Back at the school Ruby and her friends got out of class and went to look for red and tsume they wanted to ask if they wanted to hang out but when they got to the classroom they found the classroom empty
"That's funny how come class 4.B is empty?" Ruby asked as she looked to the others
"That's because they're classes are out there doing their first mission so of course they wouldn't be here" Weiss said
"Wait dose that mean Tsume And red went out as well" Blake asked
"They couldn't have , they know they're not allowed off the school ground" Yang said
"Yes..but I don't think professor ozpin knew that" Said ruby
"Hold on before we get any ideas let's go check their dorm rooms first before we start freaking out ,I mean knowing the two of them they would always go back to the dorms after a long day in class they don't do anything else other than sleep in all day" Weiss said making them head to there dorm rooms and found it empty as well and now it was time for them to freak out. They went to Glynda to ask if she knew were they were and right at that time ozpin walked in. Back with Tsume and red they were still walking and talking about alto of things to make time past quickly
"You know ,if I had a weapon it would be a hammer"
"Really?"
"Yep, something like Nora has but I think it would be much better , what about you ?"
"I don't know , maybe a sword or a gun , I don't care as long as I can fight"
"Interesting" tsume said as They heard a roar making them stop in there tracks as they turn to see a girl who ran pass them with 2 grimes that look like scorpions Coming their way
"Holy!" The two ran as fast as they could trying to get away but the Grimm's we're right on their tails,One of the scorpion hit the ground making them fly forward as they hit the ground, Red roll out of the way before one of them could struck him
"Red do somthing !" i screamed
"I got this !" Red said as he threw the knife at it but it just bounced off like it was nothing
"Really !?"
"Well I did do somthing" Red said as the the grand scorpions let out a loud roar making the to scream just then when was sliced in half and it fell apart as they look to see a man brown hair dressed like a cowboy with two guns says hey shot the other Grimm scorpion killing it instantly he then turned his attention to us as we just stood there like horrify
"Are you two okay?" he asked with a slight smile
"Ah! stranger danger!" I screamed as red got in fighting stand as the guy held up his hands I'm defense
"whoa now calm down you too I'm not here to hurt any of you ,I saw you guys having trouble and I wanted to help you"
"how do we know that for sure?" Red asked him
"well for one thing I did save your lives but if you still don't believe me that is fine but I don't think it would be right if I left you guys to die" Red looked to me as I gave him a nod
"Ok fine , but who are you" red asked the man
"my name is ray , why don't you two come with me " he said as he started to walk away
"were not following him " i said as we then heard a loud roar then we both took off after the guy , we ending up in a hunt like house that was built into the trees like a tree house
"wow " red said as we followed him up the ladder and in the house , he handed us some water but we were on guard not sure to trust him
"what, not thirsty ,and no , i didn't poison it "
"what are you doing out here ?" i asked him
"studding.. "
"studding...what ? "
"the grimmis of course , i know there has Ben a raise in there number and im trying to find a way to stop it"
"all by yourself ?"
"yes, now enough about me mind telling me why you two are the only ones out here with NO WEAPONS?! "

"technically sir , i did have one and it was very useless "red said statistically
"what he means to say was that we were accidentally pulled on the battle fild when we really wasn't suppose to" i said as rey looked at us as we expelled
"you see were new here at bacon... "
"its beacon " tsume said Correcting me
"right , i mean beacon and we don't really come from a long line of monsters and big weapons were we come from "
"what are you say? are you two from another time or something ?"
"uh ...that part is hard to explain" after a minute or so rey told us that he will help us get back to the school safe , we thank him and we were off, as we walked threw the jungle like area , i notice tsume couldn't help but look at his weapon that he had strap to his back , it was a long sliver metal like staff.
"so you two never told me your names " rey said
"mother told us to never talk to strangers" i said
"it good to listen to your mother but im pretty sure she also said to say thank you to those who are kind enough to help you "he said look back at us
"my name is red and she is tsume " i said posting to tsume who was trying to stop her from taking the staff but rey saw this and took it and handed to her making her Squeal in Delight
"you guys are related ?"
"i wish , but no , were just close friends"
"sad to say everyone at beacon may think were lovers"
"could have fooled me so what weapons do you want tsume?" "rey said
"well i want a hammer "
"a hammer ? "
"not just any hammer just one that is super cool and one can change into a grenade or something"
"hm , very nice..what about you red? "
"uh not sure , didn't think so much into it but i guess a sword that lets me control the elements " i said
"nice , in order for that you need to use dust"
"dust ? "
"didn't you learn this in class ? Dust is a source of energy in Remnant. "
"i think i was sleep during that part in class "i said scratching his head

"oh and you don't ?! " i said as me and tsume started to act like children calling each other names then we were stop as rey told us to be quite and hide , we did what we were told as a another Grimm Ursa came out ,They appear much like the new Beowolf, with black fur and bony spikes on their backs and arms, as well as white, bone-like masks with red detailing, but are much larger and stockier. rey took out his guns and the battle was on
