This summer was jam packed with all sorts of events. As such, I haven't had time to write much.

I hope you enjoy this update -QimmiQ

It was a cool autumn morning. More gold, red, orange and brown leaves filled the trees. He strode to the door. He saw leaves float down lazily to the ground. It was mesmerising. He stared, enthralled by the leave's graceful dance. Something was missing though... In a flash of brilliance he realized what he needed. He turned on the coffee pot and poured himself to a bowl of cereal.

He walked out towards the porch. He felt a nice breeze play across his scalp. Somewhere in the distance he heard birdsong. Terry's mind painted a story scenario; it involved a cellist, a pianist and a violinist. They were playing an unknown piece; it was something flowing and melodic.

That story melted and warped from his mind as he felt a hand brush his shoulder. Martha swam into focus. "You alright?" Terry jerked into reality. "Uh, yeah. I was thinking." "What about?" "Well... I want to be a writer, I imagine stuff." Terry said more than a bit shyly. "That's cool." Martha beamed. Terry blushed.

"Uhh... Thanks." Terry quietly said. Terry was never the type that did well when he was the center of attention. Terry stayed quiet, trying to fall back into his familiar dreamland; he couldn't however.

He heard the light footfalls of Florance walking in. "Mornin'" she mumbled sleepily. "Good morrow." Terry said. "Are you always this formal?" Martha complained. "When I must." Terry replied. Terry started to work in the kitchen, preparing breakfast. After a while, the delicious smells of pancakes permeated the house; as if by magic, his father appeared; evidently from the smell of Terry's cooking.

"Good morning." Terry acknowledged. "Morning kids." His father replied. "Good morrow." They chirped. "W-why so formal?"Terry's dad stuttered. They all wore identical grins, of varying degrees of evil.

The breakfast went off flawlessly. Florance protectively guarded the coffee pot, Martha said she had fallen in love with the waffles and his dad wolfed down everything.

Everyone thanked Terry, which caused him to blush. "You guys don't need to thank me..." Terry trailed off. "One must always appreciate the joys of a great breakfast." Martha sagely said. This caused Terry to turn a deeper red. "Please stop..." Terry blushed.

Everyone laughed, even Terry. (However awkwardly) "I guess it's time." Martha piped up eventually. "Yeah... I guess so." Terry looked over to his father. "Dad, I promise that I will find mom." For the first time in Terry's life, he saw his father tear up. "Thank you." His father whispered.

"Hang on you two. I need to pack up some last minute things." Terry dashed off. Once Terry was in his room he picked up his backpack (red, grey and had a pokeball design on its back) and started to pack up some things; notebooks, writing utensils, officey-stuff (paperclips, etc), a first aid kit, a book, and his pokémon supplies. He was about to leave, but then he realized that it would be his last time in his room for a while; he bowed, picked up his pokedex and left.

"I'm ready to go now." Terry said, as he slipped on his backpack. "About time, Terr." Florance commented. "Great. Let's go!" Martha chimed in. "I'll be back soon dad." Terry said; turning to his father. "Make me proud." "I'll try my best. Remember that there is a difference between the fridge and the pantry. I'll send a letter soon."

Terry strode off to his friends, he turned and waved good bye; to his former life, to his father and to his home. "Let's go!" Terry called. They walked out of the boundaries of Nuvema Town. "It's beautiful out here." Martha commented. "It is, I loved it here." Terry said, Florance agreed.

"Here is the farthest I've been." Terry said, when they reached an oak tree. "Same here." Florance added. "Let's press on." "Sure thing." They walked on for a while. "Do you two want to listen to music?" "What kind of music?" "I have a radio." "Those are cool." "They are." Martha pulled out a small handheld radio and switched it on.

Gentle music wafted through the speakers. "Tidal is getting tired. Look:" Terry pointed to a sleepy looking Tidal. "It must be Pokémon Lullaby." Martha said. Terry bent to pick up Tidal. "Let's go on."

The trio continued on. "Anyone getting the feeling that they are being watched?" Martha asked suddenly. "No, why do you ask?" Florance asked. "I have been through a lot. I can tell when I am being watched." Martha replied. Terry scanned the area. "I don't see anything." "No. I didn't think you would." She released Earl Grey. "Earl, do you detect anything?" she asked. Earl Grey closed her eyes. Suddenly she pointed behind a tree. "Found you."

Martha returned Earl Grey and sent out a weird looking pokémon. It looked like a pink-ish spider. "Aria use String Shot!" Martha commanded, pointing towards the tree. White, sticky webbing shot straight towards the tree in question.

Terry saw a blur as the web enclosed its sticky embrace. "Who's there?!" Florance called out. Terry heard a slight murmur. Something deep within his skull warned him that there is danger behind him. He whirled around to see a whirlwind of leaves. "Look out!" Terry called. He stepped sideways, just as he saw leaves spiral around where he would have been. Everything seemed to slow down. He noted the leaves' serrated edges, Florance's startled expression, Martha's determined expression, and for a fraction of a second, the attacker's outline. Terry saw a dark robe and a green-ish pokémon. Then everything seemed to explode.

Terry stumbled back. "Who are you?" Terry asked. There was another blur and the figure melted into the trees. "Who was he?" Martha asked. "It might not be a boy, it could have been a girl just as easily." "True." Martha conceded. "I dunno. We must keep our guard up however."

The group walked on uneasily. Eventually they walked to civilization. "This must be Accumula Town." Florance commented. "Let's head on to the Pokémon Center." They entered the building.

Inside they saw the person they saw earlier. They saw that the person was a girl. She was in the process of stuffing her robe into her bag. "You!" they shouted out. "Sorry about earlier. I thought you were those punks that tried to attack me." "Pardon?" Terry asked. "I was attacked by three people with pokémon earlier. I defeated them though. They said something about 'The Elementals' and glory. I'm Stormy by the way." "Nice to meet you to. I'm Terry." "I'm Florance, pleased to meet you." "Martha here."

"Where you from?" Terry asked. "Some things are not that important. I'll tell you later." Stormy answered a bit shortly. "I'm sorry, was that rude? Sometimes I am rude when I don't mean to." "Uhh..." "I'm from the Sinnoh Region." Martha said. This surprised group. "I didn't know that." Florance said. "That's not really surprising. It seems that you three only just met." Stormy interjected.

"We met rather recently. She is the most experienced so far in our party." Terry said. "Thanks Terry. I am constantly still; as with everyone else." "We all learn things. The day we stop learning is when we die. Now that I know I can trust you let's head out." Stormy flicked her long purple ponytail behind her and walked out. They followed her out, and into an assembling crowd.

"My friends, I have an important announcement. We have been treating our pokémon carelessly. My name is Ghetsis, I am here to spread the noble word of Team Plasma. Today, we shall move forward to a new age: the age without pokémon! This is madness you might be thinking, but I urge you to think! We are people, who harm other beings. Pokémon battles hurt not only the pokémon themselves, but also the pride and feelings of their trainers. I urge you to please stop battling, to save the pain that everyone will suffer!" Ghetsis continued on. The group left; except for Florance. She lingered for the remainder of the speech, Terry saw an iron glint in her eye.

Florance eventually caught up with Terry and the others; Martha and Stormy. "Sorry I was late. I found-" Florance stopped to catch her breath. "I found Team Plasma's speech really compelling." "I don't think they are up to anything good." Stormy cut in; she looked icily at Florance. "There are valid facts though." "Lies wrapped in a core of truth." "I don't like your tone." Florance said. "I don't really care. However, I won't hold it against you for what you believe in. Just don't preach it to others."

Terry cut in "I can see both sides of the issue. Stormy has her own beliefs, as with Flo. Can we please just move on from this argument?" Terry pleaded. Silently the three girls moved on; leaving Terry.
