Once you are finished with the sphinx, you move over and open the door on the right, and look into a very wide corridor. As you look to your left you see that the two doors open into the same corridor, and you look back at the sphinx, who appears to be smiling mischieviously.
You walk through the right door, not that it apparently made any difference, and before long you are back into the boring routine of left, right,left,right etc, for about ten minutes before something wonderfully new happens...the cave stops zigzagging and merely slopes down for about one hundred yards before coming to a door. You walk through the door, and look to your left.
There is a crown and a belt on a small table, both made of the finest gold and jewels, and instinctively you pick both of them up to look at them. This is not a problem, as neither of them are trapped, and both look beautiful. Both attempt to look subtle, the crown is less like one of those "GOSH, that's a crown" and more like a working crown. The belt glints, but does it's best at holding your trousers up. As you put them on, they both fit naturally, and you turn around.
Along a sloping-up passageway straight ahead, you see a beautiful diamond sparkling on a pedestal, not fifty yards away, it's edges glinting in the light. On the other hand, you have already got what you expected. On the other, other hand, it is a pretty diamond.
