Orange of the Twin Pools

This was a entry for a ghost story challenge in a discord server, based on an in-developed game Antilia.
"Femii" means "female".
You know the twin pools, deep inside the cave on the Isle of Kasau? I heard various yarns about it: Legends, Myths, and Witness Encounters. One stuck out to me the most.
Numerous miners reported to have seen an orange entity wondering the caves and just vanish without a trace, or just a bright orange flicker off in the distance leisurely blinking a few times before it stops. Fair amount think it's due to fatigue or lack of air of being in the cave for too long. Others however were starting to develop mental breakdowns and requested shorter hours, shift changes, or resigned.
Sometimesthis orange entity would say odd things. Commonly reported saying "Bracelet", "Bring me the distant", "Release me", "Only the distant".
Soon the miners had to put the labor to a halt as more were having mental breakdowns having firsthand experiences of the orange entity directly approaching them. Screaming, "Bring the distant!" or "You are not the distant! Leave!"
One poor soul, who wasn't part of the miners, entered in alone to try to find some answers and possibly communicate with it. Hours passed before a small team was sent in to retrieve her. They found her and brought her back, but she was traumatized with only a broken foot and a chunk of her clothing torn. It was reported her foot got stuck under a sizeable boulder, but wasn't in any emotional distress about that, and some of her clothing got caught on some stalagmites and rough edges of the cave wall leaving behind many sizeable pieces, but didn't seemed embarrassed either. She kept mumbling to herself softly, "The distant" nonstop, oblivious about her wellbeing.
A brother of the femii entered, armed with two others. They came back together, but emotionally scarred and the sibling having to be carried out with a broken leg and a few lacerations on an arm.
Details were vague of what happened in there between the femii and her sibling, only kept mumbling about "The Distant" and "Bracelet". It was hard to get any info without them snapping, eventually became hopeless and the investigation had to abruptly end inconclusive. Even to this day no one knows what really transpired; only that it involves the twin pools where orange entity last appeared.
Those caves are still mined to this day, but the shifts are short and the teams are small whilst constantly advised to not engage or try not to anger this orange entity. Fewer incidents have happened, but reports still frequently come in about it. They do avoid working close to the twin pools.
To this day no one knows what this "Bracelet" is or "The Distant" means or what this orange entity is. One thing is for certain however, while the twin pools may be a nice resting spot or a decent romantic area, be cautious about encountering the orange entity least you be another victim by it.
