Forgotten Ch. 2

my mind was dazed and i couldn't help but keep my thoughts focused on him. my only desire then was to be with him. i knew that i couldn't stay with him but i could sure as hell try. crossing the last street the lights that lit up the walkway stopped and darkness outlined the trees of Niski park. stopping i dreaded this. there were only two things i feared in the world and open darkness was one of them.
Taking a deep breath i pricked my ears foreward as i slowly walked towards the trail. dropping my tail i walked in about 15 feet and stopped as i heard a branch break. listening i didn't hear anything else so i continued to walk in for about 20 more feet. looking at the trees i felt for the inscription and found it on the fourth tree. stepping off the trail i walked behind the tree and stopped to listen again. perking my ears as i heard muttered curses and shuffling of feet i sank down to the ground. it would either be jase and his friends or someone else.
closing my eyes i waited for his voice to reach my ears out of the muttering sounds. i must have sat there for a good 7 minutes waiting. when i heard foot steps aproach the tree i had hid behind. holding my breath i felt my fear at its peak. i felt a hand on my shoulder and and heard his voice bearly above a whisper. "its fine now love. they're gone". Shivering in pleasure and relief.standing up i wraped my arms around his neck and lightly kissed his lips. closing my eyes i delighted in how he felt agenest me and the taste of him.
"love you're cold. and why are you wearing shorts?" he asked with a hint of laughter and amusement in his voice. "it's not that cold out. besides i had to hurry. they came home earlyer then i expected." i said as i wrapped my fingers around his. pulling me back onto the trail we walked back the way i had come but instead of going on capper street we turned onto Trinton street and headed back to his house.
as we reached his house he lightly pulled my tail and whispered in my ear. " what shall we do today love?" with that i shivered and jogged up the steps to the front door. " none of that Jase! you know what could happen" i said with my ears drooped down. "we have to wait till i can leave the cage that im trapped in and you know it"
"im sorry love. i didn't mean to. im just happy is all." he said stepping up and wrapping his arms around my waist."shall we go inside and warm up now?" he asked lightly nibbling on my ear. blushing i turned around and opened the door to his home.
