"Oh for fucks sake..."Fuck sake, fuck sake, fuck sake! God damned FUCKING door!"

He threw his entire body at the metal door, or what he thought was the metal door, trying to escape the cold and the dark of this metal tomb. After beating his paws raw against the unmovable mass in front of him, he slid helplessly to the ground, his back the the door.

"How the hell did you get yourself into this mess Mark? How the hell did you pull this off..."

Then, just then, it hit him. He can't remember a thing before waking up in this metal tomb. He scrambled like a mad man to find his jacket in the dark, hoping there would be more information for him to learn about himself than just his own name. He quickly found what felt like a phone. He spent a moment handling, instantly remembering every little detail about it. It's make, model, colour, all the little niggles and glitches that only he knew how to fix. It was all so familiar yet completely strange at the same time.

He turned the phone on, hoping to be able to ring someone for help. As it loaded, however, it stuck on a pure white screen, blinding the wolf who hadn't seen light for hours. After a few minutes of adjusting to the light he flicked the makeshift torch around the room, illuminating a large metal room with large meat-hooks on the ground. Just like the phone, a wave of familiarity washed over him. He stood up and paced the room, taking in every detail. To Marks annoyance though, familiarity was the only thing that came to him.

He returned to the metal door, examining it with the new light, hoping to be able to figure it out.

"The fucking room is upside down..."

Mark laughed to himself, he should have caught on earlier that it was but it also confused him immensely. Why would a meat freezer be upside down? He attempted at the door again, successfully this time.

What he saw made him wish he never opened the door.

Mark walked out into the remains of a collapsed building. From there all he could see was an expanse of the same thing. A land on fire. Rows of buildings, houses, apartments, offices, all of them either collapsed or

collapsing, with only a few standing steady. The land was either burning or burnt, trees stripped of their leaves and their bark. There was no grass. No bushes. No flowers. The land was devoid of all life.

Except for him.

"Oh for fucks sake..."

This is very short, for a variety of reasons, but mainly to flex out my writing a bit. I'm re-uploading these so the next few will be up soon.
