Rain on the horizon
here in the rain everything seems clear
the water washes my soul and clears my head
so many thoughts fall away like tears falling from my eyes
is love real or does my heart lie to me
i think it's my head that's the trouble

Dress myself
wash my face,
it's time to endure
another day...
another rush
at the restaurant,
put on a smile,
and pretend it's
okay...
but i can't do this
for much longer,
my longest day
is sunday...

And it's hard to understand
what happened to the dream of forever
it's something hard i must endeavor
the cuts are gone but the scars remain
the past is a memory and the present is pain
you tore me apart like the waves of the sea
time washed
