I woke up in a forest, the tree's arms protecting me from the sun. I felt a stinging pain on my left eye, it feeling like a thousand needles poking at it. I stood up sensed around, wondering where I was and how I got here. You see, I am blind, at least physically I am. I can see the aura imprints on others...like, I can see with my power, but not my eyes. So I didn't see color real good. It was a pain, because I didn't really know what my friends looked like, only what they told me. I was feeling very thirsty, so I walked around, using my ears to listen for the sound of a river or stream for some kind. As I was looking for that, I smelled a few Oran berries on a bush. I quickly grabbed them and ate them, the nature of the berries giving me energy to continue. I finally stumbled upon a little river that was trekking through the forest. I ran over to it and started to lap the water up, gasping as the cold water went down my throat.

When I finished, I decided to look down and "see" myself. I was an Eevee...or rather...I guess you could call it a Wolvee. I wasn't like the other Eevee's...I was different. My Dad was a grey wolf, my Mom an Eevee. I took the form of an Eevee, but my fur was grayish silver because of my Dad. I also have two different colored eyes, the left one was red, and the right one was a light blue.

As I finished doing that, the pain on my left eye started again, weakening me. But how did it happen, I couldn't remember anything. Feeling tired, I laid down and curled up, instantly falling asleep.

Meanwhile, somewhere close to where Zachi was...

"Ok! I think I have all the berries I need! Now I just need to get some water, and I should be good and stocked for awhile." I said as I slung the bag on my shoulder and skipped happily down the trail that lead to my secret water spot, the one I found a while back while trailing down there. When I got there, I put the bag down and went over to drink a bit, the water cool and refreshing on my tongue.

I was a Riolu, and an interesting one at that. I was black and grey instead of the black and blue that most Riolu's were. It made me feel special, but the others always made fun of me for it. But I don't let them get to me. I am who I am, and nothing will ever change that.

As I was done drinking, I noticed a small bundle of fur over the other side of the stream. Curiosity getting the better of me, I found the stepping stones and crossed the river on them, almost tripping in on the way. I then walk over to the bundle of fur, and realize it was breathing. I was really curious, so I walked over and started to poke at it with my paw. It started to move, and I quickly jumped behind a rock, peeking up as I saw the thing get up.

I start to wake up again, this time, to something poking at me. I get up and scan the scene, and notice an aura over behind a rock. "Hey! You, behind the rock! What are you doing?" I asked as I padded over to the rock slowly, preparing for whatever was behind it.

He then heard a gasp, and then a Riolu jumped up on top of the rock, pointing at me. "How did you know I was here, and for that matter, why are you here in the first place? I found this spot, and it is rightfully mine." The Riolu said, looking fierce.

"I-I didn't know this place was taken...I am sorry to have trespassed...I will leave now..." I said with a sad tone, turning and starting to leave.

I then heard the Riolu sigh. "I am sorry ok, you look like your telling the truth...and I noticed you were hurt. That is a nasty scratch you got there..." I turn around to find him doing something, like grabbing something out of a bag. He then starts mashing it in something, and comes over to me. "Hey, this will help. It might sting at first, but it will feel better after, and it won't get infected."

He started to put it on my scratch, and it did sting a little as I let a little gasp escape my mouth. But it was soon gone, and replaced by a good feeling, the scratch starting to not hurt anymore. As he finished, he let out a satisfied sigh then put all of the stuff back in the bag. As he finished, he slung it over his shoulder and looked at me.

"You have a name? Mines Ryan." He holds his paw out in a gesture of friendship. I put my paw on his, and shook it.

"My name is Zachi. Nice to meet you Ryan." Ryan smiled, and then we both put our paws down.

"Well Zachi, do you have any place to stay? If not, you could hang out with me. I would love to hear tales of you travels. I don't get out often you see..." He said with a downed look. Well...I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea...I have nowhere to go anyways, since I can't seem to remember where I am from... I said to myself.

"Sure, I would love to stay with you." Ryan jumped with joy as I said this. He then pointed to my left.

"Great, that is the way we need to go over there, follow me!" He said as he made his way over to the stepping stones. He made his way across, and then waited for me. Luckily, the auras from his feet were still on the stones, and I followed them, making it over with ease. I then follow him as we go back out into the forest area, and start walking a good distance.

About 20 min. later, he said "We are just about there. Prepare to be amazed!"

We made our way passed a bush that had a sign reading, "Beware of arrows!" and we entered a clearing. If I could see, I would be looking at a very well built place. A tree was cut out at the base, which was apparently where he lived. There were training dummies all over the place, arrows being overlapped and split at middle of them. There was a fire pit in the middle of the clearing, with something cooking up apparently. He walked me over to the tree, and allowed me to go inside. The sight would have been amazing. Inside, there was a makeshift bed and a worktable that he used for something. As he walks inside, he points to the bed, and I jump on it and lay down, feeling tired fast.

"Yes, you might want to sleep. That is a side effect of my salve, it always makes you tired. You rest, and when you wake up, I will have supper ready." He said as I watched him walk out. I then drifted off, and started to have a nightmare...
