It has been almost two years since the war ended, even with aid from the Cornerian's the remnants of humanity struggle in the Lylat System as they try to find their footing. With only roughly 1.4 million humans surviving Earth's destruction and the war against the Venom forces, the survivors now have to make wise choices as extinction is now a true threat, the biggest start was the formation of the United Colonial Republic and the settlement of Fortuna as mankinds new homeworld. Thanks to Corneria the U.C.R. has been able to form it's rather small military quickly and establish trade routes with a chunk of their forces being stationed to help supplement the human forces, but time will tell if the humans can adapt and survive... or fade into history.

I'm walking towards the hanger of the Great Fox, wearing an updated version of my odst suit with it being blue plated and a black body glove, my sidearm is holstered on my right hip while a vibrosword is sheathed on my left.

I hear "All set to head down Adam?"

I look to see it's Fox and I say "Yup, let's see how development is coming along." with a light smile.

Fox says "Miyu and Fay are coming as well, always good to have more eyes. Plus Falco and Krystal will run a patrol route while Slippy inspects the dockyard."

I say "From what I've heard, so far two ships have already been constructed and launched with more on way."

Fox says "And more drydocks are being constructed too, it's slow but going steady." as we begin to walk side-by-side.

I say "With help from Corneria, mankind will survive." with a tone of hope in my voice.

Fox says "I'm just glad that they no longer have any bad feelings towards you."

I say "Some may still hold them, but now most know better."

We enter the hanger to see Miyu, Fay, Falco, Krystal and Slippy getting ready to launch their craft. Everyone looks our way as we approach them and quickly we gather around.

Fox says "Alright everyone, as we all know we're running an inspection drill, however Falco and Krystal will aid in the patrols, we can't be too careful."

Krystal looks to me and she says "Ready to see the homeworld hon?" with a light smile.

I say "Yeah, I can't wait to get down there." with a smile of my own.

Miyu says "Then, let's not waste anymore time." with a light smile.

Krystal gives me a kiss and she says "I'll see you later hon." keeping her smile.

I give her a kiss back and I say "See you later." with my smile becoming warmer.

We all get into our fighters and proceed to where we need to go, as we descend I look down at the small settlements of industry and agriculture, military posts and bases are also present. We soon come to the capital city, New Jamestown, the city is still under construction in some areas, but for the most part it seems to be done. Buildings of stone and steel stand firm against the sky as the flag of the U.C.R. blows in the light wind in several areas, the flag is loosely based off of the old United States flag, at it's center is a white star while the corners are royal blue each baring a gold star and rest is a field of crimson red.

I smile as I look across the land, the sights providing hope in this time of need.

Our four fighters land at a surface landing pad, to which we leave our craft and begin the inspection.

I remove my helmet to breath in Fortuna's air, it's hot and humid but it is manageable, think of it kind of like hot summer day, I look around to see buildings providing goods and services, people laughing and joking as they go about their lives, workers finishing up construction and the occasional patrol from local law enforcement or even personnel from the U.C.R.'s military.

Miyu says "Wow, the rate at fast this has all been built is impressive." with an impressed smile.

Fox says "Thanks to the pre-built modules from Corneria, construction was sped up."

Fay says "I still remember seeing these people after the emergency evacuation, it's good to see them full of hope." with a light smile.

We begin inspecting several facilities, including a couple military factories, one producing small arms like akm assault rifles, mg34's, mg42's, rpg-7's, guided launchers, mortars, multiple sidearms, mp40's, m1a1 thompsons, trench guns and so on. The other is producing light vehicles like the sd.kfz 251 halftrack, armored cars, humvee's and amphibious cars. Another factory is making volkssturmgewehr semi-auto rifles but instead uses akm mags and ammunition, for civilian use in militias or to supplement the other weapons

Fox says "Atleast we know the military forces will have some equipment."

I says "Kind of interesting, a mix of our mid 20th century tech alongside the advanced space craft."

Fox says "I heard they dropped the few remaining abrams tanks from service due to how complex and expensive they are."

Fay says "To be fair, the Venom's chewed through them and next to no spare parts were brought along. But what exactly are they going to replace them with?"

The sound of a loud engine comes into play with creaking sound of tracks and I say "I think we're about to find out."

We arrive where some people are gathering, a tank is moving down the road, it's distinctive slopped and curved armor pattern giving it away, it a T-90 main battle tank, it's pained in a fresh coat of bluish-grey paint with the U.C.R.'s flag on either side of the turret as a btr-90 escorts it.

I say "A T-90? Hope they upgraded the armor at least to deal with energy weapons. But other then that it's a really good tank." with a light smile.

Miyu says "Do any of you know how big the U.C.R.'s military is?"

Fox says "Last I checked it's around 80,000 in personnel."

Miyu says "Hmm, not a bad size actually."

An alarm suddenly goes off, sounding like an air raid horn and a voice sounds "Attention, this is not a drill! An enemy force is attacking, all non-military and security personel are to retreat to the designated shelters! I repeat this is not a drill!"

Fox's communicator beeps, Fox opens the comm link and he says "Falco, what's going on?"

Falco's voice comes through "A fleet just arrived and their beginning their attack!"

Krystal's voice tunes in "Their markings identify them as part of the Sharp Claw tribe!"

Fox says "What?! Their back now!"

Miyu says "They must've secretly built up their forces."

Fay says "And now their making power play."

Up in the sky pods that look to be made from asteroids come crashing down, I quickly put my helmet on.

Fox says "Adam and Miyu, go assist the forward forces. Fay and I will head to the main command post!"

We ready our weapons with Miyu readying a submachine gun while Fay and Fox ready their blasters and we head off where we need to go.

We get to the front line where security and military personnel, armed with mp40's and akm's firing at the crashed astroids, massive figures emerge, these humanoid dinos charge from the smoke, most wearing impressive armor, some are holding shields for more protection and are armed with swords, axes and maces, sharp teeth fill their mouths as they roar and their eyes are ablaze in frenzy.

I jump over a railing, firing my blaster pistol on full auto at one of the dinos but the shots are having no effect aside from the initial burn.

The dino laughs at me and he says "Fukxokas! No ouk weet kedawxk!" as he readies his mace.

I say "A ted'k kxadb je tade rhoukx!" as I change the firing mode of my side arm to it's armor piercing mode and ready my sword.

The sharp claw charges, my vibrosword clashes with the head of his mace, the sword blade slowly cuts into it, catching my opponent by surprise, he go to shield bash me but I back off, I aim my pistol at him and quickly get a shot off. The shot hits his shield but it goes clean through it, I hear the dino yell as steam comes from behind the shield, he drops to his knees, he looks to me as steam leaves his mouth and the wound from my shot, with a quick swing I decapitate him and move deeper into the fray, repeating the process until my pistol overheats and I have to stick to my sword until it cools off enough to shoot again.

Suddenly loud gunfire takes the air, I look to see soldiers dropping like flies, a huge dino emerges wearing heavy metal armor to where no flesh is exposed, with both hands he's holding what looks more like an autocannon then a heavy machine gun.

I yell "GET TO COVER!" as I provide covering fire before ducking behind a wall.

Heavy bullets start smashing through the wall, I quick go prone and chunks of concrete explode over my head.

I look to see how big the holes are, by the looks of it that weapon is firing 20mm rounds and thankfully it's firing solid core rounds and not flak, otherwise I'd likely be dead now.

I slowly get up, I look out one of the holes to see the dino walking towards two soldiers using mp40's, the 9mm rounds bouncing off and not even leaving a scratch. I run from my cover, I quickly aim my sidearm and fire, the energy hits the autocannon and destroys the center of it. The armored dino drops the ruined weapon, it turns me as it quickly readies a dagger and charges at me, I go to pull the trigger but no energy comes just the beeping from heat sensor can be heard, I quickly holster it and brace with my sword. Bullets begin striking the armored creature, Miyu comes charging as her weapon unloads it's payload, the dino pulls out another dagger and tosses it at her, barely missing her as she jumps to the side, I charge as I swing my blade, it cuts into the monsters abdomen, blood spills out from the cut, the dino knocks me away as I lose my grip on my sword.

The dino laughs and it says "0ei dekxadw!" as it removes my sword from it's wound.

I look to see a an rpg next to a fallen soldier, I quickly get up and start running, I grab the weapon and aim it at the dino.

The dino roars as it tosses my sword at me, it falls short, I fire the rpg but I miss as the dino lowers it's stature as it charges, the dino hits my helm with a hard punch, nearly shattering the faceplate, it lifts me up in it's left claw as I see it's eyes.

The creature says "Vcu0 kxo vcojx!" as it aims it's dagger at my chest.

Miyu lands on the beasts back, the dino twirls itself around, trying to get her off, I grab my pistol, hoping my sidearm can fire a shot, I look to Miyu, she nods, I fire as she jumps off, blowing a hole into the dinos neck, the dino throws me as it tries to seal it's neck but collapses and stops moving.

I groan as I remove my helmet, I toss it as it a decent chunk of it's vision is useless, I feel my shoulder being touched, I look to see it's Miyu.

Miyu says "You okay bro?"

I say "Yeah, just roughed up a little." as she helps me up.

Miyu hands me my sword and she says "It seems these dinosaurs handle small arms just fine. But thankfully their not too bright."

I look to see aircraft heading our way, but they are neither Cornerian or human and they look like...

I yell so everyone can hear me "BOMBERS!!!"

We go to retreat but more Sharpe Claw come at us, I go to fire my pistol but once again it's too overheated.

Miyu says "Bro, the re-try craft, we can use that as shelter!"

I say "Let's move!' and with that we bolt as a few others join us.

We jump in the craft, we look at the crude hydraulics, I look to see a lever, I quickly yank it as explosions start, the doors close and explosions start to rock the craft. The lights flicker from the impacts as we lay flat on the ground, after about 10 seconds it dies down and stops.

I slowly get up as I say "Is everyone alright?"

Miyu says "I'm fine." as she stands and those that join us simply nod.

I say "We need to retreat to the nearest command post."

One of the soldiers says "The closest one is only about a mile from here, I can escort you sir."

I say "Alright, as soon as this thing opens, we run and don't stop, if we do the dinos will rip us apart!"

I throw the lever and as soon as it opens we run for it, some dinos come at us but thankfully they are too slow. We make it to a bunker that has flak and heavy machine guns protecting it, we make it inside and I say into my comm "Fox, do you read me?"

I hear Fox "Adam? Thank goodness, I thought those bombers got ya."

I say "We used one of their pods as a bunker, quite a tough nut to crack. What's the situation?"

Fox says "Fay and I are holding position, but they keep coming."

I hear screaming from the sky, I look out one of the view ports to see another pod and I see "We need air superiority, a decent chunk of our weapons can't bring them down once they make planet fall!"

Fox says "Affirmative, Adam and Miyu get your fighters in the air, once the sky is clear we'll go from there."

I say "Copy that."

Miyu reloads her smg, while I grab an akm with as much ammo as I can carry and we dash towards the landing pad we arrived at.

Miyu says "Good thing everything was set up, otherwise another evacuation will be taking place."

I say "If we keep the dinos at a distance we can take em on, but the smaller caliber weapons have practically no effect."

Miyu says "Let's hope that akm does something."

I say "Only one way to find out."

A few SharpeClaw stand between us and our craft, Miyu looks to me as she raises her left hand, she quickly drops it as she re-grips her weapon, we charge towards the dinos, our weapons fire on a blaze of firepower. The dinos begin to charge us as they raise their shields which are getting blown apart, while Miyu's smg is doing better thanks to it's armor-piercing core, the akm is doing almost as good thanks to it's raw stopping power and just as the mags for both weapons run out the last dino drops.

We run to our craft as we reload, we toss our weapons into the storage area of our fighters and we take off.

I say "Fox, what do we have on the enemy air forces?"

Fox says "The enemy air force is small, about half a dozen fighter squadrons and a handful of bombers. They were able to enter the atmophere but I doubt they can leave planet on their own."

I say "Sounds easy enough, let's see what their pilots can do."

We go to engage the enemy craft and they look like a crude mix of early to mid 20th century craft and more advanced tech, the bombers look somewhat like b-29 bombers but are larger and packing some major firepower as smoke belches out the engines, as for the fighters they vaugly resemble mig-17's but with far larger guns and construction to match. We look around to see cornerian fighters in the colors of the U.C.R. join us, before it was a fair fight, now it's just overkill. Both sides clash and heavy bullets from the dinos and energy fire from our forces exchange blows.

I say "Wow, these fighters are able to go toe-to-toe with us!"

Miyu says "Yeah, it looks like they've been busy!"

I fire my wraith's twin laser which obliterates an enemy fighter and I say "But at least they go down like anything else."

Up ahead I see the bombers as they approach a command post, their bomb bay doors open as they go on an attack vector.

Miyu says "I can handle these guys, go take down those bombers."

I say "Affirmative sis!", I floor the accelerator and close in on the bombers from the side, I strafe them which destroys a lined ships without much effort even with their light shields and I say "Targets are down, proceed to destroy any remaining hostiles." as I go rejoin Miyu.

Fox says "Adam, Fay and I are heading to our fighters, we'll assist in further operation here. The other might need your help in space."

I say "I'm on my way." as I change course.

Miyu says "Kick some dino tail bro!"

My wraith goes through the atmosphere, I use the boost to get through and soon I'm in orbit to see quite a sight. The orbital defense systems, docks and stations have suffered extensive damage just by looking at a glance with a few of these dead ramshackle cruisers that have been torn apart. At a glance I can tell these are craft used by the dinos with a small fleet remaining currently engaging both the few human ships and the station Cornerian forces. The dino ships look roughly put together with heavy armor and weapon systems as they move almost on par with their Cornerian counterparts, at the core are a group of what look to be carriers with their bays being nothing more then large boxes merely pasted on the ship by the looks of it as most of their heavy weapons were replaced by these hangers.

I hear Falco "Adam, nice to see you up here, we could use your help."

I say "What's the situation?"

Falco says "These creeps have inflicted sever damage to what's up here, we've been able to hold them off but their about to break through!"

I think and I say "Falco and Krystal, I have a plan, just hold them off a little longer." as I activate the wraith's camo and stealth systems.

I quickly have my fighter move in from the top of the enemy fleet as I arm my shape charge launcher, I fire the launcher as I uncloak and start firing my lasers, the shape charge hits the center ship in it's engines as I spray my laser shots in the carrier next to it. The shape charge explodes followed by the capital ship itself, I keep spraying the other carrier until I see it's bridge explode, I swing around and crush the bridge of the other ship.

I quickly turn my ship around to see squadrons coming after me, I have my ship charge towards them, my lasers firing wildly as I yell "FOR THE FALLEN!!!"

The fighters fall like flies to the advanced lasers before I regroup with Falco and Krystal.

Krystal says "Nice job hon, now the enemy is breaking apart."

A few of the remaining cruisers turn around and enter ftl, but a handful of cruisers and craft remain.

I say "Rob, is the railgun operational?"

Rob says "Affirmative, all three ships can be destroyed in one shot if need be."

I say "Make it so, we'll mob up the rest."

The Great Fox fires it's rail gun, going through the three cruisers like nothing and they explode. The remaining fighters stop moving and soon they surrender, with similar reports coming from the ground. After all the bloodshed is counted and prisoners are taken into custody, I find myself on the bridge of the Great Fox with the others as a hologram of Pepper speaks.

Pepper says "We don't know what caused the Sharpe Claw to attack, but we can say for sure that no human has even come close to reaching Sauria thanks to the recolonization efforts."

Fox says "They probably thought they were going after an easy target, but it doesn't explain the aggressive attack, the Sharoe Claw haven't been like this since Scales was defeated."

Pepper says "Either way, the U.C.R. has just declared war on Sharpe Claw and are proceeding with an invasion task force."

Krystal says "I guess the peace wasn't meant to last."

Pepper says "There's more, the U.C.R. government is asking for Cornerian intervention and is willing to hire the Star Fox Team to assist."

Fox looks to me as if asking me the obvious question, I nod back, he looks back to Pepper and he says "Tell the U.C.R. it's a deal and we are en route to Sauria."

Pepper says "Very well Star Fox and we'll provide what we can. Pepper out." and his transmission cuts.

I sigh and I say "Another war and so soon?"

Krystal puts a hand on my shoulder and she says "We'll make sure it's short war hon." with a reassuring smile and tone.

Fox says "Trust me Adam, no one wanted to see your race swept into another conflict so swiftly."

I say "Whatever happens I want to be part of the first wave."

Fox says "We'll make it so."

Rob has the ship go to warp and we find ourselves on the outskirts of Saurian space with a very small group of human vessels, most of them are cruiser-sized carriers with retrofitted frigates and destroyers. But at the battle groups center is a massive ship with mighty kinetic weapons along it's top, the sides are kind of boulbous with mighty engines at the sturn.

I say "I don't recognize that ship?!" stunned at the sight, I look to Peppy and I say "Peppy, can you get a read on it?"

Peppy says "The ship is 251 meters across and 36 meters abeam, main weapons are 4x2 8x38cm navel guns, secondary gun batteries are 6x2 12x15cm navel guns to complement the main gun batteries, other weapons that are spread all over the hull are 8x2 16x10.5cm flak gun turrets, 16x2 3.7cm flak guns and 12 2cm flak guns, the bow has two torpedo launchers with two more forward facing on each side and two more on either side facing it's stern, it's mass looks to be just over 50,000 tons, shield systems are onboard and it's armor is 320mm at it's belt, horizontal armor at 110mm."

I say "A battleship?"

Peppy says "Indeed, it doesn't have a name, the U.C.R. refers to it as 'Battleship Alpha'."

Fox says "Looks like the U.C.R. wants to bring a quick end to this too."

A small Cornerian fleet arrives as we all begin battle preparations, I decide to join the orbital shock troops to try to help them gain some footing in the initial stages and later on switch to my fighter.

Krystal comes up to me and she says "The troop carrier will be here in a few minutes hon, are you ready?"

I ready an mg42 and I say "I'm all set."

Krystal readies a machine gun and she says "I'll be joining you in assisting the ground forces, I've been here before so I should be able to help."

I say "Sounds good, we may have maps and stuff, but it's always good to have experience on your side."

The dropship comes which is a more advanced model of the ship that carried me to the Lylat system... but without the jump drive for obvious reasons. Krystal gives me a quick kiss before we get into our pods, I place my akm in the side holder, the pod seals and wait.

I hear a voice "Attention, those of the 1st wave, be advised orbital bombardment was canceled, but our bombing craft have hit the enemy posts, expect heavy resistance from the identified Sharpe Claw forces."

I feel the pod move and it launches, more pods and landing craft have launched, the ruined earth below me is sending up anti-air fire, hitting some craft and some of the pods, my pod lands, I have it open as I grab my mg42 and bolt out. Our forces have set up a command post with tanks backed up by infantry pushing forward, I look to see Krystal coming my way and we both regroup at the post.

I say "What's the situation?"

The c.o. says "The dinos have a pretty tough outpost up ahead and our tanks are squaring off against theirs but we are making progress.", he pulls up a map of the area and he says "There's an artillery group pounding our lines though and we need them gone!"

I say "We'll flank around knock em out."

The c.o. nods and he says "Expect heavy resistance, the dinos may not want to part with their guns too easily."

Krystal and I enter the jungle to try to find a way through.

Krystal says "If I remember right, there's an old path up ahead, but the Sharpe Claw have guarded it in the past."

I say "We don't have a choice, if that artillery group isn't dealt with the U.C.R. can't secure a beach head and they'll be slaughtered."

Krystal takes point as I follow closely, keeping an eye out for any hostiles. A group of dinos ambush us from all directions, I open fire with my mg42 as Krystal snaps to my back and opens fire with her machine gun, effectively we gun down group of dinos without much hassle, I load a new belt as the previous is spent and we move on as Krystal takes point again. We run into more groups of SharpeClaw but the result each time is the same, with out combined fire we wipe out each group with ease and we soon see the artillery guns, by the looks of they appear to be about 200mm guns with crude recoil buffers with loud booms as they fire and are on tank hulls, but what looks to be a tank is nearby. It's overall shape reminds me of the ww1 british tanks even only haing sponson cannons as anti-air guns blaze behind it.

I say "Not good, if we call in air support they'll be shredded."

Krystal says "And we don't have anything for anti-armor."

I get an idea, I contact Fox and I say "Fox, we have a heavily fortified artillery position with armor and anti-air capabilities. Requesting assistance."

Fox says "I'll have Rob beam you down something to assist, stand by."

I say "Copy that."

A light appears next to us, soon a landmaster is revealed, I look to Krystal and I say "Hon, hope in, I'm not leaving you exposed."

Krystal says "Very well, I'll also see if I can help you find hidden targets."

We both get into the cornerian tank and I have it move forward as I arm the cannon, the enemy tank notices us and fires one of it's sponsons, missing the landmaster though not by much as the shock wave hits us. I aim the landmasters laser at it and fire, decimating it but now more Sharpe Claw are coming at us with another tank, the enemy tank fires all three of it's cannons, only one directly hits us which shakes us up pretty good but the armor is holding.

I say "Nice shot scaly.", I fire the gun which hits the tank dead center and it explodes, I smirk and I say "But not good enough."

We arrive at the artillery cannons, I quickly fire at each of them, taking them out in a single shot, the dinos quickly retreat as they recover some of the anti-air guns.

I say "That should do it!"

Krystal says "Stop the tank!" in a panic.

I quickly stop, a loud boom blares as a large shell passes us, I look to see an artillery gun move towards us with it's barrel smoking.

I say "Damn, how many of these guns do they have?" as I quickly move the landmaster.

Krystal says "Their firing!"

I quickly have the landmaster hover up, the massive gun fires, sending us into the air by force as the inside flickers.

I say "They must have an autoloader!" as I land and move to flank the artillery tank.

The enemy artillery gun goes to turn but it proves way too slow as I get around it and fire into it, destroying the tank.

I look at the landmasters systems and I say "Suspension and d-fusion system is knocked out and I've lost the more advanced sensors, plus our armor was compromised from that shot!"

Krystal says "We need to fall back, otherwise we could lose the landmaster."

I contact Fox and I say "Fox, the enemy battery is dealt with but the landmaster has suffered critical damage, requesting permission to fall back!"

Fox says "Affirmative, fall back to the staging area."

I begin to back the landmaster up, I look up to see a large group of Sharp Claw heading our way.

I quickly think, I look to Krystal and I say "Get the landmaster to safety, I'll lead them away and meet you back at the beach head."

Krystal says "I can help!"

I say "There's too many teeth and not enough bullets, don't worry I'll be fine."

Krystal reluctantly nods and she says "I don't like it but, let's do it."

I hop out of the landmaster, I whip out my mg42 and I start shooting as I yell "ELOH XOHO 0EI ELOHWHEND CAQUHTJ!"

I end up hitting a few of them, one of the larger Sharp Claw roars as he points his halberd at me, the whole group comes running at me, I look to see the landmaster getting away as I turn tail, trying to reload the mg as I run. I come to a bridge that's hanging over a river, I quickly go to run across as I finish my reload, I suddenly feel the bridge give way, forcing me to let go of the mg42 as I grab onto the bridge, I look to see the mg42 fall into the water and get swept away. I hear laughing, I look up to see a huge SharpC law, one that's far bigger then the others, this one has green scales, mighty leather armor as his helmet has two horn, left claw is replaced with one of metal and he has these striking red eyes.

The dino says "Nocsemo ke Sauria jmeekxjbad, A um General Scales kxo hicoh ev kxo SharpClaw kharo!"

I say "Je 0ei'ho kxo adjkawukeh ev kxaj nuh! A um Adam, u momroh ev kxo Star Fox koum!"

Scales says "Star Fox? Star Fox! Kxuk'j jemokxadw A xulod'k xouht ad uwoj! Kxo0 tovoukot mo cujk kamo, rik kxaj kamo nacc ro tavvohodk!"

I think 'Fox and Krystal never told me of any confrontation here, only when the Aparoid's invaded.'

I feel the bridge move, I look to see Scales pulling me up "Ad kxo moudkamo, A ceeb vehnuht ke wokkadw jemo advehmukaed eik ev 0ei."

I look down at the water, I look back at him and I say "Mu0ro dopk kamo!" as I let go of the bridge.

I fall into the current, I let the water take me free for about ten seconds before I surface, I fight the river as best I can before I find a dirt covered beach and work my way onto it. I try to catch my breath as I take in my surroundings of the jungle, I pull out my side arm which is drenched, I try to test fire it but it won't work, so I holster it and bring out my sword.

I say into my comm "Fox, this is Adam, I've encountered the enemy commander and got washed into a river. I don't know where I am, do you copy?", I hear nothing but static, I say "Fox, do you read me?" and the static continues.

I sigh and decide to enter the jungle, using my vibrosword to clear the dense wood as I hear the distant sound of weapons fire. Thankfully my sword still works given how dense this jungle is and it does mean I still have something to defend myself with. Suddenly I hear movement, but it's light and rapid and not heavy like the dinos we've been facing, I look around for a few seconds only to find nothing and decide to pick up the pace, the footsteps come back but I decide to just keep pushing, the footsteps become more and more aggressive so I decide to just bolt, running as fast as I can, only cutting a quick vine here and there to clear the way, the jungle gives way to a cave, I jump in and look back to see nothing following me, I look to see a sign that reads in dino 'Thorntail Hollow', I decide to just follow the path and take my chances.
