Shadow once more opening his jaws and letting out a huge black flamethrower at the Shadow Pokémon who leapt into the air and flipped toward Brandon, kicking him to the side of his muzzle causing him to roar out in pain as he was slammed into a wall. Brandon was bleeding out of his nose and the side of his mouth, not moving as his sword went back in his arm guard, Shadow smirked and moved closer and closer to Brandon, Max shaking his head and calling his hammer and went to save his friend like he had saved him, when Shadow brought his paw out, Max floating in mid air as he yelped and dropped his hammer in fright as Shadow moved closer and smirked, his face right close to Max's own.

"Why are you helping him?" he asked looking to Brandon. "Didn't you see the rage in his eyes when he was fighting me, did you not see what he had become?" Shadow only chuckled softly. "I do not like him, that's for sure, what he did to me will never be forgiven, but, the master wishes to have him, so be it. But you," he held another paw up as it glowed a dark crimson red, grinning from ear to ear. "You will not be missed!"

Brandon groaned, opening his eyes, he saw only red blurs at the moment, the taste of blood and dirt in his mouth was easily tasted, spitting a glob of blood out, he looked up, trying to remember where he was, that's when it hit him like the wall did. He was fighting Shadow, he was easily beaten because he could not control himself, and also saw him go for his friend Max! His vision clearing, as he then saw something that shocked him. Max laid on the ground, looking to stand up after falling, his hammer in his claws as Shadow stood at bay, at the Pokémon who held a long green lance at him. The Pokémon was of light green eyes a bit red and a mix or orange as he held the long lance in his paws, the handle easily covering his claws from attack, the edge of which were spiked along the tips. A single darker green horn was seen on its head, along as yellow like teeth seen on ether side of his muzzle. A small tail much like Max's was seen as he held a narrow eye look at Shadow, whose right paw was bleeding from the hit he was given from the Axew.

"Have you no honour?" The Axew asked with his eyes still narrowed. "Making someone so enraged that you would stoop so low as to bring his family into the fight?"

"As long as it works, I do not care," the Pokémon answered with a slight huff. "Who are you anyway to stop my mission?"

"My name is Alex," he spoke backing away closer to Max. "And if you are going to use tricks, then you will have to fight me to get these two." He looked back, seeing Brandon up as he struggled to stand and then to Max. "Your friend is up, go tend to him." Max looked behind him to in fact see Brandon, up at once and running to his side to help him up, Brandon groaned in slight pain.

"Brandon...a...are you alright?" he asked, he seemed close to tears as Brandon only nodded. "Y...you were crazy Brandon, I thought I lost you!" Brandon watched as Max slightly cried, grunting in slight pain he brought a paw to his head and patted him.

"Don't worry about me," he answered with a small smile. "What doesn't kill me only makes me stronger..." Max only held Brandon up more, the sound of a howl was heard as they both looked over to see the fight play out before them.

Alex, using his lance like a running pole, leaped over the black Pokémon who followed him every step of the way. Shooting blast after blast of Aura Spears at him, as Alex just twirled in the air, hitting his lance on the last one to be thrown at him, sending it back, slamming it to Shadow's chest. Snarling in pain as he clutched at his chest. Once Alex landed on the ground, pointed his lance at Shadow, and at the tip was shot off, a line of chain connected to it as Shadow jumped backwards, the tip nipping his ear, causing him to clutch his teeth in pain. Brandon and Max watched as Alex seemed to toy with Shadow, once his lance was one, once more, he ran and stabbed forward, but Shadow was smiling. Grabbing the lance with one paw, he brought his other paw out and attacked once more with an Aura Spear, this time hitting Alex right in the face. Alex gave a short cry in pain as he was flung to the wall from the blast, blood falling out of his mouth as Shadow went in for the kill.

"Stop!"

Brandon was now standing on his own, standing tall as he called back froth his sword, Max was beside him, who screamed out the call of stop, holding his hammer as Shadow turned to them fully, smirking.

"You really think you can win?" he asked as Max gripped tighten, Brandon seeing this and nodded to Shadow.

"Yes, because..." Brandon placed a claw on Max shoulder. "Alone we are weak, but together."

"We are powerful!" finished Max as they both ran at Shadow, with hammer and sword held high.

Max brought the hammer to Shadow chest; a few slight crakes were heard as he struggled backwards, giving Brandon enough time to slash the same stop, a spray of blood flinging out of the taller black Pokémon chest. Shadow roared and ran forward to attack, when Brandon collided his sword to the club, allow Max to smash the club into pieces as Shadow jumped back in shock looking down at his now broken club; Brandon and Max standing side by side, Max holding his hammer in front of him with both paws, while Brandon pointed the blade to Shadow.

"This isn't over whelping!" he cried, backing away into the shadows of the wall, leaving the cave and the three alone.

Both let out a breath of air, looking over to see that Alex was slowly opening his eyes as they both went over to him; Brandon bleeding slightly still from his own cuts, but not enough to keep him down.

"Are you alright?" Max asked, looking at the Pokémon who saved his life that day with worry on his face. Alex only groaned and nodded, trying to stand, but couldn't, with Brandon and Max help, he was able to stand as Alex welcomed their helpfulness.

"Yes," he answered. "I am fine, what about you?"

"Yeah I'm fine too, thanks to you," Max told him as Alex nodded, then looked to Brandon.

"I have never met a Shadow Pokémon up close without having one of them try to kill me."

"I'm not a Shadow Pokémon," Brandon stated rolling his eyes. "But that's beside the point; I would like to thank you as well, for saving my friend when I clearly lost my mind."

"Think nothing of it, I knew it was the right thing to do, and anyway...something told me to help you two."

"Something," Brandon asked. "Or someone?"

"How did you..." a low humming sound was heard as the three turned at once, calling forth their weapons, expected the worse, but all they saw was a large white orb floating before them. The orb started to take a form; legs growing from below it as a single yellow like nail were seen on each foot, a short tail seen growing behind the light and yellow twisted rings around the body, green stones around it. A helmet looking head was easily seen now ears pointed up and hoods like shape flowing behind the head, green and red eyes looking at the three before the being.

The three backed away slowly at the large Pokémon before them, none knowing who this really was, and didn't want to leave it to chance that it was friendly or not.

"Do not fear me, Warrior of Lights," the voice sounded male as he looked to each of the Pokémon before him. "No harm will come to you from me." Brandon had to think hard, he knew he heard this voice somewhere before, that's when it hit him like a ton of bricks.

"You're..." Brandon looked up moving forward. "You're that voice in my dreams!"

"You are correct young Brandon," the Pokémon answered. "I am Arceus, god and leader of the other legendarily Pokémon of this world and your world Brandon." Alex turned to Brandon, confusion on his face for a moment as Brandon moved forwarded again, Max wanting to follow, but stayed back in slight fear.

"What is going on Arceus?" asked Brandon looking up at him. "Why is this happening, why am I a Pokémon, why?"

"The one that controls the nightmare of those," he answered looking away."Wish to make this world his own, even take your world Brandon, and allow his followers to do as they wish to the humans there."

"What do you mean?" Max asked, finding courage to walk up beside Brandon, Alex on the other side of Brandon.

"Brandon knows just as well, that many humans mistreat the Pokémon of his home, when they die, their hatred for the humans allows their spirit to go to the world of Darkness, where Darkrai is waiting, promising them revenge for the humans who caused them pain."

"So are you saying," Alex asked with crossed arms. "That each Pokémon in this world, were reborn when they were killed from Brandon's world, and if this is the case, why can't we remember?" Acres shook his head slowly for a moment.

"That is what to happen when you are reborn," he answered walking away form a moment looking at the way with Brandon's ancestor. "When you are born here, that means that in the human world, you were killed, your sprit then finding its way here if you were good and kind and full of light. However, Darkrai have found a way to allow those he chooses to keep the thoughts of who they were, so that way, they could have a better chance to kill the humans."

"They won't have the chance to even see my home!" Brandon growled low in his throat. "You told me that we are the Light Warriors right, well I plan on using every ounce of my power to stop this Darkrai guy, and make sure that he will forever be trapped in his dark realm!"

"I'll help too!" Max answered with the same power of Brandon in his voice. "Brandon saved my life from Shadow, and well, I just can't see Brandon in woe if his and family were just wiped from existed!" Alex turned to the two then back up to Acres, who nodded his head slightly to the small Pokémon, who nodded back.

"I too shall help," he answered with a nod. "Something with this much dishonour can not go unnoticed; I shall lend my strength in the battle of Shadow and Light." The Pokémon god held his head high and looked each in the eye and gave what looked to be a smile.

"Your hearts speak true," He told them while closing his eyes and leaning down. "I give you the gifts of evolution, what would take years to grasp, you will be granted when the power within you is waken by a force so strong in you. You three are the only one that can stop the nightmare Pokémon, though I can not help in your battles to come, I shall do what I can to guide on the path of stopping Darkrai!" and with that, he reverted back to his orb form, three more smaller orbs, one black, one blue, and the last a light purple, was seen, flowing into each of the Pokémon. As Acres took into the air, and Alex, with his wounds and now noticed lost of blood, fell to the ground.
