Officers Nina Sphynx and Ginger Affen find themselves in hot water, and while Nina is worried about her job, Ginger is worried about something else. It wasn't long before the floppy-eared dog woman learned the truth and found out just what kind of woman her partner is. Officer Nina Sphynx has taken something from her, something more than just a sexual encounter with her lover, Ian. The human was quick to tell her the truth, and though she was grateful to learn that he wasn't entirely complicit in the act, it still damaged her self-esteem; she's not the woman she thought she was. Meanwhile, Nina visits her sister, Nikki. Forced into a paid leave pending an investigation into her conduct, she has all the time in the world to reconnect with her fraternal twin, the most popular exotic dancer at the Ken-Do Gentleman's Club.

By Mantrid Brizon

“I can’t believe you. ‘It is what it is’?! What the hell kind of thing is that to say to someone standing on the edge of a cliff?!?!”

“It was a bridge, sir.”

“I know that!!! It’s a figure of speech!!!”

Chief Steele fumes as Nina and Ginger stand before him, awaiting their punishment. Unable to talk Kevy down, the officers are now in trouble for seemingly allowing the man jump to his death, especially Nina, who did all the talking. Ginger sat in the car, cleaning zombie blood out of her fur and hair. She didn’t do a very good job.

“And what do you have to say about this, hmm?!” The Chief looks to the bloodstained dog.

“Rrrr...” She continues to fume, her arms crossed beneath her plump bosoms.

“... HELLO!!! EARTH TO GINGER!!!”

“WHAT?!?!” She snaps at the Chief, startling him.

“... Okay... It’s fairly obvious to me that you two don’t have your heart in the game anymore. Maybe you’re overworked and not capable of handling the stresses of your job. Maybe you-”

“That’s not it, sir. I-” Nina interrupts.

“Stop talking!” He cuts Nina off.

“...”

“Ginger, I’m ordering you to take some vacation time.”

“But I was saving that!” She whimpers, her floppy ears drooping.

“Not anymore. You’re taking a week off. Maybe two... As for you, Nina... You all but told him to jump.”

“No, I didn’t, I just said that-”

“Shut up!” The Chief shuts her down again. “Pending investigation, you are hereby suspended...”

“What?!” Nina whines.

“With pay.” The Chief continues.

“... Yes.” Nina pulls a subtle fist-pump.

“Now, kindly get out of my office. I have a lot of paperwork, thanks to you.” The Chief grumbles, shooing them out.

Ginger and Nina turn to leave, nearly bumping into each other. Nina stops and raises a hand, motioning for Ginger to go ahead of her. The canine narrows her eyes, her lips peeling back as she snarls. Balling a fist, Ginger swings hard and abruptly punches Nina in the face, dropping her to the ground! Chief Steele is stunned, trying and failing to pull his bulky body out of his chair; his hands are flat atop his desk while his chair rolls about the hardwood floor.

“Have a nice suspension.” Ginger growls before storming out of the office.

“Ow...” Nina rubs her cheek.

“Are you alright?” Chief Steele slowly rises from his chair.

“Yeah. She doesn’t hit that hard.”

“Oh, good... Then get out.”

“...”

Nina makes her way into the hall and closes the door behind her, only to find several of their fellow team members staring at her. Gillian Holiday, a much more seasoned officer and one of the survivors of the “Manor Fiasco,” shakes her head as she looks with disgust and disappointment. Christian Greenfield, Gillian’s partner, offers her an ice pack from the office fridge. She refuses. The dark cat waits until her partner has left, then grabs her own coat from behind her desk and pokes her head into the hall.

The police station, a former library and art gallery, is labyrinthian in its construction, with as many as three routes to every converted office. However, there’s only one way toward the showers; Nina watches Ginger making her way down that corridor. With the coast clear, she slips into the hall and makes her way down to the ground floor, passing through the remnants of the library, not the records department, and entering the massive lobby. On her way out, she greets the regulars, who always seem to have a reason to call the cops or get themselves arrested.

“Hey, Jim. How’s the fam? Hello, Gertrude. Kids still skateboarding on your sidewalk at four in the afternoon? Yo, Dave, still cookin’ meth? Hey, there, Katalina? How’re the tricks treating you?”

Climbing into her car, a maroon and black Charger that’s even the same year as their squad car, Nina turns the key and listens to the engine roaring to life. She suddenly freezes as she sees the clock and realizes that it’s not even three o’ clock! What’s she going to do for the rest of the day? Moreover, what’s she going to do with the next few weeks?! Policing was Nina’s whole life; she has nothing to go back to, except her tiny and sparsely furnished apartment.

Maybe she could go to the range? That always makes her feel better! She nixes that idea when she remembers she’d have to pay for it and shoot with civilians. Maybe she could grab some early dinner and watch a movie instead? After thinking for a moment, she cannot think of a single movie she wants to watch. Maybe she could chase down a stolen car and-?! With a heavy sigh, Nina rests her head against the steering wheel.

“This might be harder than I thought... Maybe I’ll talk to Nikki? She’ll know what to do.”

Shifting into gear, Nina speeds out of the parking lot only to realize a quarter mile down the road that she isn’t in her squad car. She reaches for the switches to activate the lightbar and siren, only to turn on the air conditioning and heated seats.

“Oh... Right...”

Meanwhile, Ginger finishes her shower. Stepping out of the stall, she rubs down her furry body with a towel, getting her armpits and underneath her plump breasts. She pauses for a moment to look at herself in the mirror, eying her voluptuous form for a moment before turning to the side and judging the shape and size of her butt. Her mind races as the insecurity and anxiety takes hold.

“I’m pretty, aren’t I?! I-I mean, I look attractive, right?! I’ve got everything Nina has! ... Don’t I? So... W-why would he-?” She hesitates to answer herself.

The glum dog whimpers, her ears hanging against the sides of her head as she sniffles. Her confidence has been shaken to the core and her femininity has been challenged, and by a woman she trusted, a woman whose perky butt and full breasts are just as nice as hers. Maybe, to some, they’re even nicer! Did Ian think so?! Racing over to her bag, she pulls out her cellphone and promptly calls her lover.

“Hey, Ginger. Aren’t you at work? Are you okay?” Ian begins, worry in his voice.

“We need to talk.”

“Uh-oh... Listen, I really didn’t want to upset you last night. I told you what happened because I care abou-”

“Stop.” She promptly cuts him off.

“Okay...” He sounds increasingly nervous.

“I’m using my vacation time.”

“Oh! ... I thought you were saving that?”

“... Yeah...” She grumbles, giving her phone an angry squeeze. “I need to see you. Are you free?”

“Sure!”

“Good.”

“Is everything okay? Are you coming-?”

“I’m coming over!” She interjects with a forceful growl.

“Alright. I’ll see you s-”

Ginger pulls the phone away from her floppy ear and promptly hangs up on him. She tosses her phone into her bag and begins hastily pulling on her clothes. She’s so anxious to reclaim her femininity that she ends up walking out of the shower with wet, matted hair and fur, and wearing her pants and the tank-top that’s often underneath her uniform top. Even the edge of her panties sticks out above the waist of her pants!

Ignoring the strange looks and a few crude comments by a few filthy men on their way to the built-in jail at the rear of the police station, Ginger makes her way into the parking lot and jumps into her 2016 Volkswagen Beetle. She starts her car, shifts into gear and takes off so fast that the engine has barely started by the time she’s racing down the street toward Ian’s house! Along the way, she passes Ken-Do Gentleman’s Club. Parked outside and near the front door is a maroon and black Charger.

“Wow...” The yellow and cream cat chokes out, still in disbelief. “So, like... Handcuffed and in the back of your squad car?!”

Nina spins her half-empty glass of lager, looking down in what some might call shame. Turning her eyes up, she looks at her fraternal twin, the most popular exotic dancer at the club. Though she tries, she cannot help but smirk, beaming with sinister pride.

“Yeah... I guess I just couldn’t help myself.”

“Hot! But I also get why she’s upset...” Nikki remarks, adjusting her bikini top and pulling it under her large boobs. “I wouldn’t worry too much, though. I mean, it’s not like besties haven’t shared a man before! Just blame it all on him; she’ll slap him a few times and then get over it. I doubt it’ll turn into anything serious, unless she really, really likes this guy.”

“Uhh...” Nina’s eyes dart to the left and to the right.

“Oh, shit...” Nikki covers her golden eyes with her hand. “I take that back; you might have a problem...”

“You think?!”

“You know, I always thought your partner was a bit of a cold fish. Super shy and soft-spoken. He must be really hot or something!”

“I wouldn’t say that. I mean, he’s not ugly; he’s alright, but he just has this... Aura? I don’t know... He’s got this nice, innocent air that really draws you in! You feel like you can tell him anything. It makes me just wanna-! ... Mmm...”

“Human?” Nikki smirks.

“Yeah.” Nina winks.

“Oh, I definitely get it, now.” Nikki giggles and nods. “So, what’s he do?”

“I don’t know what his job is, just that he’s in that local metal band. He’s the drummer.”

“... OH!!! I know that guy!!!” Nikki exclaims, her eyes wide and a big grin on her face.

“Really?!”

“Yeah! His band came in here once for a VIP party! Yeah, I totally get why your partner is so mad... Mmm-yeah... That night was something else...” The yellow cat seems to daydream, her dreamy eyes staring thirstily at a darkened corner as she loses herself in her own thoughts.

“Nikki? ... Nikki!” Nina furls her brow.

“… Huh? What?”

“You didn’t... Did you?”

“Didn’t what?!” Nikki sounds a little defensive.

“You know...”

Nina makes a circle with her index finger and thumb before repeatedly inserting another finger inside of it. Nikki’s golden eyes widen, and she leans back in her seat. With an arm extended and her wrist bent in a most feminine manner, she rests her dainty fingers against her furry chest, just above her bosoms, and makes a rather melodramatic gasp.

“Wha-?! Heh! N-no! Don’t be silly! I don’t do that VIP thing! I’m a stripper not a prostitute! We never! I promise... Ahem... Anyway...” Nikki’s eyes dart to the left and to the right as her cheeks flush beneath her brightly colored fur, giving her a rosy hue.

“...”

“So... Uhm... How long are you off?” Nikki swiftly changes the subject.

“I don’t know. Until they finish the investigation, I guess.” Nina replies before chugging the last of her lager.

“Well, first order of business is to stay the hell away from Ginger. She’ll be fuming for a while after a stunt like that, though I wouldn’t be surprised if she focuses her energy elsewhere.”

“What do you mean?”

“Never mind... Hey! Since you have the time now, you can hang out with me! I hardly ever get to see you! We could take that trip we always talked about!” Nikki excitedly leaps out of her seat.

“What about your job?”

“I’ve got time and a lot of money saved up. I’m, like, the most popular dancer here! Izzy’s a close second; that little fox can enjoy the spotlight for a few days.” Nikki giggles.

The Sphynx sisters make their way to the changing room where Nikki grabs her regular clothes. She pulls on an outfit that looks almost like business casual, but with a skanky flare; her tightly fitting skirt is just a little too short and her blouse, though elegant and with decorative trim, has a deep-cut V neck that shows off her perfect cleavage. Like many of her kind, she forgoes shoes in favor of her own, thick footpads, her toe-claws clicking on the tile floor as she leads her sister toward the front door.

“I can’t see how you wear those booty-things.” She remarks, pointing down at Nina’s feet. “Footwear is for humans, sis.”

“Criminals think they’re clever, leaving needles and dead soldiers for me to step on.”

“Dead soldiers?”

“How do you not know what that means?! Half the people I’ve arrested this week are sitting right over there!”

“Because I’m a good girl.” Nikki winks and giggles.

“Riiight...” Nina rolls her eyes.

As they make their way to the front door, a heavyset squirrel man with strong arms smiles at Nikki and gives her butt a slap.

“Oh!” She jumps. “Hehe! Ken!” Nikki turns to the man, the owner of the club.

“Leaving early?”

“Yeah. I need to take some time off. Gonna take a trip with my sister!” Nikki drapes an arm over Nina’s shoulders.

“Alright. Izzy’ll be happy about that.” Ken laughs. “Have fun, girls. See you when you get back.”

The squirrel winks at Nikki before hastily eyeballing Nina’s equally exquisite form. Before Nina can take offense and split his lip, he disappears deeper into his club.

“Speaking of booty-things...” Nina murmurs under her breath as the leave the club. “That guy’s a pig. Tell me you aren’t fu-”

“HAH!” Nikki exclaims, interrupting her sister. “He wishes! I don’t mess around with bosses. Bad business. Besides, I’ve got a type!”

“Oh, really?” Nina raises an eyebrow and smirks.

“Mhm! It’s a lot like yours.” Nikki glances back at her sister and winks.

“Human lover.” Nina teases.

“Skin-tubes need love, too. Follow me back to my place! See if you can keep up!”

Nikki jumps into her brand new, hot pink Mazda Miata convertible and takes off, almost leaving her sister behind. For a moment, Nina can feel the rush of adrenaline and reaches for the radio only to slap her palm against the infotainment screen. With a little scowl of frustration, she takes her foot off the accelerator once she’s caught up to Nikki, who isn’t even speeding. It’s a calm and peaceful drive through many back roads and residentials, and they make it to Nikki’s house in short order.

It’s a quaint little brick house in an older but quiet part of town, a place that Nina knows is one of the safer neighborhoods in Ferretville; most of the residents here are geriatrics. Inside, she finds the home is elegantly decorated, with high-end furniture and reproduction artwork that gives it a classical and perhaps even intellectual vibe. It’s also exceedingly clean; there’s not a speck of dust anywhere.

“Foxra, play some music for me.” Nikki commands the little dome-shaped device atop her coffee table.

It promptly begins playing smooth jazz. It's all quite the surprise, as Nina has never thought of her sister to be the cultured type. However, what isn’t surprising is what happens next. Nina finds herself in Nikki’s bedroom, equally well-furnished with expensive oak furniture and a nice Queen-size bed. She stands near the walk-in closet with arms crossed, leaning against the wall and grumbling to herself as Nikki scours her entire wardrobe, rows upon rows of clothing organized by type and color.

“How about this? Does this look cute on me? OH! What about this bikini?! I’ll definitely want to wear this on the beach! How’s this dress look for dining out? Do you think I need to bring something casual just in case we hit up any gift shops? I should probably bring a bra; I don’t want my perfect tits bouncing around in front of little kids. Does this skirt make me look like a tramp?”

This continues for some time as Nikki spends more than an hour digging through a proverbial storefront of clothes, stopping and turning to her sister to get her opinion on every single piece. After the world’s longest packing session, Nikki leaves with her dainty little purse, a teensy designer backpack with some toiletries and a single hardshell suitcase on wheels.

“We’re only going to be there for a weekend!” A flabbergasted Nina remarks.

“Yeah, well, you never know what’ll happen. I like to be prepared!” She chirps, collecting a string of condoms from her nightstand and stuffing them into her purse.

“I see...”

“Now it’s your turn. I finally get to see where you’re hiding!” Nikki giggles.

They climb into Nikki’s car and race back to the police officer’s apartment. Nina’s cheap apartment is in a very lived-in part of the city, and it almost feels like another world. Horns beep, crowds walk amidst each other glaring in silent rage or otherwise ignoring everything but their phones, and every other building is made of plate glass or grimy bricks. Nina glances over her shoulder several times after Nikki parks in the enclosed garage; her hand hovers over her hip as her eyes scan the pillars and dark corners.

“What’re you looking for?” Nikki asks.

“Threats.” Nina calmly replies.

“Oh... Will my bags be safe?!” She glances anxiously at her convertible.

“We can only hope.” Nina teases.

They walk down a bland white hall with slate grey doors and a cheap laminate floor that feels a little tacky.

“Ugh... Now I know why you wear those boots.” Nikki murmurs, her footpads pulling against the floor with every step.

“Yeah, you get used to it. Here’s mine.”

“Unit 66, and you’re on the 6th floor...” Nikki pauses.

“Yeah. So?” An oblivious Nina glances back.

“... Nothing!”

As she unlocks her front door, Nina catches a paperclip she’d stuck between the door and the top of the frame.

“Good. All clear.” She remarks, to her sister’s confusion.

Following her sister into the apartment, Nikki is briefly frozen in shock. It takes her a moment before she makes her way fully inside, and only after Nina calls out to her.

“Get your ass in here and close the door! I don’t want the neighbors getting an eye-full!”

Shutting the door behind her, Nikki’s eyes scan the little apartment. It’s barely a studio! One large room with a waist-high wall separates a bedroom and living area from the combined kitchen and dining room. The appliances, counterspace and cupboards are all along one wall, with a two-person card table and folding chairs in front of them and pressed against the partition. At least the bathroom has a door, though it’s attached to the kitchen which unsettles the cleanliness-minded feline. The bathroom door is right beside the refrigerator.

As she examines her sister’s apartment, Nikki cannot help but notice how spartan it is in comparison to her home. The furniture is cheap and utilitarian, downright bland, and the only decorations on the walls are a small shelf with Nina’s commendations and a rogue’s gallery of mugshots, some of them with red Xs over them. It looks like the kind of place a college student would live. Surely, the local police can afford nicer homes! ... Right?

“Who are these guys?” She asks, pointing at the wall of mugshots.

“Criminals I arrested. These were some of my best cases.” Nina rests her hands on her hips, beaming with pride as she examines the collage.

“And why are some of them crossed out?”

“Those are the ones who won’t be walking the streets again, if you know what I mean.” Nina turns to her and flashes a sinister grin.

“Oh... So, uhm, why is your bed angled like that?” Nikki wonders, seeing her bed in the corner directly across from the front door.

“I want to be able to see my enemies coming.” Nina replies.

“I don’t see a dresser. Where do you keep your clothes?” Nikki asks, looking around the apartment as she takes a seat at the edge of Nina’s bed, near her pillow.

Nina lifts her sister’s legs and pulls open drawers in her bedframe, revealing neatly rolled clothes stowed inside.

“Oh...”

Nina leans over the foot of her twin bed, a clawed hand resting on the antique brass bedpost. She grabs a black, military-style backpack from a well-concealed corner and heaves the heavy pack up and onto the cheap foam mattress.

“You’ll have to give me a minute. I only have this one, and it’s already packed for emergencies.” Nina remarks as she dumps out the contents of her pack.

Nikki watches in stunned silence as emergency food rations, survival tools, tactical gear, and weapons come tumbling out.

“I might need that! Oh, and definitely this! Can’t forget one of those!” Nina grabs a magnesium fire-starter, compass, and a survival knife. “Can’t leave home without a pistol! Do you think this one’s too big?” She asks, picking up her Glock 43X from the pile and holding it against her side, as if she was trying on an accessory.

“Uhm...”

“Yeah, you’re right. Too big. Gonna draw too many eyes. I might need something more compact.”

Nina leans past her sister and opens the nightstand drawer, revealing a startling sight. Inside is a foam brick with many cut-outs, and inside each one is a different pistol. The nightstand drawer contains no less than eight handguns!

“How does this one look? Do you think it’ll print? Maybe something more like this? I get real good groups with this one, but thirty-twos don’t have much stopping power. Makes a good back-up gun, though... OH! Want me to bring it for you?! We could do some plinking!!!”

“... No thanks...”

“Suit yourself.”

Nina tries pistol after pistol before settling on a Charter Arms Undercover Lite and two Rugers, an LCP MAX and an LCP II Lite.

“Do you really need all those?” Nikki winces as her sister packs the three pistols and a half-dozen boxes of ammo into her backpack.

“Hey, like you said, it’s good to be prepared.”

“That’s not really what I had in mind...”

“I’m sure as hell not going to hook-up with a stranger while we’re at the beach.” Nina snickers. “This world is too dangerous for stuff like that.”

“Right...”

Nina pulls out some clothes from her bedframe drawers and sets them aside. As she stuffs the rolled-up clothing into her pack, Nikki skims through them.

“These clothes are all so bland! Why are they all so bland?!” She whines.

“They cover my body. That’s good enough.” Her sister retorts.

“Even your panties are the white, bulk pack stuff!” Nikki exclaims in horror, holding up a pair. “There’s not a single pretty design. No flowers or butterflies or a funny little ‘slippery when wet’ slogan...”

“So?!” A defensive Nina snatches her panties from her sister.

“And I don’t see a swimsuit or bikini in here anywhere! What are you going to wear to the beach?!”

“Yeah, well... We’ll have to make a trip to the store, I guess...” Nina murmurs.

Once they’re packed, the duo returns to Nikki’s car. Her backpack rattles and clanks as she tosses it into the trunk, half-full of knives, guns, and ammunition.

“Hey, I just had a thought!” Nikki suddenly exclaims as she shuts her door.

“That’s a first.”

“Are you able to leave town with that investigation ongoing?”

“... Sure. Why not.”

“You won’t get in trouble or something?” Nikki presses.

“Drive the damn car...”

The sisters make their way out of the city, enjoying the nice weather; they feel the sun on their faces and the wind in their fur. Just as they’re about to leave the city of Ferretville, on the road that leads to the small and eerie town of Caligo, they find a police blockade.

“Uh-oh. Do you think there was an accident or something?” Nikki turns to her sister.

“Could be, but that’s an awful lot of squads for a crash.”

BANG! Nikki jolts and places a hand on her chest.

“What was that?!”

Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang! A cop emerges from behind two police cars and starts waving, directing the lone car to turn around.

“What should I do?!” Nikki asks in a growing panic.

“Cooperate.” Nina rolls her eyes.

Nikki drives closer to the roadblock and begins to make a three-point turn only for Nina to recognize the police officer.

“Hey, Rodriguez!”

“Nina?!” The man steps forward.

“What’s up?”

“Oh, just another zombie outbreak.”

“Again?! But... We’re going to the beach!” Nikki pouts.

“If you need to go through, take Claire Avenue out of town. That way’s clear. We’ve cordoned off a quarter mile while we deal with this one.”

“How’d it start? Another lab leak?” Nina wonders.

“Oh, God! They’re everywhere!” A distant voice proclaims amidst the gunfire.

“Nope. Some kid found a zombie head. Took a chunk right out of his hand! I guess he didn’t tell anyone until it was too late.”

“Oh...” Nina’s eyes dart to the left and to the right.

“The kid’s parents didn’t want to accept the inevitable, so they locked him up. We heard that story from his big sister. She was the only survivor.”

“Rodriguez! Help us!!!”

“I gotta go. You enjoy your time off, and good luck with that investigation!” The officer chirps, drawing his pistol and darting off to join the fray.

“Thanks, Rodriguez. Stay safe.”

“Will do!”

“Get back, damn you! Rodriguez!!! ARGH!!!”

“I’m coming! Jeez!”

Nina turns in her seat and looks back, staring at the blockade as Nikki drives in the other direction, looking for the bypass. She nibbles on her bottom lip, her claws taping on the back of Nikki’s sports car as she anxiously flexes her fingers.

“You know, we could probably give them a hand.” Nina remarks with an ever-growing smile.

“No.”

“But-!”

“Hell no! We’re having a sisters-only vacation! You can kill zombies some other time!” Nikki barks.

“... You’re no fun...” Nina pouts, slumping back in her seat like a spoiled teen.

“Oh, yeah?” Nikki smirks.

On their way out of town, Nikki becomes lost. She was never that good at directions. After re-entering Ferretville and taking an entirely new route, they drive past a residential area. As they pass by the houses, Nina glances around, checking the cars and seeing how many of them are familiar. Suddenly, they pass a late-model Volkswagen Beetle with cream-colored paint and some flowers dotting it. Nina sits up as they pass it by.

“Hey, isn’t that Ginger’s car?” Nina quietly asks herself.

“What’s that?” Nikki asks, her ears focused more on the smooth jazz playing on the radio.

“Nothing... Never mind.”

Inside the house, the metal frame softly clanks and rattles. With her hands gripping the bar, Ginger pulls herself up before dropping herself down. With her teeth clenched and a fire in her normally docile eyes, the floppy-eared dog woman performs pull-up after pull-up, her muscles flexing as she grunts and snarls and huffs. Though she tries, her mind cannot escape the slight committed by her supposed partner, a woman she trusted with her very life. Inadequacy has creeped in, and her very being has been called into question. She must prove herself worthy. No... She must prove herself superior! She works a little harder, a little faster, in a race against herself as well as the spirit of Nina.

“I’m good! Nngh! I know I’m good! Hhff-hhff! No, I’m great! I beat almost all her records! Rrrr-hhff! I’m strong and beautiful, and I have even better curves than her! Nngf-hhff! Nina’s not better than me! I-I’m better than her! HHFF! I’m the best, right?! ... HNGH-RRRR!!! Ahh!!! Hhff-hhff-hhff!!!”

She yelps and winces, her chest heaving as she huffs and puffs. Unable to continue, Ginger lowers herself for the last time, thoroughly exhausted and panting for air. Though she’s ready to release the bar, her arms don’t fully extend. She clings to the bar of Ian’s bench press, straddling the padded bench beneath it. With shaky legs, she rises off the bench and leaves her flabbergasted lover lying there, his eyes wide with shock as his chest heaves with every labored breath. His eyes follow her in stunned silence as she hobbles over to a towel she’d left near their clothes, strewn about in a haphazard pile. She dabs her sweaty fur, wiping her face, neck, underarms and beneath her plump breasts, then cleans up the mess betwixt her legs.

“There! Hhff-hhff! How was that?”

“... What just happened?”

“I had to show you. Hhff-nnh. See? Hhff. I knew I was better than her. Hhff. I finished fast, and you were pretty quick, too. Harder was better, wasn’t it?” She looks to him with a proud and perhaps even cocky smile.

“Yeah...” He murmurs.

“Good! Now I feel like watching a romance and cuddling.” She remarks, hobbling as she heads for the bedroom, leaving him behind.

“Ginger, do you want to talk abou-”

“Get your ass in here and cuddle with me!!!” She roars, her voice deep and angry, like a demon’s.

“Fine...” He grumbles, rolling off the bench and stumbling after her.
